A sister stole a lot in jahiliyah 20years ago & has intended to pay back these debts when she gets an income. She gave charity many times hoping Allah would increase her wealth so she can pay her debts. Now she understands that she should have started to pay off debts instead. Was her charity valid?

A theft is not a debt. It is a theft. As expiation, you must return the money to its owner if you know them, otherwise give it in charity on their behalf.
Because it is not a debt, the knowledge of the owner is not required when you return the theft. You can give it to them as a gift, or hide it in their belonging without their knowledge.

In regards to the tawassul question - did the Hanbalis mean tawassul by the status/dhaat of the Nabiy ﷺ or did they mean actually asking the Nabiy ﷺ at his grave?

Both were reported by imam Ahmed.

So there are people who make yt videos to show the kuffar that muslims are normal people. But sometimes they go beyond islamic boundaries eg one of them hugged girls in a video. That's sinning publicly, so is it permissible to warn against them on fb?

Warn the kuffar?! Lol. Mind your own business.

Salam Alaykum, would you kindly explain how Tawassul is a juristic issue and not a creedal one? Jzk.

Tawassul is seeking a connection that would bring your need closer to God.
You can ask a righteous person to make du'aa for you, that's a form of Tawassul. The Prophet and compounds did that. It is unanimously permissible.
You can ask God, by the merit of a sincere act of worship you have done, to answer your need. The Prophet and companions did that. It is unanimously permissible.
You can do Tawassul with the Prophet peace be upon him, as stated by Imam Ahmed himself. The Prophet instructed a companion to do that. It is prohibited by the majority of mathaahib because it may lead to a prohibition, but it is permissible in Hanbali mathhab.
In Tawassul, there's no question about the person's faith and that they're intention is to seek the answer/help from God. Hence it's not a creedal issue.
Even Sheikh Mohammed ibn Abdulwahhab, who prohibited Tawassul by the prophet despite being Hanbali, said it is not a form of Shirk.
Istighatha with other than God, is seeking rescue from from than God, like saying O Ali save me. Is different than Tawassul, and it is prohibited in our mathhab.

دلوقتي يا شيخ لو حد شرب خمر مينفعش يصلي إلا بعد أربعين يوم؟!

بل يجب عليه ألا يترك صلاة واحدة في وقتها، ويصلي ولو كان سكرانا، ما دام يعي ما يقول. فإن لم يعي ما يقول فيأثم للتأخير ويقضي ما فاته متى ما أفاق.
ويحرم شارب الخمر ثواب الصلاة اربعين يوما إن لم يتب من الخمر فإن تاب قبلت صلاته على الفور.
وبلاش تقولي شيخ يا هندسة.

Quick background: I'm 19, non-Arab, memorized some surahs, admitted to some Saudi unis and still waiting, still improving my ilm alaat (ajurrumiyyah, sarf), haven't talaqqi any Fiqh books yet. I need some advices on what should I do for this 1 year or more before I travel, besides 30 juz hifz? JzkAk

Here's a year plan,
1. Learn the seera of the prophet, the biographies of 10 notable companions and study briefly Islamic history
2. Study Arabic until you finish an explanation of ajurromiyya in grammar and albinaa' in morphology.
3. Read at least 30 short stories and 1-2 novels in Arabic to improve your lexicon.
4. Memorise no less than the last one tenth of the Qur'an this year.
5. Have a daily half page read of Riyadh Assaliheen or Adab alMufrad.
6. Attend a beginner Fiqh class on any Mathhab taught by a reliable Fiqh scholar available in your city.
Come back again in six months and tell me how is it going.

I'm a Muslim who has a lot of atheist friends, and they all have a better life than me. I'm not so religious, but why god helps them, give them, make them better than me? I'm the one who supposed to have a better life, right?

Compare your life to the pain and torture that any Prophet of God faced in their life.
Then think again.
The Messenger of God said: Had this world been worth a wing of a mosquito to God, He would not have allowed a disbeliever to have a single sip of water.
This world is a world of doing the work and going through the tests. The next life is the world of reward.
God says: And on the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Hellfire, it will be said to them "You have depleted your rewards during your worldly life and enjoyed them, so this Day you will be awarded the punishment of humiliation because you were arrogant upon the earth without a right, and because you were defiantly disobedient." (46:20)
Finally, it's good to keeping in touch with people of all faiths, and have a friendly relationship in which they can get to learn about Islam. However, you are greatly affected by your close friends. The Prophet said: everyone will be resurrected along with their closest friends, so be careful whom you choose as close friends.
Also he said: Do not have a close companion except that they're a believer, and let no one eat your food except the righteous (meaning to stay away from inviting wicked people to your home)
Also he said: the example of a good friend is like a perfume seller, either you buy perfume from them, or they give you some to try, or at least you smell good fragrance. The example of a bad friend is like being near a blacksmith; either they burn your clothes, or your hands get charred, or at least you inhale the smoke from them.

السلام عليكم .. يا اخي الدين النصيحة وانا افكر في دراسة law clerk diploma في معهد الجونكوين باوتاوا .. فهل هذا الدبلومة مناسبة لبيئة العمل الكندية .. وما رأيك في هذا المعهد وجزاك الله خيرا

كلية ألگونكوين كلية جيدة جدا، تأكد من طلبة تخرجوا من هذه الشهادة ويعملون بها (ابحث في لينكد إن مثلا)
تأكد من وجود مدرسين جيدين على موقع rate my prof
لم اسمع عن هذه الدبلوما من قبل لكن عموما اعمال paralegal هي اعمال جيدة خصوصا لكون اوتاوا العاصمة مع كثرة السفارات ومن يحتاج ملء الطلبات الحكومية إلخ.
ولا تنس صلاة الاستخارة.

هو أنا لو بقول دعاء الاستخارة قبل أي قرار حتى لو بسيط، يبقا وسواس وبدعة؟! وبكرره كتير لو أمر أكبر؟ يعني ممكن استخير قبل ما أرد ع الموب لو حد قلقانة من مكالمته أو اسنخير قبل ما اشتري عباية أو استخير قبل ما اقرأ كتاب او اسمع درس اروح محاضرة وبعتبره كأني بستأذن الله وبسأله الخير دا أثاب عليه وال غلط؟

هكذا فعل الصحابة رضوان الله عليهم، ثبتك الله وهداك ووقاك واكرمك بالإلتجاء إليه لا لأحد من خلقه عند كل حاجة

The Messenger of God said: it is prohibited for any woman who believes in God and the final day to travel without a male guardian.
If your father or brother travels with you, ensures you're staying with good company in a safe place, there's no problem that they go back and you continue your studies by yourself.

العجب أنه له أن يفعل ما يشاء، فيختار أن يقيم السماوات والأرض بالحق. سبحانه!
العجب أنه لا يسأل عما يفعل، وهم يُسألون، ثم يحرم الظلم على نفسه، ويجعله محرّما. سبحانه!
العجب أنه يأمر بالعدل، ويختار أن تسبق رحمته غضبه. سبحانه!
كيف لا تعجب من رب قهار، جبار، قادر على أن يهلك الظالمين بلمح البصر، عالم بظلمهم وجرمهم واسوداد قلوبهم وخبث مصيرهم، ولكن يمهلهم، ويرزقهم، ويحفظهم في نومهم، ويمدهم بالاموال والاولاد، ويبتليهم بين الفينة والأخرى بأدنى البلاء تذكيرا لهم وحثا لهم على التوبة، وإقامة حجة لهم بالبلاغ.
كيف لا تعجب من إله يستر على عباده المذنبين في الليل والنهار، ثم يستجيب دعاءهم، ويتقبل توبتهم، ويرسل بالنصر على أيديهم؟
واللهِ، من رحمته بك أنك تجهل مدى لطفه بك وحفظه لك وتدبيره من أجلك، ولو علمت كم الكوارث والمصائب والأدواء والأخطار التي تحيط بك في كل لحظة لا يصرفها عنك إلا حفظه وستره ومنّه وكرمه لطاش قلبك يا مسكين عجزا عن شكره ولذبت في حبه، ولما قامت لك دنيا ولا استقام لك العمل ولا ذقت طعم النوم ولا هنئت بعيش ولا زواج ولا ذرية.
فسبحان الله حين تمسون وحين تصبحون
وله الحمد في السماوات والأرض وعشيا وحين تظهرون.

You don't seem unaware that Friday prayer is the most important obligation in the life of a Muslim man.
Neither you seem unaware that the companies of the Prophet would attend the prayer even if they were bedridden, carried on the shoulders of their friends, with their feet dragging, because of how much they wanted to be there - despite having the excuse of illness -
I often hear stories of people who reschedule trips, medical appointments, even surgeries because they do not want to miss Friday prayer, despite having a legitimate excuse like travel or illness.
Those people made these choices without anyone telling them they should do that, and better than them are the companions who raced to prayer without even having role models.
Think about what is the worse that could happen if you miss one career counseling appointment, versus missing one prayer knowingly.
You don't need awareness about all this, you probably don't need career counseling either, you need help determine your goals and priorities in life. Because if your goal was earning a halal income, then missing prayers is perhaps not your fastest route.
Perhaps you were wishing for a waiver from Friday prayer because of your whatever other optional arrangements you chose to make at that same time, then let me tell right now that you must change that behavior.
If you want to have a winner's mentality, to be always at the front row in pleasing God and to constantly try to draw nearer to Him everyday more than yesterday, then you have to quit the mentality of seeking excuses with God.
God describes two kinds of attitudes towards prayer "those who are protective over their prayers" and "those who, if they do get up to prayer, they get up lazily, ensuring that people see them, and do not remember God except a little." Which one would make you a better person?

ضروري بالله يا شيخ تجيبني انا دخلت مكة من اسبوعين ومأحرمتش بالطائرة لاني كنت ناوي احج مفرد وكنت فاكر انه الاحرام للحج المفرد بيكون قبل وقت الحج يعني في وقت الحج هل دلوقت المفروض اعمل ايه ؟

لا حرج عليك أن تجهل شيئا عن الحج، لكن أن تسافر للحج ولم تتعلم كيف تحرم يا أخي ويمر اسبوعان قبل أن تسأل، وهواتف الفتوى في كل شبر في الحرم.
اتصل بهواتف الفتوى في الحرم، سيخبروك أن عليك دما (شاة تطعمها لأهل الحرم)، وكيف تتصرف، ويخبرونك أي ميقات يجب أن تعود إليه وتحرم منه ثم تعود.

ممكن، بس مش دائما.

سافرنا لكندا لأنها بلد العدل واردنا الاستقرار، ولكن كل شيئ فيها تدخل فيها القروض البنكية سواء البيت او السيارة، فأمر السيارة سهل، نستحمل قليلا ثم نشتري واحدة مستعملة. ولكني لا اجد حل للبيت، فأما القرض او اعيش في بيت ايجار، مال مهدر و كل سنة الايجار بيتغير ، وممكن امشي في اي وقت, فاين الاستقرار،

بدءا، الحمد لله على سلامتك.
اولا، السيارات القديمة سعرها يبدأ من ٥٠٠ دولار وطالع، ومن اراد سيارات قديمة مجانا يجد.
ثانيا، لا يكاد يكون هناك وكيل سيارات جديدة إلا وعنده in house financing يعني خيار تقسيط من داخل الوكالة ليس عن طريق بنك أو وسيط، على سبيل المثال وكالات كيا وتويوتا وهوندا وفورد ومتسوبيشي وجي إم بكاملها، وكالاتهم كلهم في اوتاوا عندهم التقسيط بدون بنك.
ثالثا بالنسبة للبيوت، كندا الآن ولمدة أربع سنوات تحتل المركز الاول في أكثر سوق عقاري مبالغ في أسعاره. هناك تضخم كبير جدا في السوق أدى إلى أن غالبية المختصين سواء بالاستثمار او بالعقار يحذرون من انتكاسة قريبة فى السوق العقاري، وعدم شراء بيت.
رابعا: ثلُثا البيوت في كندا هي بيوت للإيجار، حق المستأجر مضمون من أن المؤجر لا يستطيع إخراجه بغير حق حتى لو أراد المؤجر أن يسكن أخاه في المنزل وليس عنده سكن آخر - وهناك قضية مشهورة في محكمة النقض تؤيد هذا -
خامسا: لا يحق للمؤجر زيادة الايجار اكثر من ١.٥٪ (واحد ونصف بالمائة) مرة واحدة سنويا.
سادسا: عقدت كبر مجلات الاقتصاد المنزلي money sense مقارنة بين الايجار والشراء في كندا مفادها: أنك لو اشتريت بيتا على تقسيط ٢٠ سنة. او استأجرت نفس البيت لمدة ٢٠ سنة. فإنك بنهاية العشرين سنة
١. تكون دفعات الشراء جاوزت ٢٠٠٪ اي دفعت فوق البيت سعره بالكامل فائدة للبنك، في حين لا تتجاوز دفعات الايجار ٩٠٪ من ثمن البيت. يعني لو كل شهر وضعت فرق القسط عن الايجار على جنب، بعد عشرين سنة يكون عندك ثمن البيت كاملا وفوقه ١٠٪.
٢. تكون امتلكت بيتا عمره ٢٠ عاما، فيجب عليك تأمين مرتفع لأنه اقدم من عشرة سنوات، وصيانات إلزامية مكلفة.
٣. ستكون محبوسا في منطقة واحدة ومدينة واحدة لمدة ٢٠ سنة للمشتري، في حين المستأجر يمكنه تغيير محل الإقامة في أي وقت
ختاما، الله الله في دينكم، إياكم أن يكون ثمن الحرية والعدالة إن تبيعوا دين اولادكم. قالت رضي الله عنها لزوجها: إتق الله فينا، فإنا نصبر على الجوع ولا نصبر على النار.
قال عليه الصلاة السلام ما الفقر أخشى عليكم ولكن أخشى عليكم الدنيا أن تفتح لكم فتنافسوها كما تنافسها الذين من قبلكم فتهلككم كما اهلكتكم.

وقت خروج العصر في مصر يا شيخ لأني مش عارفة أحسبه؟

من أي برنامج صلاة، اختاري طريقة حساب العصر حنفي، وقت دخول العصر عند السادة الأحناف هو نفسه وقت انتهاء الوقت الاختياري عند الحنابلة، الذي يحرم تأخير العصر إلى ما بعده بدون عذر.

Mum is having a surgery on Friday in shaa Allah. Please make duaa for her. And is it ok to fast today with the intention for her cure?

Fast with the intention that your worship will make you closer to Allah and utilize your day for that purpose, reading Qur'an, seeking forgiveness, doing thikr, until it's sunset when the prayer of the fasting person has a guaranteed response, focus all your du'aa and urgency towards asking Allah to cure her.
May Allah cure her and grant all our ill brothers and sisters a quick recovery. Ameen.

انا عايزة اصوم بكرة صيام تطوع عادي بس انا في اجازة وبنام بعد الفجر وبصحي 10 وارجع انام تاني للعصر ..النوم الكتير دا ياثر ع صحة الصيام؟

لا يؤثر على تمامه؛ من حيث أنه يجزئ او لا.
ويؤثر على كماله، من حيث أنه أقل رتبة من الصائم المداوم على الذكر وقراءة القرآن حال صيامه،
والصائم النائم خير من المفطر النائم، والذاكر المفطر خير من الصائم النائم
