So let's clear something up, will the buff to high BPM streams apply strictly to PP gain, or will it impact the star difficulty system? I think it should be reflected in stars so it's easier to gauge a maps PP worth and keep OD as the only wildcard. BTW big fan of yours ever since OWC
It will be purely in the star difficulty and as a consequence also in pp.

In my opinion his scores on remote control and killer song are a lot harder than any of his HR scores
On another point, how much do you estimate Cookiezis airman score would be worth after the update?
And good fix btw, seems more balanced between DT and HR now
Aim-wise and speed-wise I'd agree that those 2 scores are better, but accuracy-wise some of his HR scores are just plain ridiculous. Just unreachable for most players on such demanding maps.
if the bonus begins linearly scaling at 10.33, but 10.87 and 11 give the same bonus as before, then does that mean there's a maximum high AR bonus, Since the rate it scales is faster now? (Higher slope).
If it weren't limited, then the new change would make 10.87 bonus less or 11 more?
Okay, to be 100%ly exact, AR11 is the same, AR10.87 is slightly lower.
it says on the changelog that ar10 does not give an aim bonus and it starts at ar10.33. why did ar10 get changed?
Jesus christ, please read the previous answers. AR10 did not get changed. The bonus STARTED at AR10, having an effect of magnitude 0 at exactly AR10. Not it still has the same magnitude at AR10 which is still 0.
On one of your answers, you said something about a bpm update? I personally don't think this would be a good idea considering some maps are naturally extremely high bpm (reiwai terrorism, with a dance number, no, 39, etc) i would only see this be a good idea if it would exclusively buff DT
I won't do something that arbitrary, don't worry. What I meant was to buff faster things in general disregarding the BPM that the mapper or the song maker set arbitrarily. That's how it already is done.
Oh yes I did answer this. http://ask.fm/Tom94/answer/125349087182 That answer is literally within ~10 answers of this one. Please don't make me answer everything multiple times in a row.
http://ask.fm/Tom94/answer/125358991566 so how did so many people in low ranks get more pp then without having a cs4.1+ HR score? your answer means that 'normal' (cs4) HR scores dont get any bonus from the update but it seems like they do. im confused.
so for example WWW's far east nightbird (cs 6.5) score went from 420 pp to 454 pp and his lovesick (cs 4) score went from 506 to 491. did nomod get 'nerfed' then since most maps are cs 4? which cs is equally weighted? 4.5?
No CS got nerfed. There is simply an added bonus applied to CS bigger than 5.2. That bonus starts out as 0 at CS5.2 and grows as CS grows.
I'm confused... my pp has increased, but the pp from my top ranks seems the same?
Your total pp updates when you make a score. Your best performance list only updates during the background update process which may take a few days to complete.
http://ask.fm/Tom94/answer/125353953230 Can't spaced streams and fast streams be rated equally? Each of them is hard in a different way, you can't say that one is harder than the other. One requires more speed, the other more aim. So in the end they should be about the same.
The goal is for them to be rated "equally". What I means is simply that right now very fast streams are underrated compared to spaced streams and need a small buff.
Need to make sure- if you play map with DT, the OD is higher not because the mod changes it but because OD is the hit window that when a map is played with DT it gets shorter by 33% so the practical OD is higher. For a bet. Tom pls.
Yes. Other things affected by OD such as how hard it is to spin are thus also not affected by DT.
so, sayo is actually more of a dt homie than hvick is, but your changes n shit actually slapped the fuck outta vicky and now sayo is the #2
what the hell nigga
Sayo didn't get re-calculated yet. He will drop, too.
'Make bonus for high approach rates start at 10.33 rather than 10'
This implies there was a bonus that used to start at 10, which now starts at 10.33. HDHR is 10, so it would logically follow that a bonus which used to exist for it no longer does.
i no u no wat u did, jst pointing out wt ppl thnk
It is / was a linear bonus starting at 10. Linear scaling at the starting point is 0. :P
