What do you do if you can’t let go the feeling of failure and rejection esp. when u grad from top uni and not getting the job u wanted, not having a partner to share your life with, feeling super alone most of the times?

2) Life’s not easy. It’s a roller coaster journey, & everyone goes through life at a different pace. Take your time. Find your place in the world. Take it slow and you’ll make it there one day.
3) Surround yourself with things and people that makes you happy. Pick up a new hobby and find what makes you light up. Find the little things in life that makes it all worth it.

Just nk share pendapat. Masalah graduan t'lalu memilih gaji "standard" kelulusan sehingga mereka tk kerja. Bg sy, tak salah jika kerja dengan gaji yg murah asalkan dpt pengalaman. Hanya utk sementara,asalkan . Ini lebih baik dr bekerja di mekdi/grab walau dibayar gaji lebih mhl.

Itu semua bergantung kepada beberapa faktor, seperti:
1) Individu tersebut
2) Kelayakan individu tersebut
3) Industri / kerja yang dicari
4) Skills & pengalaman yang ada pada individu tersebut
I tak pernah cakap yang graduan salah untuk menerima kerja dengan gaji yang rendah untuk menimba pengalaman. Boleh tu memang la boleh.
Cumanya, yang salahnya bila:
(1) majikan ambil kesempatan atas para graduan dengan memberikan gaji rendah,
(2) graduan yang tidak tahu berapa gaji yang ‘setimpal’ dengan kelayakan & skill yang mereka ada, dan
(3) orang yang dok paksa graduan untuk terima je gaji rendah dengan alasan “kami dulu mula kerja dengan gaji rendah, ok je.”
Sebab tu penting untuk buat kajian dan cari gaji apa yang setimpal yang berpatutan dengan kelayakan/skill/pengalaman.

Hi there, sorry for the late reply!
1) On how to apply to universities
Look up the university(ies) that you want to apply to and find their Admissions page. They typically have a How to apply section that lists down their requirements, any documents/statements that they need, the deadlines and everything. Usually, for Master’s programs, you’d have to apply directly to the universities, so be sure to start researching the universities early!
2) On financial assistance.

Also look up the university’s Financial Aid/Scholarship pages for potential scholarship opportunities.

I want to learn to code. It’s always been something I wanted to start and learn but never got around to do it.

Yep, definitely talk to them and have them plan something out. I’ve texted Ms Asma a few times when I knew I was coming back home for good, but she hasn’t responded (😭😭😭), so if you guys talk to them, she might be able to do something.
I’m starting work in February, but will be back home in Malaysia in mid-January. If there’s time to plan it, we can probably do it on the last week of January if you guys are already back for the Spring semester.

Ahh I see. Thanks so much for clarifying this! I was confused for a moment there. I’m in my second year! So I’m left with spring and summer sems next year. Before this year, we only have 20 (max) students per intake but since fall this year, jpa mara has resumed sending scholars to the states (cont)

Ahhh that’s good to know that JPA-MARA has resumed their sponsorship to the States, 🎉
So right now, you should be on your break before Spring semester, right? Time to churn out all those personal statements and university applications before deadlines in January/February (though I recall transfer deadlines for UW-Madison is a little later in March? Ye ke? Lol forgot already)
