After you find someone to swop, the both of you should approach the BBA Office to request for a mutual swop :) You may refer to the instructions in the CORS email sent out, if you have received it.
Hi! I'm a Y1 going Y2 & I've a qns abt core modules allocation. On IVLE, it shows that MNO2007 is allocated to me (under class B). But on myISIS (check exam schedule), MNO2007 wasn't shown. Does this mean I'm not allocated MNO2007? Thank u!
You may want to call up the BBA Office to check on this! It's likely that there has been an error so it's best if you notify them about it :)

Hi, if you're a freshie, you're unlikely to have received the email. But if you are a Y2 and haven't received the email, please contact the BBA Office (look for Thomas Low Joon Kiat) to enquire about the CORS email.

Hello! You should go for MS Excel lessons as there will be quite a few modules that require you to have a decent background of Excel. Of course, it is taught during some of our modules, but it will be better for you to have background knowledge of it :)

It depends on how well you manage your time :) There is quite a sizeable number of freshmen and seniors taking on part-time jobs! The workload should be manageable if you're not overloading :)

Yes, that will be the case :) Tutorials usually end 10-15 minutes before time, and sectionals and lectures usually end 15-20 minutes before time.

We do not know the exact figures, but approximately, in every 10 students there will be 6 BBA students and 4 BAC students :)
What's the difference between sectional teaching and lecture?
Sectionals are 3 hours long and most have at least 30% class participation for Y1 classes. You will be required to speak up during class and actively contribute to class discussions. You may also be required to read up on your textbook / readings before coming into class.
As for lectures, these are usually 2 hours long and there is no class participation. You need only to listen to your lecturer speak about the content of your syllabus; however, you may also ask questions during lectures.

Hi, it is possible to bid or appeal for ACC1002, but we highly recommend you to bid for your GEM instead, as if you do not take a GEM in your first semester, it is highly likely you will have to overload in order to complete your GEMs by the end of Year 2. It is also possible to take all of your modules, adding on both ACC1002 and another GEM, but we also highly advise against it as the marketing basket it very project and time-intensive. Overloading will not be a good idea.

Hi, you cannot swop modules, only entire baskets or sectional timings. There isn't a deadline, but you should definitely get it done as soon as possible!

If you are an accounting student, all 3 will be available for appealing :)

You should bid for it in Round 3 only since you will be overloading with your extra GEM. Only core mods can be appealed, so you have to bid. And yes, the email has been sent out!
