Want to make more friends? Try this: Tell us what you like and find people with the same interests. Try this: + add more interests + add your interests

Hello again. Thank you soo much for your kind words. My tutor did say that we should have a specific goals as a driving force for us to put the effort. The thing is, i am easily distracted -social media //shame on me :P. And i tend to procrastinate my work T.T. However, I'll try my best. Big thanks

Procrastination & social media are the two best friends of students everywhere, don't worry about that. As long as you know your limits, that's alright :)

so hey like my SAT are quite low. 1400 and im applying for wisconsin. is it like okay? since, tak nampak pun kat blog dia state pasal SAT? TOEFL je ada

UW-Madison do not have any minimum requirement for both SAT and TOEFL. If you want to apply with an SAT score of 1400, feel free to do so. Do note, however, that typically, admitted applicants would have an SAT score between 1800-2070. There have been people admitted with lower SAT scores, but you better make sure your other application materials are strong enough to make up for your low SAT score.

what does it mean by higher education? i mean like apa beza dia dgn high school or whatnot omg APPLYING SUCKSSSSS

Higher education = post high school education.

Have you taken or will take high (secondary) school exams? Check all that apply: Advanced Level Examination Ordinary Level (GCSE – General Certificate of Secondary Education) Examination Other help! if i'm in adfp, which one should i tick? and if it is other, what should i specify it?

Other. And SPM la, assuming that you took SPM.

They ask for Counselor Name, address , phone number and etc. Can we use our high school counselor or do we need to ask from INTEC for this?

High school counselor / teacher.

Hello. How are you? Next week, I'm going to start my second semester as a foundation student in local university. Thus, i want to seek your advices about how can i improve myself (in terms of study, friends, and even myself) compare from the first sem. I know that university life is totally differen

Hello there. I'm doing great, thank you. I hope you are well too :)
Good luck in starting your second semester in your foundation studies. I wish you all the best and may Allah ease your journey!
1) Start by thinking about what you want to achieve this semester. Set a realistic target and write it down. For example, if you achieved a GPA of 3.0 last semester, aim for a higher but realistic target, like getting a GPA of 3.3 or a GPA of 3.5. Remember, your goals must be S.M.A.R.T. It must be Specific (ie getting a GPA of 3.5 instead of just saying getting a higher GPA), it must be Measurable (ie getting a minimum of an A/B in all classes, instead of just saying to improve in all classes). It must also be Attainable and Realistic (ie perhaps getting a 4.0 GPA may not be realistic if you achieved lower than 3.0 for your first semester, therefore aim to consistently improve by getting a GPA about 0.3 - 0.6 higher than last semester is better than aiming straight to the top, as this might make you feel overwhelmed and demotivated). Last but not least, it must be Timely (ie by the end of the semester, so you can account yourself to your goals).
Write your goals down, and work hard towards it. Whenever you feel down or demotivated throughout the whole semester, think back and reflect on your goals, and it should make you feel more motivated.
2) Improve your relationship with your professors / lecturers. Get to know them. Ask for their advice. Learn from their wisdom. They are your source of knowledge, and they are there to help you, only if you put in the effort to meet them and ask for it.
3) As for your friends, I'm not really sure how to help you out. But what you can do is make sure you're not sticking to the same group of friends throughout the whole semester, especially if they're from your old school. Learn to open up to new people, make new friends, and expand your network.
Hope this helps :) Let me know if you need anything else or more specific advice. Good luck! :) Do let me know once in a while how things are going, I'd love to hear more :)

Good morning sis. How do we fill up the counselor part in the common app?

Good morning. What are the questions that they ask for? 'Cause the last time I used it, I only needed my teacher's email, and he'll fill up the rest.

Assalamualaikum kak. Is there any difference if i send my dossier all by myself to the uni of my choice instead of letting intec send it for me? Tq :)

Waalaikumsalam. Yes, there is. Your universities will require OFFICIAL transcripts and all, so sending it by yourself is not considered official. If INTEC sends it for you, they will seal the envelope so that it will be considered as official.

when you applied for uni, did you apply as a first time freshman or transfer student? can the credits from adfp program be transferred? thank youu

First time freshman, and yes, some are transferable.

is intec considered as postsecondary institution? i'm so confused. don't know whether to put i'm taking college level courses or not in my uni application.

If you're planning in transferring some or all of your courses in INTEC, then yes, record them. INTEC is a post-high school institutionm

hi. im applying for university of illinois... do i just put my spm results or do i need every results from every semester from secondary school? thanks.

You'll need transcripts from high school as well, including all exams and semesters.
