Sheikh is it allowed to kill a sheep or camel on the behalf of Rasool Allaah(PBUH) or his Companions for the sake and will of Allaah?
As to slaughtering a sacrifice on behalf of deceased Muslims who didn't request it in their will, it is permissible. Imam ibn annajjar said: the sacrifice on behalf of the deceased is more needed than doing one on behalf of the living, because unlike the latter, they're no longer able to do good deeds anymore. This includes the companions of the Prophet, peace be upon him.
As to the slaughter on behalf of the Prophet, or doing Umrah or Hajj, or reciting Qur'an and gifting the reward to him; the scholars have disputed on the permissibility of this.
Imam Annawawi said: "it is not proper manners to deal with the highness of the Prophet in ways he did not indicate they were possible. That's why our scholars agree on the permissibility of making salawat upon him, but hesitate on the permissibility of sending God a request for mercy or forgiveness upon him."
Many other scholars explicitly stated it is discouraged, disrespectful and some said it is void because the Prophet gets the full reward of every single act of worship, be it mandatory or suprerogatory, done by any Muslim because he taught it originally to us. And the teachers get an equal reward of the actions which they taught to their students.
On the other hand, It was reported by assabki that Ibn Umar did a Umrah and gifted it to the Prophet, also al-Ghazaali reported that Ali bin almouwaffaq gifted sixty Hajj to the Prophet, and that Muhammad bin Ishaaq annaysaaboori gifted ten thousand khatmas of Qur'an to the Prophet.
Our mathhab is that it is permissible to gift any act of worship, fully or partially, to any Muslim, living or deceased.
Imam al-Buhooti said in the kashaaf: "it is permissible to gift any ritual, in full or a part such as its half or third, to any living or deceased Muslim, including to the Messenger of God, peace be upon him"
