Hi! May I ask what are unrestricted electives? Will the grades be counted in our CAP and if so are we able to S/U the grade?

Hi! They are electives that you can take in any faculty with the exception of med and law.
Yes, the grades will be counted in your CAP and the ability to S/U the grade would be dependent on the module chosen :))

Hi! Most students map 3101 overseas as some students stated that it is one of the harder modules :)

Usually, when do biz students apply for internships?

Hi! Students apply whenever they want :) However, we highly recommend Year 2 Summer :))

Hi, lets say you have a lecture slot at a particular time and day. Could you still ballot for a tut slot during that time(the lecture is webcasted, so its ok if its missed)? or will the system not allocate it to you? Thanks

Hi! The system will not allocate you the tutorial if it clashes with a lecture slot that was allocated to you :)

Do we have to wear formal wear to every ES2002 class?

Hi! Nope, just for presentations :) However, please still do dress presentably :))

When will the appeal results be out?

Hi! With respect to the appeal results, as appeals have to go through the relevant faculty office, it may take a few days for the email with the results to be sent :) We are currently not sure of the exact date!

For this semester, it would be 18MCs. However, we are still not sure if it will change in the future :)

If I plan to take Hons with double specializations, will I have spare UEs to take other faculty mods or will I have to use all of my UEs to fulfil the second specs requirements?

Hi! You would have 2 more UEs (8MCs) to take other faculty mods as the second specs requirement would only be using 6 UES (24MCs) :)

Hi, regarding the bidding for ES1103, since after all the changes in system, we can only bid for round 3 and for any class, including non-B classes. This means in round 2 non-biz students could also bid for B-classes and thus we are actually put at a disadvantage, is it correct?

Hi! Due to the changes in the bidding of ES1103 for Business students, in round 3, students will now be able to bid for Non-B classes also :) Please appeal for the module in CORS if you are unable to secure the class for ES1103 :)) Hope this helps!!

yesterday I bid for a UE and when bidding closed, the bid was still accepted but I was not allocated the module today. Is it cuz I alr have 6 mods allocated (total of 20MCs, cuz one of them is 0MCs). Is this considered overloading and who do I contact to get the mod?

Hi! CORS will allow a student to bid up to 27MCs automatically in Round 3. Hence, for the above matter, please approach the BBA office to look for Mr Thomas Low or Mr Kelvin Tan regarding this matter :)

Hello, may I apply to underload in Y2S2? Is the reason of working for financial support and busy with commitments legitimate?

Hi! Exceptions to the 18 MCs minimum workload will be considered on a case by case basis such as for 2nd year students who have accumulated greater than 40 MCs. Please write to the office regarding your situation and please detail how you will be able to graduate on time (i.e., within 3 years for 120MC programmes and 4 years for 160MC programmes), despite falling below the minimum workload required.

Hi! All specializations are only shown in the transcripts, regardless of whether the student is BBA or BAC :)

Hi, where do I go and have copies of my CCA records endorsed as 'certified true copy'? I was under Bizad Club last year, do I head to BBA office? For sports club, do I have to go and ask the sports club to endorse it separately or BBA office can help with that? Thanks!

what is the MC to be considered overload?

Overloading is more than 27MCs :) Students who wishes to read more than 27MCs (~>6 modules) should seek approval from the Assistant Dean at bizad1@nus.edu.sg Even with approval, the 6th and 7th (or more) modules can only be added/bidded at and after Round 3. :))
