You and your spouse are visiting maternity clinic to check on your first child! However... doctor had found the child might have severe disability when he/she born. 1. Would you keep the pregnancy or abort it? 2. What would you do if your spouse wanted the other option?

That depends on what type of disability it is, and whether or not I think we would be able to survive/cope with it, or if there are any medications / cure for it or anything to fix it or at least make it better.
I'll also definitely consult my father (a gynaecologist) about the severity of the disability, and what he thinks of it.
As for what my spouse wants, and if it's different from mine, we'll definitely have a discussion about it, and figure out what's the best option for us, depending on what my dad's recommendation, the doctor's recommendation, the pros and cons (i.e. having a kid is a pro, but putting him/her through suffering, etc) and what we feel about it as a couple.

How do you always set your expectations? Had you been disappointed by high expectations before?

Well, haven’t we all?
I mean, it’s not just us setting all these high expectations for ourselves. Our parents, our families, our teachers and friends, they all do that for us.
To score well in school and college, to do certain programs, to win every competition or to work a certain job.
I learnt to stop putting high expectations on things because frankly I’m just tired of getting disappointments or beating myself up for not performing as well as I hoped.
So I let it go. Take things slow and enjoy life how it is. Stop worrying about what I should be doing and enjoying what life has to offer.

Continuation to the blog question... If you have a blog, do you prefer to be an anonymous writer or to reveal yourself? Why?

I reveal myself (kinda hard not to do so when your blog URL is your legit full name lol).
I believe in owning up for what you believe in - & that includes taking responsibility for what you write about. Being anonymous on the internet makes it easy for people to spread fake news, write hateful or lies about people or things, & get away with stirring controversies or problems.
By choosing to reveal myself, I am being true to myself, to my opinions and to what I believe in. & it gives me credibility when I write something, as people know who it’s coming from, instead of reading something written by a complete stranger. You would rather read a scientific blog written by a legit scientist, as compared to a stranger who claims he/she is a scientist, no?

Do you enjoy writing? If you have a blog, what would you write about?

Hello. Yes, I do actually own a blog, feel free to visit http://syazanazura.com though it’s been a little dead lately because I’ve lost my inspiration to write lately 😑

What are you doing right now?

Writing hundreds of words that would probably just be left behind in my Google Drive as “drafts” 😅😪

Can you truly say looks don't matter to you? Or it does matter to you?

Looks matter, but they’re not the utmost important thing that matters. But of course, you must look presentable in order for anyone else to either like you, or want to talk to you, or at least to create a good first impression before you win them over with your charms and lame jokes.

Awwww thank youuu kiddo ❤️❤️ Means a lot to me! All the best to you & him as well, may Allah ease everything 😘❤️

Would you volunteer yourself for a position or do you wait for others to nominate you?

That depends on the position. If I know I could do well in it, and I know I have the time and energy to spend, I'll volunteer or nominate myself for it. But if I'm on the fence (i.e. not too sure if I would be suitable), I'd wait and see if anyone thinks I'm good enough for the job.

What is your current relationship status? (you may choose not to answer the first one) What do you think of when people complain of their relationship problem?

I'm engaged, & hopefully this time around next year, if a similar question comes up, I can say that I'm happily married :3
& I think while complaints are fine, sometimes excessive complains are not. Sure, sometimes some things happen in the relationships and you feel like you need to vent it out to someone. So you either go and find someone trustworthy (a best friend, a parent, a counselor) and share the problem and get some help to solve it. But don't go around parading all your dirty laundry for the whole world to see (i.e. posting it on Twitter, on KRT Fb page, etc), that's not sweet at all. And it's unfair, to you, and to your significant other.
But the most important part is actually talking out the problem with your significant other, and try to work it out personally between the two of you. Communication is key in any strong and long lasting relationship, so you need to learn to talk to each other about any problems you're facing and learn to compromise with each other.
So communication is vital, and as much as possible, try to keep the problems between the two of you. If you really cannot solve it (or if no one is willing to compromise), probably try to get a third party's opinion (relationship counselor, etc). And if possible, try not to involve the parents or in-laws (if you're married) in any problems you're facing, because even though you two might get over it in the future, your family or in-laws might still remember and hold grudges or act differently because of it.

Had you ever wish to stay as a child, with no responsibilities and with all the joy in this world?

Yes, but then again I think, as a child, I wouldn’t be able to do all the things I want, I have to be bounded by rules (curfews, age limits, etc), so where’s the fun in that?

How much do you trust other people?

On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being no trust at all and 10 being with all my heart, probably a 6.23 or something like that.

I just got my result and for the first time in my life, tak dpt dekan. Sedih gila ya dont know what to do

Tak dapat dekan is not the end of the world. Take it as a lesson, & work harder the next semester.
When I was in university, I only made it to the Dean’s list once (4th semester out of 8 semester). I failed one of my Psych exam, along with some of my Actuarial Science exams. My GPA was even below 3.0 for two semesters (Semester 5 & 7), heck, it was even below 2.5 for Semester 7.
And for someone who flew through high school with straight A’s and made her school and parents proud with her SPM results, doing that bad in college could’ve thrown me in the deep end of the world.
But I fought it. I knew that while I could’ve done better, & I tried to do better the next time around, I didn’t let a measly number dictate the rest of my life. My GPA is not a story of my life. My worth is not shown through that GPA. I equipped myself with things far more important that what my GPA tells about me, & I was willing to fight for myself.
Even when I was interviewing for jobs, I was ready for the question “Why was your GPA so bad?” But none of the interviews I went for asked me that. None of them wanted an explanation of why I wasn’t on the Dean’s list every semester, or why my GPA was below 3 for two semesters. My resume showed them my worth, & that was all I need.
So yes, while getting a dekan is a good, or excellent thing, not getting them is NOT a bad thing. Learn from your mistakes, and make up for it in other ways. You know yourself more than what that piece of certificate can tell about you, so know your worth and know that you are more than just a number or another person om the dean’s list.

When you looked at yourself in the mirror today, what was the first thing you thought?

“Dang you don’t look so good, go rest”

Kalau orang jumpa kak syaza kat memana dan treat you as a figure like minta ambil gambar ke apa, how will you react? Do you prefer that?

I don’t necessarily “prefer” it, sebab sometimes bila keluar, I don’t actually like meeting anyone I know (or anyone that knows me), though sometimes I do appreciate it when people who recognizes me comes up to me to say hello & tell me how they know me or something like that. ☺️

If someone will massage you what kind of massage do you like?? I prefer giving a japanese massage. 😉

1. I’m picky about who I allow to touch me, let alone massage me.
2. I prefer aromatherapy or thai massage.
