اذن الصحيح او الاقرب هو الدرجة 12 كما ذكرتم ؟

مقلتش كدة خالص. الصحيح تتبع الأذان عندك زيك زي المسلمين في مدينتك، لو عملت بحث وتبين لك خلاف ذلك فاعمل به لنفسك، لما يبقى عندك الدليل وطرق استدلاله صحيحة ونقض علمي لادلة الغير، يبقى تنشر مقالة في مجلة بحثية، ولما الفقهاء يقرروا في مجمع فقهي ان بحثك لو وجه، يبقى تروح تكلم الناس. أما الان = ففتنة.

السلام عليكم، شرح بعض الإخوة كلمة النمص عند الحنابلة وإن المحرم هو النتف وليس الحلق ولا القص وأن للمرأة أن تحلق أو تقص شعر وجهها للتزين فسأل كثير من الإخوة والأخوات عندنا في الغرب: فما هو حكم من تحلق شعر حاجبيها بالكلية ثم ترسمهما كما تفعل كثير من النساء هذه الأيام؟

Occasionally, yes. Always be most cautious around close non-mahram relatives.

بالنسبة لموعد الفجر، فاجابتك خاطئة. أحكام أهل الشمال تختلف، و لك أن تقرأ كلام أهل العلم اللي تحروه و تقرا كلام أهل الفلك خصوصا في الابحاث المقدمة لرابطة العالم الاسلامي. انت قياسك كده على زاوية ١٢ و ده له وجاهة في بلاد الشمال، لكن من استخدمها في بلاد المسلمين في الامساك أفطر قطعا.

ليست إجابتي خاطئة، وكلامي حصرا حول شمال امريكا، وبينت ان الحال عندنا يختلف عما هو بين المدارين وعند الافق. وقد رصدت الفجر في اكثر من ثلاثين موضعا خارج الحضر في امريكا وكندا من اقصى شرقها لأقصى غربها اي ما يجاوز الإثني عشرة ألف كيلومترا، واكثر من إحدى عشرة دائرة عرض، أي مثل ما بين الصومال وتركيا، على مدى اثني عشرة سنة. وقلت مرارا لا أريد أن أتكلم عن هذا أمام العامة بإيجاب ولا سلب لأن فيه فتنة للناس، وكان الأولى بك علما وأدبا أن تتهم فهمك بالخطأ يا أخي قبل أن تتهم به آخرين.

Does speaking in a sexual way over text nullify the fast?

No. However, if an arousal leads to a discharge then the fast is broken, and you're obliged to continue the fast the rest of the day without reward, then make it up another day.
You should focus on pleasing the Almighty, and less on yourself. Even if it was your own wife, the reward of the fast if decreased when occupying yourself and your mind with worldly desires.

while leading people in qiyam, is it permissible for the imam to hold a mushaf? and what about if one of the musallee's hold a mushaf in order to correct the imam if he errs?

Yes to both.
However, in hanafi matthab, either of these nullify the prayer, so please be considerate if there's a significant percentage of desi/Turkish people in the Masjid, at least they should know beforehand.

محسسني ان الفجر ده حاجة في علم الغيب.
يا راجل اطلع سفرة للبر يوم وشوف وقت الفجر على ١٨ وعلى ١٥ وصور الأفق ووريني الصور ونبقى نتكلم بعدها.

What difference does it make if someone else scans it for me for free?

The term of sale that the book is for personal use, and may not be copied or redistributed without permission. Someone scanning it and mass uploading will significantly harm the author and publisher who paid a lot of money to print those books.

ولكن فيه شروط لرصد أول ضوء مش بينفع تتعمل من المدينة, ولا حتى في مكان ترى منه أضواء المدينة وإلا هتلاقي تلوث ضوئي يؤثر في دقة التوقيت ... فهل رصدت بالشروط دي؟ لأن 15 درجة ده فرق كبير جدا :)

There shall be no confusion inshaallah. The first answer was to show the abundance of scholars who said it had a proof - to someone from the deniers camp. The second answer was to indicate the stance which I follow, that of our matthab regarding it. We have responses against the authenticity of these hadeeths.

هو لو مش مؤمن ان النبي اتم مكارم الاخلاق، وان اخلاق الاسلام هي اخلاق البدو، يبقى إما يرد عليه من له باع في فلسفة الاخلاق، او يدخل له من ابواب اخرى لإثبات كمال الشرع.

ايوة وفي ابحاث حديثة بترجح ان الارض هي مركز الكون 😃
القول ١٨ درجة تم اسقاطه تماما علميا، ومش بيبان الفرق عند اللي ساكن قرب الافق. هنا في اوتاوا مثلا في هذا الاسبوع الشمس تكون ١٨ درجة تقريبا تحت الافق الساعة ٢:٣٠ صباحا، ١٥ درجة تقريبا ٣:١٠ صباحا, ١٤.٥ ٣:٢٢، ١٢ درجة ٣:٥٠, واول ضوء ظهر لي كان تقريبا ٣:٤٨. فالقول ب١٨ درجة بعيد جدا هنا، وما ثبت خطؤه في مكان يثبت خطؤه في كل مكان.

I'm confused, if I buy eg. Ibn kathir vol 10 for £15, then since the copy is so big and I can't take it school, why can't I look at the off version? Isn't that like me taking a picture of the page then reading it

There's a person somewhere in the world who did an effort to take the PDF and prepare it to be sold as online version. That person did an effort (analogous to you taking a picture of each page) and that effort requires compensation.
You can buy the online version, you can scan the whole book (or pay someone to do it for you) or you can simply carry the book with you.

Is it appropriate to ask someone to make duaa for you?

I dislike it when it becomes a repeated insincere request among peers made at end of each conversation.
It is encouraged that you ask those whom you think their duaa will be responded to better than you. Like the traveler, and the righteous scholar.

how to pray salat-at-tasbeeh?

It's not a legitimate form of prayer in our matthab. There is not a single valid proof for it. Moreover, sitting after the second sujood before getting up to second raka'a for a lengthy pause breaks the prayer.

Is it okay if I download a pdf book to read in the train etc if I have paid for it full price and have the copy at home?

Ethically that's like stealing a book from a store in a mall because you forgot the same book at home.
Unless you know the authors/publishers permit that, it is not permissible. The two products are very different, and are sold usually separately with different price tags.

هي المصيبة كلها اساسا ان المعيار هو الثقافة الغربية، نفس المعيار اللي قرر بسببه هو يترك الاسلام لانه يتعارض مع الثقافة الغربية. عندنا حشود من المسلمين الجدد على نفس هذا النمط، الحل يكون بتعليمهم الإيمان والسنة، وليس الاسلام وفق المعايير الغربية.

ما رأيك في أبحاث المشروع الإسلامي لرضد الأهلة بخصوص مواقيت الصلاة؟ هم يرجحون 18 درجة للفجر وقريبا منها للعشاء في بحث مطول وأسندوا الكلام فيه إلى كل من الرصد البصري بشروطه الصحيحة وإلى أقوال المتقدمين من أهل الفلك المسلمين عن وقت الفجر ولهم برنامج لحساب المواقيت على موقعهم

18 درجة قول قديم وهو غير علمي. والناظر من مكة - او الاندلس (حسب ذاكرتي اول من قال بهذا هو البيروني رحمه الله) هم قريبون من خط الأفق ولا فرق كبير في الدرجات.
وثبت بالبحث العلمي ان ١٥ درجة للفجر والعشاء اقرب للصواب، واعتمدتها عدد من اللجان منها جمعية مسلمي شمال امريكا.
وهناك ابحاث تفيد ان ١٤.٥ و١٤ وحتى ١٢ هي درجات صحيحة لكنها ابحاث تمت من موقع واحد فلا يعول عليها حتى يتم التحقق منها في عدة دوائر للعرض
