I've been thinking on how to measure difficulty of patterns. Perhaps something to do with how much the cursor speed and angle between 3 consecutive notes changes? Also, how far the angle between 3 consecutive notes differs from 0 or 180 degrees might factor into their difficulty.

I've thought about that, too.
In fact, you probably have no idea how much I thought about all kinds of ways it might work. But I'm not yet completely convinced by one. Be patient. :>

Does tp account for required stamina? More notes and faster notes between breaks = harder to do well

Of course.

About the coordinates thing: I'm not asking to tell me how exactly is, but since it looks like you know how it works, some tips or some online article (math formulas, idk) would be appreciated~

I can't recall any online article about it. And I don't have any way to display the ratios properly here, you gotta try it out yourself, it's just basic Math. :P

What is the login information that the site asks when you press summit an unranked map? I don't find anything to subscribe...

It's only for people that I personally trust and give an account to. Your osu! account will not work, but don't worry, even if you tried using it, it isn't logged, so nobody will know it.

How are coordinates in .osu files related to screen resolution/osu! resolution?

Complicated conversion... since there are lots of offsets involved. But apart from that it's just linear scaling.

what does "speed" mean? does it include stamina aswell? does accuracy affect speed?

It means how physicly demanding a map is in terms of speed. It also includes stamina, yes. Acuracy affects speed very little, that is to compensate for being able to stream a bit slower than necessary to full 300 and still FC.

If you're efforts are being rejected so stiffly why have you continued to develop the diff calculator/tp system?

Because I'm one stubborn lad. And also because while the staff might reject it, many people also appreciate and like it. I'm doing it for the community after all, not for peppy.

whats the difference between aim and acuraccy? sorry im noob xD

Aim corresponds to cursor movement and accuracy corresponds to how accurate you click in regards to the timing. (Accuracy does -not- mean how accurate your cursor movement is, it solely relates to timing!)

Mind removing Apron (Clementine) from your database ? I mean, he was banned several times for cheating + he admitted

Do you have any concrete proof that he indeed is Clementine?

Would you like to change country?

I can't say that I have it bad in Germany, but I'm planning to move to Switzerland.

are you going to have rankings for aim/acc/speed? (like really fast access instead of manually having to look)

It's planned. There are also banners planned which display those values.

Do you agree with the top 10 players in the tp rankings?

Assuming they all are legit: Yes. Some of them would be exchangable with others, but not to a big extent... and their skilllevel would be so similar that it doesn't invalidate the current order. Just my personal opinion though.

Could you do some kind of country ranking? Like, what country has the most accuracy tp and so on.

Just hover over the country icons in player rating. Countries are already sorted by their rank.

Can you add the option to sort beatmap difficulty based on the speed level/jump level just like what you do with the aim/speed/acc thing? (just a suggestion though, feel free to ignore this)

Just change the ratio to 100:0 or 0:100.

will you continue to use accuracy to scale speed/aim now that accuracy is implemented as an independent calculation?

Only by an extremely little amount, that means having 50% accuracy would decrease your speed/aim value by about... 2.5%.
The only purpose this serves is to accommodate the ability to press late on purpose to do hard jumps, or to FC streams with 100s by being a bit slower.

I think FL should be counted farcless than DT or HDHR, unless the map is over 3 minutes.

I think that even if you completely memorize the map FL this is harder than HD. Not going to change my opinion on that. Regarding HR and DT... did you see a single FL score on a remotely hard map that was worth more than DT or HR? I doubt it, and if yes the HR or DT score probably sucked big time. The only places where FL would be worth more is on very easy maps where HR or DT doesn't add a lot of difficulty.

cookiezi has an accumulated tp score of like 10 000 but it only shows he has 3600 tp??

I explained this often enough on this page already. I won't answer any further question regarding the matter, read the answers, guys!

Can you add a formula for tp so that the pass rate/median accuracy is taken into account?

lilytheloli’s Profile PhotoDENGYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
No, since tp is supposed to be a heuristic approach, not a statistical one. Apart from that pass rate and median accuracy both say very little about the person's skill. You can have a high pass rate and great median accuracy if you only play easy maps.
Regarding map-specific pass rate: Good players don't play hard diffs or easier ones a lot, so the pass rate on those often is lower than the pass rate on insanes.

steelseries 6gv2 red vs yours?

Reds are probably better, even though I can't say for sure since I've never felt reds.

would you say that you are still as good as a player as you were in your days as tom94/tom69? so much as(s)

Nah. Especially my high AR reading and speed went downhill when I stopped playing 5h+ every day and HD+HRing every single map.

Wouldn't it be more significant if the accuracy values took into account OD (and if it already does, maybe give it a little more weight)? Because as it stands it is misleading IMO, giving people who are not really more accurate than others (just playing lower ODs) higer accuracy stats.

They don't. However OD wasn't properly taken into account in the (very little) acc scaling of speed and aim. This is fixed in the next update.
