بشكل بسيط
لم يصف الله به نفسه
ولم يصفه به نبيه
والدين قد اكتمل
فلا حاجة للابتداع

فالخلاف هو من حيث التقول على الله بغير علم
فلو قال فلان أن الله سبحانه وتعالى طيب الرائحة
لانكرنا عليه
ليس لأننا نريد إلا يكون طيب الرائحة
جل وعلا
ولا أن الرائحة الطيبة ليست صفة جميلة
ولكن لأن القائل خاض في وصف الله بدون علم
فكذلك الأمر في وصفه بأنه واجب الوجود

الله وصف نفسه بأنه الأول والآخر والظاهر والباطن
وأنه الخالق البارئ المصور
وأنه بما يعملون محيط

فلو تركنا هذه الأسماء وقلنا واجب الوجود

لقيل من أوجبه وكيف ومتى وأين
وصد ورد
وكلام كثير لا فائدة منه

كله بسبب أن فلانا من الناس لم يلتزم بما وصف الله به نفسه
وبما وصفه به نبيه

Is it haram to be a lawyer?

That is a disturbing line of thinking. To think, this is a non Islamic discipline hence it's Haram to be involved in it.

If that's the case, then it's also Haram to be a police officer, firefighter, paramedic, doctor, engineer, accountant, a cashier at a grocery store or every single profession in which you serve the public.

They will say: but as a lawyer, you will have to obey and work using non Sharia laws!

- So will you, if you worked as a doctor, engineer or in any discipline, there are codes and regulations in that discipline that are not derived from Sharia, some are in line with Sharia and others are in contradiction.

In fact, the mere living in any city on earth, including cities in Muslim countries, will involve obeying laws that are not derived from the Sharia.

So what do you do? Live in a cave? You do your best. The Prophet said: Be conscious of God, wherever you may be. The Prophet was a merchant, he dealt with non Muslims all the time in business, so did the companions, and the major scholars of Islam. But they never let their work interfere with their religion, nor they let anything take precedence over their faith.

If you're obliged, as part of your job, to follow rules that contradict your religion, such as to miss a prayer, or to not wear your religious attire, or to have business meetings over alcohol, or to sell pork, or to advocate for sins that are prohibited in your faith, then explain to your boss that you have this dilemma, and you can't do what your work is expecting you to do. The Prophet said: no creature may be obeyed towards the disobedience of the Creator.

In certain areas of the world, like Ontario, you have the religious freedom as an employee not to do something that opposes your faith, and your employer can't force you or fire you because of it.

إذا شعرت في طريقي لطلب العلم أنه باب صعب علي لدخولي الجنة لما يتطلبه من مذاكرة وجهد واستغراق اوقات كثيرة وأن للجنة طرقا أيسر تناسبني... كصلة الأرحام وبر الوالدين والاهتمام بالزوج ورعاية الأطفال وعيادة المرضى وقيام الليل والصدقات وغيرها لا يكفي الوقت لهذا أبدا ولا يخلو البال إن كان هناك وقتا ⌚⌚

صديق يعمل في احد المصالح الحكوميه.. وأسند اليه وفريق عمله ملف للحجز على اموال وممتلكات بعض الاشخاص..وغالبا ظلما.. ولكنه ليس صاحب قرار هو مجرد موظف..وسيتضرر وقد يرفد من عمله في حالة رفض العمل على ذلك الملف.. فما الحكم افادكم الله؟؟

Sheikh do you know of any reliable organizations that are working to help the Rohingya in the camps in Bangladesh that are taking volunteers? I can understand and speak both languages and am willing to give my winter break to help them iA. I just don’t know where to start

ابن القيم هو ابن قيم الجوزية، واسمه أبو عبد الله محمد بنأبي بكر بن أيوب بن سعد بن حريز بن مكي زيد الدين الزُّرعي ثم الدمشقي الحنبلي
من علماء القرن الثامن، من أهم تلامذة شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية رحمه الله.

و شيخ الإسلام ابن الجوزي هو أبو الفرج عبد الرحمن بن أبي الحسن علي بن محمدالقرشيالتيميالبكري الحنبلي، من علماء القرن السادس، من تلامذته: الشيخ الموفق ابن قدامة المقدسي، وعبد الغني المقدسي، وكلاهما من كبار أئمة الحنابلة.

كلاهما كانا من أئمة الحنابلة في عصرهما، وسجن كلاهما وأوذيا في محن عظيمة، وكان في وقتهم بركة، إذ عرف كلاهما بالتصنيف، بلغت مصنفات ابن القيم قرابة المائة، ومصنفات ابن الجوزي قرابة الثلاثمائة كتاب.

صنف كلاهما تصانيف عظيمة في الفقه والعقيدة والتصوف والسيرة والتاريخ واللغة. ولكن اشتهرت تصانيف ابن الجوزي الوعظية اكثر من غيرها من المجالات، واشتهرت تصانيف ابن القيم في الفقه والعقيدة أكثر من غيرها، وهذا من توفيق الله وحكمته يضع القبول في اشياء دون أخرى.

وينبغي على كل المسلم أن يحب علماء المسلمين ويتعرف على سيرهم ويقتدي بهم ويدعو لهم، نسأل الله أن يغفر لهم ويرحمهم وأن يجزيهم عنا خير الجزاء، وأن يجمعنا بهم مع المصطفى في مقعد صدق عند مليك مقتدر.

Shawkani was neither Sunni in aqeedah nor in Fiqh. He cursed companions of the prophet and ignored consensus rulings, and therefore should not be trusted with Fiqh opinions by the laity.

His works are great experimentation for the Fiqh student who wants to do a critique for his opinions.

Historically, cities became under Islamic rule in one of three situations.
1. Its rulers and/or its people voluntarily accepted Islam, and therefore joined the Muslim rule due to faith. Nearly half a billion people are Muslim today because their forefathers accepted Islam voluntarily, such Muslims in South and South East Asia. (Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Rakhan, Brunei, Uyghuristan, etc.

2. It's rulers/people agreed to enter into an allegiance with the Muslim dynasty, to receive protection and economic support in exchange of accepting a non aggression deal with the Muslims. Like the people of Palestine, Syria and Egypt, which explains why there are so many Christians who have been living there peacefully for over a thousand years.

3. They were in war with the Muslims and they were defeated.

In the third case, the people of the defeated city were divided into two categories: combatants became asra (i.e. captives) and non combatants became sabaaya (e.g. slaves).

The Muslim ruler could choose that the captives be set for free, in exchange of a ransom, or be executed. This is granted that they are not Muslim. If they accepted Islam then they must be set free.

As for the slaves; Islam wasn't revealed to enslave people, but rather to liberate them, as Rabey Ibn Amir, may God be pleased with him, said: "We were sent by God to liberate people from the opressive rule of people to the just rule of God, and from the narrowness of this world to the vastness of the hereafter."

Slavery was very trendy in the world, with anyone potentially becoming a slave if they were kidnapped or got lost. Islam prohibited all channels of slavery but the one through war, and limited it to one generation. A woman who is enslaved automatically becomes free when her master dies. Also, if she and her husband fall into slavery their marriage remains and may not be separated, and if she gives birth she gains most of her freedom immediately.

In 1945 Popper theorised that a limitless tolerant society will be destroyed by the intolerant minority. That has absolutely nothing to do with the tolerance of the Prophet towards ignorant people, and shows how little is your understanding, which is fine. If you were a normal person, I'd say go learn. But if you are suffering from deep psychosocial and antisocial issues, then there's really no hope except for a direct divine intervention to save you. I strongly recommend that you stay away from visiting a psychologist or a psychiatrist; you will just easily feed them the wrong information, and come out as a much worse person.

هو ابن عمه وصهره (زوج ابنته فاطمة الزهراء) واخوه في المنزلة ورابع الخلفاء الراشدين ومن العشرة المبشرين بالجنة.

ولد بعد عام الفيل بثلاثين سنة، وبسبب فقر ابي طالب وكثرة عياله، تكفل النبي بعلي وتكفل العباس (عم النبي) بجعفر، فنشأ علي في بيت النبوة. وهو أول من أسلم من الصبيان وثاني من دخل الاسلام بعد خديجة رضي الله عنها، كان عمره قرابة عشر سنوات عندما أسلم.

ومعرفة آل بيت النبي وحبهم والصلاة عليهم في التشهد الاخير من كل صلاة واجب على كل مسلم.
