Is the BFS1001 Sectional Teaching conducted every week? Under the timeslot, it only states week(s): 7,8,9,10,11,12,13.
Each sem, half the cohort that is pre-allocated BFS will be further split into half, so one half takes BFS for the first half of the semester and the second half takes BFS in the later part of the semester :) BFS only lasts 7 weeks!

You may declare at the start of every sem when CORS opens :) But there is no real 'need' to do it though.

Not necessarily :) You can take 2 GEM mods and 3 core mods in any one semester, so you wouldn't have to overload.

Hi I am currently going to Year 2 and I was not pre allocated with BFS2001 this coming sem. Is there a way to appeal for me to take it this coming sem then in sem 2 as I may be on an internship attachment?
Hi, to take BFS2001, please email June Tan of the Career Services Office and request to take the mod! You don't have to appeal :)

You can use myISIS (under View my Exam Schedule or View My Modules) or CORS on the 21st of July.
Why do some students get pre allocated 4 mods while some has 5?
The fifth mod should be BFS1001. This is a 0MC mod which means even if you are preallocated this mod, you will still have to bid for another module on your own. Each sem, half the Y1 batch will be allocated with BFS and next sem, the other half will then take BFS.

It should be updated by the end of the day, or if not, give it 1-2 days. If by then it is not updated, to contact the BBA Office to check.

It refers to the tutorial or lecture slot you have. Use nusmods.com to help you visualize your timetable and you'll see what we mean.

Hi, the BBA Office is not likely to allow you to drop any core mods for the purpose of mapping it overseas as you may run the risk of not being able to map it eventually, and that will delay your completion of core mods and it will be problematic for the staff. But if you are very, very confident that you will be able to map FIN2k4 overseas, then by all means, please enquire with the Office.

Lecture timings are flexible and you may attend whichever lecture you want (for Y1 lectures) so there's no need to swop!

Nope, that is not likely to be possible from prior experience. However, you may still try to ask the BBA Office if it's possible, they usually accede to some requests under their discretion.

This is completely normal. If your 5th mod is BFS1001, you will still need to bid for another module when the time comes as BFS is a 0MC module.

You will need to email the Office and list the name and matric number of the person you're swooping with, as well as your sectional timing. It'd be good to cc your 'partner' too. However, the Office may request that both of you personally make a trip down to swop.

You are likely to be allowed, provided that you complete your honours degree, specs and minor within 5 years max. Please do enquire with the BBA Office, who will be able to give you more specific advice :)
