Why is it that long term CIP (1 point regardless of duration) is given so few SEP points as compared to long term cca commitment (5 points if more than 2 weeks)?

Hi, Sorry, for matters on SEP Grading system, this is set by the BBA Office. Thus, we are not really sure the reasoning on the above matter. However, if you would truly want to know the reason behind this, you can contact Ms Jessie Toh in the BBA office :) Hope this helps!

What's the difference between BAC and BBA? I can't decide which one to choose!

Student studying the BBA programme will have free range to choose their specialisation from the specialisations provided (eg. Marketing, Finance..)
Students studying the BAC programme are studying the BBA programme with an extended accountancy component.

Hi, for Acc (Hons) students, do they take the additional 20 MCs of UE mod in their final year?

Hello! Once the student has got the BBAH or BACH code, they can start reading modules to satisfy the Honours requirements, provided they had met the modules’ requirements.

Am I right to say that BSP2001, DSC2008 and ACC2002 are note preallocated?

Hi! These modules will be pre-allocated in Year 2 but the baskets will not be disclosed until the beginning of Year 2 :)
The Year 1 students can still bid/ appeal for these modules if they have completed the module requirements :)

Hello! What are the mods available for SU in y2?

Hi! For the S/U policy, the S/U option will apply to all Level 1000 modules (with or without pre-requisites) and Level 2000 modules without other NUS modules as pre-requisites. The floating S/U's can only be used on non-business modules :) Hope this helps!

Do we need to declare our specialisation first before taking any spec modules? If I haven't done so but I am going for SEP next sem, can I map back the specialisation modules I take overseas?

Hello! Students don’t have to declare their specialization before taking specialization modules but it is encouraged as it helps with the appeal process as well as module quota planning process for the next semester.
With respect to the mapping of modules, there are no restrictions to map back specialization modules as of now. Students will just have to meet the requirements set by the SEP University to read the module(s) there.

Hi if I would like to take a second specialisation, can I map all 6 of the required modules overseas or is there a minimum number of modules that I have to clear in Singapore?

Hello, may I know where I can find more info about talks that give SEP points? I thought I'll receive emails about those talks, but so far I have not been receiving any.

Hi! Advanced Placement Tests are tests for incoming freshmen before matriculation! Thus, it will not be possible for you to take for Year 2 Sem 1.

Hi There! A D+ will be considered unsatisfactory under the S/U system. The D+ will be counted towards your CAP, however, no modular credits will be given towards the certain module. This would mean that the module would have to be retaken if needed. Hope this helps!

Advance placement tests are for students before they matriculate into NUS Business School. The information tested is very broad so you should read up on information wider than just the A level syllabus. With respect to eligibility for advance placement test, please go to the NUS BBA website :)

What are the preallocated modules for Year 2 BBA? Do we bid for only GEMs in Year 2?

Hi! The pre-allocated modules are
- FIN2004 FINANCE
- BSP2005 ASIAN BUSINESS ENVIRONMENTS
- BSP3001 STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT
- MNO2007 LEADERSHIP AND ETHICS
- MNO2009 ENTREPRENEURSHIP (Accountancy students are exempted)
and Yes, you would have to bid for GEMs in Year 2 :)

What is the average CAP Score that BBA students graduate with?

Hi! On average, about 70% - 90% of BBA students can proceed on to honours :) This means that they have a minimum CAP of 3.2. Regarding the CAP they graduate with, we do not have any stats on this :)

Hello, can ES2002 be S/Ued? I understand that it is a mod with prerequisite - some students have to take another English mod before taking this

Yep! There is also Year 3 Sem 2 :)

Hi, you should do so as early as you can. Just approach the BBA office to let them know. The ability to switch to accountancy would be determined by your CAP :)

Hi, is being bizad photographer considered a cca ? Like the events I go will be recorded in cca transcript ?

The events would not be recorded in the CCA transcript, however, you will have sep points allocated to you :)
