جزاك الله خيرا على الرد.. ترتيب جامعة أوتاوا ١٤١ على جامعات العالم، بينما الجامعات الأربعة اللي ذكرتها ترتيبها أقل من ١٠٠.. شو هي المزايا اللي ترفع من قيمة أوتاوا بوجهة نظرك؟
المدينة فيها أفضل جالية مسلمة في كندا بلا منازع. المدينة الوحيدة التي فيها مجلس أئمة يشمل جميع مساجد المدينة، ورابطة تشمل جميع المنظمات الإسلامية في أوتاوا، وكثافة الجالية تزيد عن ١٠% من سكان العاصمة، من أعلى الكثافات السكانية للجالية المسلمة في كندا،
زد الحدائق والمواصلات العامة والمطاعم الحلال والمدارس الإسلامية، تجعل من الصعب مقارنتها بمدينة أخرى لو انت رب أسرة مسلمة.
لو عزابي ممكن أقولك جرب ووترلوو لوحدك مش مشكلة.
انا بتكلم من منظور اجتماعي بحت.

انا الان انتبهت أن السائل الأول كان يسأل عن الدكتوراه.
بالنسبة للدكتوراه في كندا، الأصل هو الحصول على قبول من مشرف، القرار بيده، ثم الجامعة تبع له.
فليبحث السائل الأصلي مشكورا عن مشرف مهتم بالتخصص الذي يريده الطالب، عن طريقة تصفح مواقع الجامعات المذكورة، وليراسل المشرفين المحتملين.
ما أن يحصل على قبول للمشرف فالجامعة تقبل الطالب غالبا بلا قيود.

هل يجوز عدم اتباع مذهب معين كأن اعتمد مذهبا في مسألة معينة و مذهبا آخر في مسألة أخرى.أو مثلا الصلاة أشياء فيها اتبع مذهبا و اشياء اخرى فيها اتبع مذهبا آخر.

الخسوف مرتبط بالرؤية بالإجماع، ولا عبرة بالحساب الفلكي.
فلو حصل الخسوف فلكيا ولم يراه أحد بسبب الغيم، لم تشرع صلاة الخسوف.

Note that you can be married for 10 years and still don't know each other.
If there's chemistry (attraction, appeal to looks etc) then there's a direct and indirect ways to move forward.
Indirect by asking about them, sending questions through a proxy, etc.
Direct, by going up to them and tallying to them directly.
The latter is called الرؤية الشرعية, it takes place under the supervision of a Mahram. It can be done once, twice or three times, before a decision to engage or not engage must be reached.
Once engaged, there's no more need to talk because interest has been demonstrated from both parts. The engagement is strictly a period of time to prepare for the marriage (accommodation, etc). The engaged couple are considered أجانب, or foreign to each other, and they should refrain from any non essential communication.
The point, Islam encourages the marriage to take place as quickly as possible, and makes divorce as simple as possible as well.

The six days of shawal (S) or Ramadan make up (Q) can be combined with Mondays (M), Thursdays (T) or white days (W).
You can combine with lower intention if you can't escape it on that day.
So
SM, ST, SW, QM, QT, QW, MW, MT are all permissible combinations.
SQ is not permissible, MT is impossible.
