I've actually been writing since I was probably 10 I found an old diary of where I used to write my cringy secrets at age 10?! lol. My grammar? LOL I've just never stopped I just enjoyed writing about my day & when I was 17 decided I'd keep a blog where I could write whatever it is I want.
My passion was fueled by relationships I'd been through as I got older or noticed my friends go through. I felt like women were too embarrassed to talk about how crap their relationships were going so decided to blog on it myself.
I also enjoy sending my articles to my friends & their feedback also helped. I've never wanted to stop writing because it's probably the only thing I enjoy ding. It sounds silly but as much as I make people read my work, I honestly write for myself. When you enjoy something a whole lot, you may take a break, but you won't stop.

I started a blog when I was 17 but i too never showed my parents because it was about boys. You can imagine what African parent wants to read about their daughters opinion on boys? You're parents don't need to be interested now, focus on feeling comfortable enough to blog freely.

Why do you want to fit in? Listen it's great if you have a great academical record, but never try to fit in, being around people who have the same goals & determination is what you REALLY need. One day those people will try & fit in with you, I experienced it so believe me!
