Hi! Can I ask if O'week is only for freshmen who are staying on campus because I'm staying off campus and not receiving any email or news about it?

Hi, O'Week is for all freshmen staying in campus and out of campus. The news of it was disseminated through our NUS Bizad Club Facebook page, and you will only receive email notifications if you applied :) Sign ups are entirely voluntary, so the onus is on you to register yourself!

Hi! I'm a BBA student and have been allocated 5 modules worthing 20MCs. The max no. of MCs for a single degree student is 23MCs. So am I allowed to overload for Y1S1 cos I want to bid for another mod of 4MCs?

You may overload and you can bid for your 6th module from Round 3 onwards!

Hi, they usually map biz core mods such as BSP2001, MKT1003, some MNO mods as well as their UEs :)

You may write an email to Ms June Tan of the CSO, or you will likely be allocated in Y3S1 since you are going for exchange!

How will the freshies be sitted during the pre-camp? By classes or random?

You will be seated according to your OGs and clans! Your OG mates will be your classmates for at least one semester :)

Hi, I am a Y1 freshie. If I were to swop my entire module basket, must I find a mutual swop partner? Also, I heard that for O'week we will be grouped according to our classes. But if I were to change my entire module basket now, will it mean that none of my OG mates will be in the same class as me?

You don't need to find a mutual swop partner, but yes, the OG list is already out so if you swop your OG mates will no longer be your classmates.

Nope, all undergraduates must take a minimum of 5, and usually a maximum of 6-7!

Hello, a current Year 2 here! I've been allocated BFS Personal Development & career management II in Y2S1. However, this allocated sectional clashes with my GEM lecture timing. Just to check, can i drop BFS lesson & take another sem? Do we have to clear all BFS lessons by year 2?

Hi, you cannot drop your BFS just because it clashes with your GEM. Please email Ms June Tan of the CSO to request for a change in your BFS timing. And yes, you have to clear it by Year 2 :)

You should appeal through CORS and state your reasons for wanting to drop :)

Could you tell me about the Swimming Declaration? Because it is mention that we are going to swim on 50m depth

The declaration is only an precaution because we have beach games and you may be in shallow parts of the water :) You won't actually be swimming at 50m depth!

If I want to appeal for FIN2004 as it's not allocated to me this sem, when can I appeal? And what is the appeal type? How is the workload for this mod too?

You can appeal today (when CORS is open)! You may use the reason 'Encountered problems when bidding for module'.

All tutorials will be with the same classmates?

Nope, your tutorial classes will be balloted so different people will end up in different classes and you won't necessarily be with your friends.
