I try not to get too involved in the whole Budget discussion, when I'm personally struggling to understand the concepts and theories I learn in my Intro to International Studies and Microeconomics classes. Hi kak :), wow INTEC sounds like a warzone. I found this blog belonging to an INTEC student and she sorta went through the same thing. She was isolated and there were a lot of tears, self-criticism and she was just bashing herself up emotionally. I feel sorry for her. Is it a normal thing in Intec?
I'm gonna have to say it's not an 'INTEC' thing, it's just LIFE as it is. You see these things happening everywhere, so yeah.

I don't smoke, will never smoke, and dislike those who do.

What is the most surprising thing about the people from "the other side"? Like their culture and all that.
"The other side", as in the "other side of the world" or the "supernatural world" like in the Vampire Diaries series? LOL
But, they're okay. The Americans, I mean. They're nice and friendly and not as crazy and 'high-class' as some of us thought they are. Sure, there's some exceptions, where some people are just plain a** selfish and all, but most of them are okay. And surprisingly (or not), American kids are not that filthy rich. Heck, considering how they'd have to work part-time to be able to have some extra money to spend, us Malaysians here are thought to be well-off considering our tuition fees are paid for, and we get monthly allowances. But then again, that's what some people think, and, of course, sometimes the money isn't enough, so yeah.
Oh, and I hate the fact that the driver's on the left seat in the car, and on the road, you'd be on the right side instead of the left. And I hate the fact that I'd have to convert everything into feet, inches, pounds, ounces and Fahrenheit instead of the normal meter/centimeter, kilogram/gram and Celsius.

Hi kak :) So from your previous answer, what kind of 'shits' happened at INTEC exactly?
Shits such as having to move classes, having people talk about me behind my back, being in a place where a lot of people know who I am but not many 'know' the real me, being treated like a piece of scrap paper that was stepped and thrown away, used over and over again, taken for granted without appreciation, that kinda thing.

Why did you choose U. Wisconsin-Madison? :)
I don't know. I just felt good when I started applying to this university. It's in a great place, not that great of a weather considering Wisconsin's winters are horrible, but the Business School's here is great and it's not that much of a 'Kampung Melayu', so yeah :)
Does INTEC offer a January intake since the website says the requirements are based on SPM results which will only come out in March??
Yes, they do have a January intake, mostly MARA students from MRSM, the fast track people. But there are also some private students for ADFP in the January intake.
Are there any Chinese or Indians at INTEC?
Yes, there are. Quite a lot too, if I may say so.
How long are you staying in overseas??
A minimum of four years, insyaAllah. Unless I continue with Masters or graduate school. Or unless I get a job and start working here. :)
Does INTEC really send their students to Harvard and Yale and Brown? The website doesn't look convincing.
Brown, yes, one ACT7 student went to Brown this year. Yale and Harvard, I'm not sure, perhaps some time in the past?
