Y2S2 applications have already closed. If you apply in the next application window, it will be for Y3S1.
As a year 2 BBA student, is there any advantage to taking FIN2004 in Y2S1 as compared to taking it in Y2S2?
More people want to take FIN2004 in Sem 1 as it is a prerequisite for specializing in finance. This way, they may proceed with their spec mods faster than if they were to take FIN2004 in Sem 2.

Hi, are there any ways to change the lecture timings if it is pre-allocated for freshmen?
Lecture timings are actually flexible, that is, you may go for any lecture timing that is convenient for you :) Tutorials however, are strict in timing as attendance and class participation may be taken. Tutorial timings have to be balloted after bidding ends.

No, you don't have to fill that in.

BAC students only have UEs and GEMs as non-biz mods to fulfil :)

Hi! We aren't sure of this ourselves, but we believe you may need to bid for it in Y3 as Y3s are not usually preallocated any modules. However, you should file an appeal in CORS to take it this semester to save your the trouble!
Hi, to mutual swap all my classes, do i have to go down to the office with the person i am swapping with or i can just send an email?
You may just send an email. We are unsure if it helps the BBA Office to visit them with the person you're swopping with, but you may try as well.
Please do note that emailing the Office to request for a swop of baskets may not necessarily be successful as there have been many students indicating interest to join the FIN2004 basket and it may well be oversubscribed.

Hi! May I know when will the timetable for BBA freshmen be out? And by preallocated modules, you mean the school will tell us which lecture and tutorial slots we have to attend right?
Your timetable will only be confirmed once you have registered / balloted for your tutorials for ALL of your modules. The current timetable will be available on CORS on the 21st of July, or even now, if you use myISIS and NUSMODS to help you. And yup, preallocated mods have stipulated timeslots for you as well.

Anytime is fine, but do note that it is a core module and so its best that you clear it ASAP, especially if there is no reason for you to delay :)

Hi there, you should have been pre-allocated your core mods so you shouldn't have to bid for them. But if you do, then yes, you can bid during 1A. We are not sure is ES1102 is available for bidding in 1A, but you can try your luck and see if it is!

Nope, 1C is only for core mods, which is why freshies don't have to bid.

What are UEs and GEMs?
UEs are known as unrestricted electives and are modules can biz students may take that belong to any other faculty e.g. science, arts. UEs will also be used to count for the second specialisation if you choose to take a double spec.
GEMs are general education modules offered by NUS and do not belong to a select faculty. each student (not residing in residential colleges) are required to take 5 GEMs throughout their undergraduate courses :)

The choice is entirely up to you! You can bid for a spec mod, GEM, or UE. UEs are only considered as spec mods if you are a BBA student taking a second spec, OR if you are a BAC student taking a second spec (that is not accounting).

It is alright, but it will affect your timetable as Y3 onwards is when most people will start taking their spec mods. You might have to overload if you are taking a GEM. If you are fine with overloading then it's perfectly okay!

Hi, you can bid for the remaining, or appeal through CORS (when it opens) for a core module of your choice :)
Which round can we do mutual swop? Is it before the bidding of GEM modules?
Mutual swops can be done at any time as long as you approach the BBA Office together with your mutual swop partner! But it is highly recommended that you complete it as fast as possible :)
