I thought that a nursing baby's spitting is completely pure and not najasa. I didn't realize it required cleaning or changing. Can you clarify?

If it reached the stomach and back (i.e. curdled) then it's najis. Otherwise, if it's just the last bit in the mouth or throat then it's not najis, and Allah knows best.

Assalamu Alaikum Sheikh, my Egyptian friend is living Germany, how should he fast in ramadan if the day is very long? Can he fast like people living in KSA or what should he do? (we need the answer ASAP Jazaka Allahu Khairan)

Canadian and Scandinavian Muslims read this and be like: what a spoiled kid.
If the day has an identifiable sunrise and a sunset, then he must fast like other regular Muslims in his town.

as-Salam alaikum ustadh Majed. Can i send a pastebin-link of a question? I am asking on behalf of a friend of mine. Is it okay?

Really, pastebin, for a friend, anonymously. Can you be a little more vague?

Salaam Sheikh. What's the definition of a full time student of knowledge?

In western education terms: a full time student is attending a minimum of four weekly classes, or working 40 hours per week on research.
And how many students in those universities who are not real seekers of knowledge??
The definition, in the words of imam ash-Shafi'i, "This knowledge is dignified. If you give it some of your time, it will not let you earn any of it. If you give it all of your time, it will let you earn some of it."

So sheikh we shouldn't combine in 'hardship' every now and then? And what do you say about the Hadith of ibn Anas(ra) when he combined without an excuse? (I was taught)

The hadeeth is "Without rain and fear", it does not mean without an excuse.
Abu Musa alAshari narrated: combining prayers without an excuse is a major sin.
Umar bin And alAzeez said: no prayers can be combined except for a valid excuse.
Imam Ahmed said, commenting on the hadeeth of the prophet combining prayers for 19 days in Mecca "not everyone can understand this hadeeth"
A hardship is defined by terms of shari'a, not according to one's own liking. Otherwise, some people would combine prayers while waiting in line for the new iPhone.
Examples of hardship that counts as valid excuses which our scholars have stated, other than rain, travel and fear: a person with urine incontinence, a nursing mother of an infant who keeps spitting up (or throwing up), making it difficult for her to keep finding clean clothes for prayers. A surgeon who is conducting a lengthy operation for a patient, and the patient.
These are some of numerous cases which were confirmed by hanbali scholars to be valid excuses to combine prayers, contrary to the majority opinion which says otherwise.

AsalamoAlikum Sheikh, I was wondering if using a washing machine fulfills the requirements to clean najasah from clothes in place of 7 washes? From what I understand, Sheikh ul Islam had said that as long as the najasah is removed, the number of washes is irrelevant, but I want to check to make sure

The problem with washing machines is that the clothes aren't washed under a running flow of water. Rather, water gets filled into the tank with the clothes that have najaasah (spiritual filth: like blood, alcohol, etc) becomes najis, spreads the najaasah to all the other clothes, before it is flushed. The next load fills up, water becomes najis by touching the najis clothes, keeps moving the najaasah around, and so on. It's a problematic situation even in other mathaahib.

The mainstream opinion in our mathhab is that the clothes with najaasah must be hand washed seven times, with new water each time, this is for the hadeeth of Abdullah ibn Umar. Understandably it is a very strict opinion such that our scholars often redirect lay people to other opinions in our mathhab, or other mathaahib altogether.
Other opinions in our mathhab are: 3 times are sufficient (hadeeth of Abu hurairah), 1 time (hadeeth of Anas), and count-less (i.e. until no sign of najaasah remains). The latter is the choice of Sheikh ul Islam ibn Taymiyyah.
So even in the easiest of opinions in our mathhab, the najaasah - solid or liquid - must be spot-cleaned under running water before you insert the clothes in the washing machine.

Salam Sheikh, I'm not sure if you missed my question about Imam Muhammad University in Riyadh?

I'm not sure either. Have I not answered or misunderstood your question?

Al salamo 3lykom Sheikh. I work as a broker in real estate in Egypt. Some of the projects we work with are located in areas that have beaches. Is it a sin for me to help buyers who wants to buy in those projects knowing what happens on the beach

I'm not familiar with beaches in Egypt
Ask Sheikh @KareemAHelmy

You did not answer my question about reciting different verses from different qira'at from same surah in prayer etc. !! I am depressed, need a answer. Thanks

If you get depressed for a question that is not answered, I suggest you join a military boot camp.
The prayer isn't invalidated for switching between qiraa'at, given that you recite the verses that have a connected meaning in the same qiraa'ah. And since you're probably clueless about what that means, then don't switch between qiraa'at.

Sheikh you're truly an inspiration. What can I do to be more like you?

If you don't know me personally, then La hawla wa la qouwata illa billah. And if you do know me personally then inna Lillah wa inna ilayhi raji'oon.
There's enough disasters on earth because of one Majed, do not wish for a calamity to strike you.
If you want the hereafter, then your role model should be the Messenger of God, peace be upon him. God said: "indeed, a good example has been set in the Messenger of God for those who believe in God, the final day, and remembered God a lot." (33:21)

Assalamu'alaykum Ustadh when it is said that when writing Uthmaan RA mushaf, if they differed with Zaid Bin thabit, then they wrote in the qurayshi dilaect.. Does that mean different in wording/reciting or just the writing/spelling? Cause from my understanding all agreed onthe same recitation right?

The clerks differed on the word Taboot, is it written with an open taa or a closed taa
This would imply if you stop on it during recitation, do you say tabooh or taboot.
They went back to Uthmaan (r) and he said follow the dialect of Quraish, as the Prophet had indicated, so they wrote taboot. And they chose the Quraishi spelling for every other word they differed on, without going back to Uthmaan.

Do we need to remove earwax for ghusl to be complete?

If it's outside then yes. Anything that water can reach naturally (e.g. your earlobe), then barriers on the skin such as wax, dough, paint, etc, must be removed for the ghusl to be complete.
If it's inside the ear such that water doesn't get to it then you don't need to clean it for the ghusl to be complete.

Salam ya Sheikh. I heard that we can combine a prayers when not travelling if it's done in rare circumstances? If that is true, would it be allowed in the case of having an exam that spans over the entire span of Maghreb, and hence praying Maghreb and Isha together?

As long as you can be excused to go to the bathroom, you can defer the exam because another exam is in the same time, you can defer the exam due to sickness, then you don't have an excuse to combine prayers. All these excuses are less important than the prayer, and if can be excused for them, then you can be excused to pray.
This is coming from the most lenient mathhab in combining prayers, our scholars have stated eighteen valid excuses to combine prayers, and yet, this doesn't come near a valid excuse.
You may either pray then go to the exam a few minutes late, or inform the professor ahead of the exam you'll need to have a few minutes for the prayer.
It all starts from the belief that your prayers are more important, and more urgent, than worldly matters. If you chose to pray on time, and died in that hour, or that night, would you regret that choice?

2/2 when we say Quran and the 7 qira'ah are mutawatir, does that mean that the Quran and those qira'ah are mutawatir to the prophet ﷺ or is it mutawatir to the 10 famous qurra ( like hafs and aasim and so on) i.e where do these mutawatir chains end?

The ten qiraa'aat all have tawaatur all the way to the Prophet, as was reported by annawawi in almajmoo', aljazri in aljazriyyah, and alfutoohi in alkawkab almuneer.
