Kalau kat US, international students boleh kerja on campus je masa belajar (sebab bawah F-1 Student visa, so limited la options kerja tu). So most students kerja kat dining hall ke, resident hall ke, library ke, office department or something macam tu. Tak boleh kerja kat anything non-university affiliated, like Starbucks ke, McDonalds ke, Walmart ke apa.
Nak apply, boleh apply je whenever ada opening. Once dah dapat, paperwork nak kena isi tu banyak la jugak. Then if it's your first job on campus, kena ambil surat offer letter official and pergi Social Security office (government office) and mohon Social Security Number. Pastu baru senang sikit nak kerja kalau dah ada SSN tu nanti.

relating to that, in ask fm, i've never seen u talking about how insecure u are abt ur studies. in ask fm, u seem like so confident and so sure abt what u're doing. so when u curate, u talk abt ur confusions, it surprised me. ;)

I don't mind sharing my personal stories, and to be honest, I have no idea what I want in life and if you ask my close friends on the countless times I called them and yelled and screamed about how confused and insecure I feel, well, they could attest to that. But yeah, sometimes you just have to act confident to be confident :)

Hi, if you don't mind me asking this, how do you speak english so fluently and your range of vocab is so amazing! I just want to know the tips on how to speak english confidently and fluently? Like do you speak in english at home?
I guess practice makes perfect? I mean, my family uses both English and Malay at home. I love to read, and I read a lot of Malay & English books when I was younger (Enid Blyton's, Harry Potter, etc). And I write, a lot. I write for The Star, I write for NST, I write in my journal and on my blog, and I find any possible medium for me to reach out to more people.
