13k plays isn't even close to a lot. Especially for a top 200 player.

I was pretty damn close to what I can currently do when i had 10-15k plays. It's enough to be pretty good if you used them well.

Have you any opinion on win10? Are you using it yourself? Is it worth getting the free upgrade? I'm a tech dork and in dire need of advice on this case, please help!

I use it. Windowed applications stutter a lot more if other windows or even the taskbar do some animation (relevant for osu!). Other than that I don't really have anything negative to say about win10, though.

Unfortunately the only way to combat nervousness is to get used to it. I played piano in front of audiences frequently for over a decade (with competitions giving the highest amounts of nervousness), which helped probably the greatest deal. And even then I still shake a lot when about to do good scores. Can't completely get rid of it.
For consistency in the absence of nervousness I recommend playing a lot of multiplayer and trying _really_ hard to win. You focus a lot more when you know there is only that one try to beat all the others. :)

You dont seem to play osu that much nowadays. Are you going to participate in OWC this year too? You simply were the MVP player of German team last year. You just outshined out of all those high ranked german players. It will be such a loss to german team if you dont play this year

I'll most likely play. Also it's not like the others played bad, the maps were just on a pretty easy level. My strengths are consistency, hidden and dealing with pressure, so such an OWC scenario is pretty much ideal for me. :P

Was the font used on the osu! website changed recently? It looks very different to me.

No change. Are you using a different browser? Different ways to render text do make a difference.

I sadly don't have any better explanation than what I already said. Since I don't have the issue myself I also have a hard time figuring out some other possible causes. :/
You may want to make a new post with all the details about the system you are running (OS, osu! settings, hardware etc.) in the help forums.

Constantly. Heck people even ask me account-related questions which I have absolutely no business with. :p

If you run osu! at unlimited FPS, there in theory could be additional stutters due to osu! hogging all the resources on your PC and thus stalling other processes. That'd be the only explanation I have for it. Don't experience the issue myself (also around 4-5k FPS, GTX 780ti).

The aim multipliers from AR above 10.3 and HD stack additively or do they multiply? I think they should stack additively if they don't already since HD doesn't increase in difficulty with higher AR.

All multipliers are multiplicative at the moment, but I agree with what you are saying.

is it possible to learn 10.3 and not ruin lower AR reading? Recently I tried learning AR10.3, and it ruined my AR 9 reading. After I went back to fix my AR9 reading, I couldn't read AR10.3 anymore

Just go back and forth often enough and you'll get used to it. Also playing easy helps getting used to playing lower ARs than you are capable of reading.

Are you actually only 21? You mentioned a master's thesis recently. But I guess you're just that smart.

I am 21. Maybe smart, but to a large degree it's actually doing things. I feel like laziness is what's holding most people back the most. Have to say I am lucky to have parents that spent considerable amounts of time to _make_ me do stuff while I was way younger, since I surely wouldn't have on my own back then.

I heard from Aqo that there will be new star rating system for mania , I was wondering when will the new star system be applied?

When it's in a ready state. Still needs to be polished and I am currently doing all kinds of things aside from osu!. (Having my girlfriend here, full-time work on master's thesis, learning for upcoming exams among other things.)

Hey, I've read several answers that you deny the fact that DT increases OD by 33%, but can you give the exact values double time affect OD? Because you and the wiki seem to have two different answers to that, thanks.

You would have different OD values depending on whether you care about 300s, 100s or 50s. DT literally makes the game mechanics 1.5x faster, which means that the actual hit window you have gets smaller by 2/3. You can only say "for having the same hitwindow when getting 300s, I would have to choose OD XX to match OD YY + DT".
I don't know these numbers by heart, so you will have to trust the wiki there. I believe it is based on the 300 hitwindow.

Currently players are limited by the number of high difficulty ranked maps. This is especially prevalent in mania where player's skills are way above the hardest ranked maps. Would you change it so every play will count? Do you think ranking criteria is too strict?

I don't keep track of the ranking process, so I don't have any opinion on ranking criteria. I think the issue will fix itself as harder maps get ranked and as soon as multiple scores per map are working, since then DT will properly reward pp.
