Meluat.

If your other half did something that upset you, and continued to do it even after you told her it upsets you, how would you feel?

That depends. Am I getting upset over petty things, or is it a major issue and needs to be addressed?

That depends - why do you need to know me? For work, personal, professional?

Salam Kak Syaza. Do you mind sharing some tips on grad school application whenever you're available? I'm thinking specifically about scholarships and how to strengthen application when my GPA isn't that good. Thank you so much and all the best with your wedding preparation <3

Wassalam, hi kiddo.
OMG sorry this took 3 months to be answered :/ I originally wanted to answer this with a blog post but screw it, a blog post would probably take me ages to do so here are some thoughts:
1) Research well.
For me, I was too lazy to take the GMAT, so the universities I applied for did not require the GMAT exam. And my intended program is also quite specific (student affairs, education and youth, etc), so finding grad programs for it is like trying to find the perfect husband. Look into their specific programs, what they offer, what courses/modules you need to take, research-based vs exam-based, length (two years vs one year), fees, possibility of funding (TA-ship, RA-ship, etc).
2) Scholarships
This is super hard to come by, especially for grad school. Find ways to fund your studies (like mentioned above, TA/RA/PA by the university, that covers tuition fees and give monthly stipends), or funding from external sources (Chevening and Commonwealth for UK masters, Fulbright for US masters, Australia Awards for Aussie, etc). Be aware of scholarships deadline (can check based on past years, usually they don't differ much) and application process.
3) Personal statement
Perhaps one of the most important parts of a grad school application - why do you want to do it in the first place? You need to elaborate what got you interested in that program, what experiences/background you have, and what you aim to get out of it. Be specific about what attracted you to that specific program at that specific school (their research facilities, their work experiences, their alumni network, their faculty strength, etc), and what you can contribute to the program.
For me, my GPA in Actuarial Science was so-so (low 3's), but because I knew my interests lie in Education and so my personal statement showcased that interest and passion, and I have my experiences to back it up. So if your GPA is not that strong, have reasons to explain why and what you want to do or can (or have done) to improve it, etc. Show potential for future improvements, the initiative to learn and grow.

What question do you ask yourself a lot?

"Are you sure about this? Like, are you really really sure?"

So you do things without considering or caring about the consequences right?

Is that a question or an assumption?

What exactly do you want these days?

Results from my scholarship application. Oh God since October okay I’ve been waiting 😪😪

I told my PIC that I want to quit after six month working and it will be on July. She persuade me to continue working for at least one year. The reason I want to quit is that I want to find new experience in another company. I am bored doing the same thing everyday. Can someone advice me?

6 months is too short a time period to fully “learn” anything. If you’re too bored, go and talk to your manager and discuss on what you can do with your learning and projects. The reason you’re “bored” can also be because you don’t look for initiative, so find some new things that you can do and learn, learn from colleagues and bosses and the place. Maximize your learning experience. After setahun nak quit OK la, less than a year is like too soon, tbh.

Macam mana kak syaza duk sorang kat us dulu..tak bosan ke 😅

Hahaha I find things to do la. I work and I hangout with friends in between. I have my Xbox and books and sometimes my friends like to come over. So OK je. It’s nice staying alone la, I have tons tons tons of privacy.

Assalam kak syaza shu nak tnya, cara utk apply scholarship nak further overseas. Sbb agak pening. Kita kena apply uni ape nak then bru apply scholarship or bleh je apply scholarship even before dpt uni ape nak? And bleh ke klau macam mara tak open kita direct mintak? Kak syaza ada link scholar tak?

Waalaikumsalam.
Either way works, depending on the scholarships la. Some apply scholarship dulu, some kena ada offer university dulu.

Saya nak apply uni dkt aussie but idk which uni should i apply sbb byk sgt offer course pharmacy. Idk which uni yg okay utk apply and easy to find place to stay, halal food and flight back to MY. Even if i check the requirements pun...still blur hm what should i do kak syaza?

👇🏻 Plus definitely talk to IDP and their counselors. They’re pretty well-versed in the field and know what to recommend.
