Hey josh listen to this. So my crush is this new girl at school, but at first I didn't notice her until she continually stared at me. I started to grow feelings for her over the course of the school year, but she lost interest in me. How can I turn the tables (get her to like me again, etc.)

The best way to get her to start liking you is to start interacting with her. If you start talking to her, flirting with her and even ask her out then you would have given her plenty of reasons to like you. Try not to rely on little things like looks and smiles, they're never real indicators and an indirect approach like that never quite results in the way you want it to.

I've heard that Match.com is legit if you pay because you lower the pool of people to only the serious ones (if they're willing to pay as well). If you're looking for free sites there are a lot of them out there: okcupid, plentyoffish, etc. It all depends on what you're looking for. A relationship? A night of fun?

So, there is this girl that is like who I have been talking to, and my friend to my crushes friend that I liked my crush, and my crush found out so she told my friend she did not like me... Should I try being persistent or should I just move on?

I would say that whenever you hear from a third party that your crush doesn't like you, I wouldn't think too much about it. The best way to truly find out is to try and charm her and then ask her out. If she says no then you get your official answer. Otherwise you'll disqualify yourself without really trying if you just go based on what you've heard.

Josh do I have to be friends with my crushes friends, because I want her to like me, but I don't want her friends to influence her in the wrong way just because they don't like me.

Getting your crushes friends to like you can only work in your favor. If you can win them over by making them laugh and have a good time and feel comfortable around you than those are only going to translate to good feelings when I talk to her. its not required for you to be in with them but it does certainly work in your favor.

What is the best line to ask a girl out if the girl is your friend?

There's no perfect line to use, however what you could focus on doing is transitioning from friend zone to interest by changing the dynamic of how you interact. Ask your friend out on a date and see where it takes you.

It sounds like it's a force of habit for you, you might like the bread more than the sandwich. Do you do this with any other foods, like grab a handful of cereal out of the box before you pour it or bite an apple before you cut it?

In a case like that you gotta shift your focus from whether or not she likes you already to leading her on a path to liking you. Be persistent and keep asking her out, even if it's for small dates like going for a walk or hanging out after school. Give her a reason to like you rather than expecting one.

I have a coworker that's around the same age as me (16). We say hi to each other and I'm guessing due to our similar ages we just kind of became comfortable around each other in the break room. How do I talk about things not related to work without it sounding weird or random?

A good way to create a more friendlier bond is to start with a question. Ask for the people around you'd personal opinion on something and then joke around with them about their answers. You gotta create a friendly vibe for everyone first so when you talk to her casually it never seems out of place.

A wingman video is a great topic! I'm gonna add that one to the mix. They aren't always necessary but they are helpful in already breaking the ice with a group. The purpose of the wingman is to make everyone else comfortable so that they can easily transition you in as someone worth caring about. I'll go more in depth in the video I make.

Yea I think this site is great, a lot of people are on it and it allows them to freely and easily ask questions anonymously if they wish.

The key is to make friends with a lot of girls and to get to understand them better. The better you know girls and can spend more time around them, the easier it'll be to get a girlfriend and maintain that relationship.

josh speaks do you get overwhelmed by all these questions sometimes?

It can be a little overwhelming, between Ask.fm, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and email but I always try to remember that people aren't numbers and every question is a genuine person. That makes me feel like I'm talking to people one on one instead of to a mass audience.

When I texted my crush, I sent her a 1337 term called NP (no problem). I took the chance and preexplained its meaning. She replied that she already knew that term and sent me the unamused face. This made me embarassed, so I said "oh ok" and left. I'm starting to feel insecure to even TALK to her...

If you find yourself feeling awkward in talking to her, try to think if the things you're talking about are things she would understand. We all have our own humor and way of speaking but it doesn't always make sense to others. Try to ease people into it, if you say something and she asks about it, explain. Otherwise try to be conscious of when you're creating situations where she might be left confused and try to avoid them.

Hey Josh, why do we compair ourselves with others? I have always wondered that.

I think we compare ourselves to others more to see if we're up to par. it really has nothing to do with anyone else, they are just a measuring stick really. That's why it's important to ask yourself, does worrying about meeting a standard make us happy or nervous. If it's not making us happy then try to wake up to the reality that there is no right way to act or be, there is only you. No one else matters there.

It sounds like she may be interested, the next move has to come from you. Now that you've done all of these things, ask yourself what you can do now to ask her out and make it happen. Aim to be genuine friends with her if you see that she's with someone or if you find it too hard to be friends with her since you like her, don't be close with her. it'll hurt you more than it will help you.

It doesn't make her a ho at all. She just may like different qualities about different guys, and has yet to have found a guy that she really likes.
