Your sister isn't kafir, she's curious, and needs few answers and lots of help. If she has an intolerant and bigot brother like yourself then I pray Allah to grant her patience and protect her from your evil. I really don't know what can I say to your case, it's beyond my ability to help, may Allah deal with you in the way He seems fittest for you.

السلام عليكم, لو حد بعتلي صورة من كتاب مدرسي عشان اساعده اساعده ولا أقوله اكتبه؟ أو ايه المخرج من موضوع الحقوق دا ؟
لا حرج بلا خلاف في اخذ صورة او صفحة او فصل كامل من كتاب لغرض المدارسة، أمل اذا كان الكتاب مصورا كاملا او اغلبه، فلا يجوز بلا استئذان، وفي استئذان الناشر او المؤلف خلاف وتفصيل.
يجوز اني اعمل حفلة يوم ميلادصديقتي بنية ادخال سرور على قلب مسلم او هكذا تشبه بالكفار؟

Dear prof,
The exam time runs through two prayer times (noon and afternoon) prayers. These are obligatory prayers in my faith. Kindly provide accommodation for me to either take a ten minute break to pray them. Otherwise, let me know if you prefer rescheduling the exam to another time.

شيخنا جزاك الله خيرًا ما هي الترجمة الأصح لـ: واجب، حرام، مستحب، يجوز، لا يجوز، مكروه، مباح..
وعليكم السلام، هذه كلمات عربية نزل الوحي فأعطاها معاني شرعية. مثلا، الفرق بين الفرض والواجب لغويا معدوم، لكن شرعا هناك خلاف في الفرق.
بالانكليزية ممكن تترجمها الى mandatory and obligatory، لكن الخلاف بين المترجمين في أيهما أي.
كذلك بين الحلال والمباح، هناك فرق في المعنى الشرعي، وترجمتهما على خلاف permissible and allowed.
والسنة والمستحب encouraged and Sunnah
والمكروه discouraged
لكن لاحظ، أن هذه الكلمات بالعربية اسماء، وترجمتها صفات، فيلزم تبيين الموصوف بالإنكليزية لو كان فعلا او قولا او نية.
فمثلا قولهم: فروض الوضوء ستة تترجمها the obligatory acts of wudu/ablution are six
لو اعدت ترجمتها للعربية اصبحت
الافعال المفروضة في الوضوء ستة
ولا يخفى انه ينبغي على المترجم أن يكتب مقدمة لعمله، يبين فيه المنهج الذي اتخذه في الترجمة، فمثلا ما لم يكن فائدة في ترجمته ترجمه لفظيا دون المعنى، مثل: Sunnah في ترجمة السنة التي هي الافعال التي حكمها سنة، و prophetic tradition في ترجمة السنة التي هي كل ما صدر عن النبي من فعل او قول على سبيل التعبد مثلا، على خلاف في التعريف عند اهل العلم. فأنت تلتزم في البداية انك تختار المعنى الذي قاله العلماء الفلانيون، وعلى اساسه لا يستطيع احد أن يلزمك بما لم تلتزمه.
كذلك الأمر في ترجمة نصوص الآيات، تقول مثلا التزمت ترجمة sahih international، وانقلها كما هي من طبعة كذا، فلا يستطيع احد إلزامك بخطا في تلك الترجمة.

I have a huge problem. I used to not care about money, it was the least important thing in my life. I wouldn't buy anything for myself while all of my friends enjoyed Dunya. I thought I was practising Zuhd but now the love for Dunya has entered my heart and I started envying even other muslims... :(
It is truly a huge problem, and greater than the majority of sins of the mouth and limbs.
There are two paths to cure your heart:
1. Reflection: on the consequences of every materialistic thing. The most expensive food ends in the toilet. The most powerful ruler ends up being eaten by worms. Use your time to reflect about the consequences of everything that enters your heart, and you'll be able to see beyond its false glow and glitter.
2. Observation: look at those who are around you who are less wealthy, have less materialistic gain, and yet surpass you in the purity of their hearts and content about their situation. Look at those who are wealthy and non stop complaining about everything. That will show you by experience that less is more, and materialism does not beget content.

I have a exam, it is going to last many hours. During the time of the exam.the prayer of Dhuhr has started. The Dhuhr in our country is only 2 hours. Should i start pray in the class during the test or sit and pray? The exam is like 3-4 hours with no pauses... a solution? dont want to miss salah
