If you want to go for NOC, you should apply for the Y3S1 window so that you can clear most of your accounting modules. Please clarify your timetabling matters with the NOC admin staff!

If an exam overlaps with sectionals of another mod, do you skip that sectional lesson and do a makeup?

You need to inform you tutor about it and attend another makeup sectional. However, it is unlikely that your exams will clash with a sectional as during exam periods after Reading Week there are no more lessons.

Hello, is it okay to travel to KR > D2 to Biz School instead of taking MRT to HPV & take any bus? Will the crowd for the shuttle bus be really bad?

It depends on the time, but usually people get off before or at the opposite KR stop so taking D2 should be okay!

Do we need to do a mutual swap for a change in lecture timeslot like sectionals? I heard from seniors that we can just attend the alternative lecture slot if we are unable to make it for the preallocated slot as attendance is not taken. Is it true? Thanks!

There is no need to swop lecture times.

Is it necessary to get all the textbooks for the core mods? Or will the notes given suffice for some of them?

Notes given by your tutors will be enough for some modules. Do check with your tutor for specifics.

Y4S2 will be too late to do your honours projects. Students usually start at the end of Y3 or the start of Y4.

You will be penalised for class participation if you miss out on your sectionals. If you cannot make it, you have to inform your tutor about it beforehand and attend a make-up sectional within the same week.

Take D2 from opposite KR MRT and it will bring you the the BIZ carpark which is situated near both BIZ1 and BIZ2.

Will textbooks be necessary to do well in the exams if the prof indicate that the textbooks are supplementary rather than compulsory?

Nope! But personally it depends on your style of revision; if you feel textbooks help you to understand better compared to just lecture notes, then you should go ahead. Otherwise, you don't have to get a textbook :)

I am in sectional class A4 for BFS1001 and according to the timetable generated from CORS, it stated that the week(s) are from week 7 to week 13. Does that mean that from week 1 to week 6, there is no sectional lessons for class A4 and that we only attend from week 7 onwards?
