Hello, i'm a freshie and for sem 1 i was pre-allocated 5 mods (total 16mcs) and i need to bid for my eng & GE mod. That would be 24mcs, is this overloading, if yes do i need to contact anyone in order to overload?
Hi there, freshies cannot overload in Y1S1! You can only do so from Y1S2 onwards :)

Hi, we are unable to advise you on this as biz undergraduates use all kinds of laptops and there is no specific type that is favoured. However, you may want to consider a Windows laptop instead as for one of our modules you will need to download SAS, and it makes for a much more tedious process to downloading if you're using a MacBook.

Hi! I'm a little confused about my timetable because I used nusmod to create my timetable but it doesn't tally with the timetable given to me on the CORS website! May I know which one is the correct timetable? Also are there lectures on Sunday cos the CORS timetable says I have one on Sun ? Thanks!
As far as possible, you should follow the CORS timetable. However, your timetable your created on nusmods will definitely be a match for your CORS timetable since nusmods lists all available sectionals, lectures and tutorials. Hence, you have most likely made an error while creating your timetable.

No, your OG will remain the same despite your change.

You will be classmates with your OG mates mostly for sectionals, but not necessarily for tutorials!

BSP2005 will be allocated in Y2, and BSP3001 will be open for bidding among Y3 students! It will not be preallocated to you.

You should probably take it next semester as you will be overloading if you do so this semester :)

All those not selected for O'Week will be seated in another lecture theatre where you will view the academic talks through a live video feed :) We apologise in advance that we are unable to plan any further activities for you as we have logistics constraints.

Hi! GER1000 is not necessarily preallocated to all BAC students; half the student population (both BBA and BAC) will be preallocated with GER1000 in Sem 1 and the other half will read it in Sem 2!
Just to clarify. Our modules have been allocated for us already, so we don't need to participate in Round 1C at all. Do we still need to go into the portal to do anything?
You don't have to! Even if you have to bid for a GEM, you can do so in later rounds after precamp! Don't worry about bidding freshies :)

These will be briefed to you during precamp. Your timetable may still change (because of tutorials), but your sectionals should already be fixed :)

Hi, I'm a year 2 BBA student. I'm preallocated 3 core mods (FIN, BSP, mno2009) and would like to ask do most y2 students bid for 2 more gems or one additional core mod + one gem? Is it better to bid for 2 more gem since its recommended that we clear it before y2?
There are a fair number of students who bid for both combinations you have stated, but it is recommended that you take 2 GEMs as it is an NUS requirement to complete all GEMs by Year 2.
