Apa beza sistem pendidikan di US dan Malaysia ? Dari segi course outcome, facilities, student. Satu lagi, my expectation student overseas ni power-power. Pada pendapat awak, apa yang membezakan antara student yg grade overseas dgn student grade dari universiti dalam negara ? thank

I tak boleh bandingkan universiti kat Malaysia and kat US, sebab diri sendiri tak pernah ada pengalaman kat universiti dalam Malaysia. But what I can say is that universiti kat US is more open and freedom is everywhere. Kalau taknak declare major/course until the 3rd or 4th year pun boleh. Ambil la subjects apa-apa you nak ambil, ikut suka hati. Nak pergi kelas ke tak, suka hati. Nak tukar major/course pertengahan jalan pun, buat lah. Just make sure bila nak grad, you ada major and dah penuhi requirements.
Even for high school, students boleh pilih sendiri kelas yang nak ambil. Nak belajar language ke, Math ke, ikut suka. Takde a certain set of subjects macam masa PMR and SPM.
Facilities-wise... Kat sini boleh kira lengkap ah. Semua ada. Library best (promote tempat kerja jap). Hihi. Professors baik, and in US ada something like 'Office Hours', so macam boleh drop in je prof punya office weekly and either tanya khabar or soalan or borak2 je.
As for students studying abroad and locally, it depends on individuals. Sebab tak semua yang study abroad tu hebat. And itu tak bermakna yang study local itu tak hebat. Sebab opportunities mungkin limited. Ada family problems so tak boleh fly. Kekangan duit. Tak bersedia fizikal dan mental. Sakit teruk. Banyak sebab yang membuatkan seseorang itu belajar dalam negara and bukan di luar negara. Tapi tu tak bermakna mereka tak pandai.
Secara UMUMNYA, sistem pendidikan kat Malaysia sedikit sebanyak mengongkong pemikiran pelajar. Masa sekolah, SPM pun macam apa je. Grading tak tetap, turun naik turun naik. Graf diturunkan semata-mata nak banyak A's. Apa gunanya? Pelajar Malaysia, secara umumnya (bukan semua, tapi kebanyakannya), masih tak matang dan lambat untuk kejar peluang. Ramai yang masih menunggu orang bagitahu nak buat apa and bila semua and tak berani nak ambil inisiatif sendiri. Pelajar Malaysia yang ke luar negara dah di-exposed sikit, so mereka lagi cepat untuk tangkap all the chances yang ada. Mereka jenis yang tak segan nak buat something new.
Note that this is in general, and ada yang tak menepati ciri2 di atas. And ini sekadar pendapat diri sendiri je :)

I don't. Not really. Just a face wash by L'Oreal and a moisturizer. That's all.

This sem baru skip dua kelas, tu pun discussion Econ and kelas English. Last sem, hmm, rasanya dalam 5 kali kot skip lecture International Studies. But other than that, takde la :D *saya budak baik*

Well, technically you'd have to fly with your foundation results (not literally, but you have to apply with them), so yeah.
Living expenses depends on where you live and study. Like, Madison, WI is a college town, and even though it's the capital of Wisconsin, it's not that much of a city, so transportation-wise and all it's quite low. But if you study in New York or some big cities that you need to commute and live off-campus, then it might be a bit of a hassle.
And Halal food, you can always check www.zabihah.com :)
