I've done a diploma that my parents wanted me to do and now I'm about to do the degree that they have set me up to. My passion is for something else but I don't have the courage to say NO to my parents. However, I feel like it's too late to change anything now.
It's never too late to change anything, and not being able to do a degree in something does not mean that you won't be able to pursue your passion in the future. There is always an option for a second degree, or a certificate, or a Master's. But at least, go talk to your parents about it and get their input. 😊

JPA-MARA specifically in ADFP Engineering takde. JPA-MARA baru start hantar ADFP last year so this incoming batch of students for next Fall is the first batch. Before ni JPA-MARA hantar ALUK.

I am not a double major student (well, not yet). I'm currently pursuing a BBA in Actuarial Science & a Certificate in Education & Educational Services. I might do a double major in Risk Management & Insurance, but I'm not sure on that. As long as you do not incur extra costs for MARA, they are usually fine with it. Just make sure to inform them about it. And yes, I have friends who successfully changed their majors in the US (ie from Biotech to Vet and such). The process, as far as I know, is hard and annoying (like all MARA processes are). Inform Puan Hatifah (MARA Director) about the intended change and she will let you know of the proper way of appealing to MARA KL.
Do you have any idea about Harvard SEAS? Do you ever pass by the buildings or have any friends there?

Hi :) I just finished my Diploma & got an offer to further my degree in Newcastle, UK this Sept & I'm so excited because that has been my dream since high school. The problem is, my CGPA is 2.75 only & I can't seem to find the financial aid that I need. I don't want to burden my parents at all so -

Try looking into various options to get the financial aid that you need: 1. Financial aid / scholarships by the university (http://www.ncl.ac.uk/undergraduate/finance/internationalstudentfinance/) [hoping I got the university correct, if not, look into their website for info] 2. Look into taking out a student loan from a bank. 3. Yayasan negeri at your negeri. 4. EduLoan MARA (not sure if you pass their requirements or not, but check if you haven't) If still not possible, pay on your own for the first semester or two, but work your ass off to get a super good results and apply for scholarships then.

I'm not too sure specifically on health science. I just know that people don't usually come to the US for that.

I'd suggest you to start reading. Read a novel or any English book. Start small, probably one book every two weeks or so, and then you can be a hardcore reader (one book per day, etc). Keep a dictionary close to you (or a dictionary app in your phone), so that you can always check the meanings of new words.
Also, use a note-taking app or a physical notebook to jot down new words & meanings so that you can keep track and remember what you've learned. Also, you can jot down interesting quotes or phrases that you like.
