Hello, may I know how do I find people who are interested in swapping timetables? I'm not coming for o week :(

Hi there! there's no official portal for finding people who are interested in swapping timetables so you would have to ask around :( However, what you can do is go down to BBA office at the CORS helpdesk at the front and then tell them that you wish to swap and write down your name! If they have any incoming requests that could tally with yours, then they would be able to swap accordingly.
Goodluck!

Do i have to bid for tutorial for sectional teaching?

Hi there nope :) Sectional teaching refers to seminars, there is only 1 seminar per class every week!

Why does my friends have different core modules allocated? Does each person have different core modules given to them and subsequently rotated amongst everyone?

Hi there yes everyone has different baskets, following which they are rotated amongst everyone in year 1 :)

hi there i am already allocated 4 modules. that means i have to bid for the 5th right? does the 5th (GEM) need to also be from biz school or is any school fine?

Your 5th GEM Module can be from any school! :)

I have been preallocated 2 seminar teaching, 2 lectures and 1 GEM (on sunday). May i know if im required to bid for anything? Secondly for the balloting of tutorials, do i need to ballot for all 5 and do they use any bidding points?

Hi there! You wont have to bid for any modules :) However, you would need to ballot for yout tutorials for your lectures! Those do not require any bidding points. We would explain during O'Week how it works!

Is it possible to check the avaliable tutorial timeslots before the balloting round?

Hi there! You may use nusmods to check what are the available tutorial slots (:

for the allocated GEM module, can i choose the tutorial to be at any location? e.g COM2 or do i have to ballot for those at BIZ2?

Hi there! You can ballot for any slot you want wherever you want (:

Hi! May I know what's th smart casual outfit for camp used for? (Eg going out of school for a mission, group dinner outside) Wanna dress appropriately that's why. :)

Hello! Its for the O'Week finale which will be outside school, so dress comfy but look good! A summer dress for girls and a shirt + jeans/ trousers for guys will be fine!

Hi! for o week, what is the smart casual dress code for?

hello! is there nightwalk for o'week camp? is it possible to skip the whole horror movie watching and just go for the nightwalk only? or is it possible to skip both if we are very uncomfortable with it? managed to skip this in my poly cca camp and hoping i will be allowed to skip it this time too:)

Hi! There is no nightwalk for O'Week. In any case, should you feel uncomfortable with any activity in the midst of O'Week, please do let your OGLs know and we'll have you sit out of the activity :-)

Hi, may I know what's the Precamp schedule like? Is it fine to go in a clan coloured tee, FBT shorts and sports shoes? I'm assuming we will be doing sports or something in school for now that's why. Thanks!

what does ERC-SR10 means?

It refers to the venue of your classroom (: ERC refers to the Education Resource Centre and the S10 probably refers to the seminar room in that building (:

how do i know if my bid for the module is successful ?

You would get an email with the results to your NUS Email at the end of the Round, usually around evening time (:

Hello! ? I'm an incoming freshie, I've already been allocated 4 modules. But under the selected modules, do i have to 'add a new module' ? I'm pretty clueless as to whether i have to bid for my 5th module in round 1c now? Or only when round 2A begins do i bid for me 5th Gem module on the 3th aug?

Hi there, welcome to biz Sch! (: don't worry you have to only bid for your 5th module which is a GEM on Monday, first day of O'Week!
During pre camp on Saturday, we would be teaching you how to bid and what you would have to do (:

Can i schedule my lessons to be back to back? For example : ACC1002 lecture is 10-12pm @ LT-17. then ACC1002 tutorial is 12-1pm @ BIZ2-0301. Is this ok? like is there buffer time for the lecture/tutorial to start?

Hi yes you can, usually lectures end 30 mins earlier then their stipulated time and tutorials should end 15 mins before their stipulated time as well (:

what would happen if i use up the bid points in my general account (249pts) for the ES1000? Will the system top up the points in my general account in next sem?

Hi there, every semester your G account gets 350 points regardless of whatever you do with it (:

Hi! Sorry but just to confirm, for a freshman that does not require QET and is not in DDP, I do not have to do any bidding on CORS tomorrow at Round 1C, and just need to wait to bid for GEM next week. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi there yes and yes (: If you're come down for O'Week this Saturday we would be explaining more and teaching you guys as well on how to bid! (:

hi there where can i find which modules i am allocated and also the timetable? thanks!

Hi there! You can login to CORS right now (do it like right now before the portal closes) and click timetable on the left to see your classes (:

Hi, i just added the ES1000 module. Do i have to do anything under the bidding management tab ?

Hi! Bidding management is where you have to adjust the bid points.
However, if the module is not available for bidding this round then you can only bid for it in subsequent rounds (:

Hi, after i added the ES1000 module. It appeared under the "Module not available for bidding in current round" section. Do i have to do anything ? like add bid points or anything?

Hi there, if that's the case, it means that the round has been locked and is not available for bidding this round (:
Please try again during Round 2A and 2B next week to bid for that module! (:
