Why do people tend to quit osu! after they became quite good, rather than improving their skills more?
The better you are the harder it gets to get even better. Even maintaining your skilllevel requires a lot of playtime. (For instance I lost about 10-20 BPM overall by stopping to play several hours a day in just like 2 weeks.)
In consequence everything becomes more and more frustrating. That however is just my personal theory and experience. Can't speak for others.

From what I have heard (so I can't say for sure) he forgot his password and for some unknown reason he had no way to recover it. I personally don't believe that's the whole story though... Anyways, another thing I heard was that he made WubWubWolf to say goodbye to some people.

In the beginning when u was learning Hardrock, was it hard for u to adjust to that mod or was it pretty easy? I can't even do Hardrock on [Hard] (*｀へ´*)
Took some time until I got used to AR10. I never player HardRock without Hidden though... so in consequence I can read HD+HR better than HR only.
What was ur first programming language? Really wants to know it :D

What specific use does your calculator have? And what are going to use it for?
Do beatmap-rating better than star-rating. I only did the GUI / graphs to better analyze my results. I'm using it because I need to be able to test huge samples of beatmaps at once, the osu! SDK is insufficient for that.

Not even the slightest chance. I can barely A it... but never even thought about FCing the square patterns. Nobody comes even close to Cookiezi's snapping on high BPMs. Sometimes I think 220 BPM for him are like 180 for me, lol.

No, it's just a simple GUI and a little bit refined algorithm... didn't take more than a few hours. And yes, c++.

About half a year... never tried doing a #1 on an easier difficulty though. It was http://osu.ppy.sh/b/78045 HD DT.

I know that it's just natural, but I forgot how it got explained. Always hated biology at school. Rest is nearly always a good thing.
But Hidden is quite hard with high OD and AR, isn´t it?
The higher the AR, the easier HD becomes. I can read AR9+DT better with HD than without.
OD doesn't matter at all... you get good accuracy by either listening to the hitsounds, to the song, or to both.
