What are you doing?
Waiting patiently for my appointment in ~24 minutes.
You once said that you're the one whose made the first move right? Do you mean that you confessed to him first? I'm secretly admired an introvert like your husband. The thing is, I myself is an introvert too. Plus he's my best friend. We even a partner in most of groupwork. In dilemma 😕
Ahahaha, yes, I made the first move, just because he was too afraid to make it himself.
We were classmates and groupmates for one of our classes, so we hung out quite a lot. We went out for lunch together, I joined him and his housemates for dinner sometimes. He even sent me home (I didn’t get my driving license until ~March 2013) sometimes.
And somehow things developed, but he never actually confessed or anything. I had to ask him about it multiple times before he finally confessed about it. But for him, at that time, he didn’t really think it was feasible, mostly because I was flying off to the States first, and he felt like we were on different levels.
But, Alhamdulillah, we made it. Things were rough here and there, but Alhamdulillah everything turned out well for us.
I guess for you and the person you’re admiring - first, figure out why you actually admire them in the first place. Admiration can be because of many different reasons - sometimes it’s best to leave it as that, but that all depends on the situation itself.
I would probably say, don’t think about it too much, and let things happen on its own. It worked for me because that’s the kind of person I am, and I made the first step because I knew something was going on between us, that we were in fact being more than just good friends. But if you and him just act like friends and nothing more, I would say just let it be for now and see how things go. Give it time. Don’t force it :)
