It sounds like it might be in your best interest to intervene before he does. If you talk to her and make a significant move then you can control the outcome of how she sees you. Plus if this guy is as wicked as you say he might be then it's best to avoid him at all costs.

What should guys do to compliment a girl on Instagram but don't want to sound weird or look like they're in love

A compliment might not take you very far because the girl might get compliments from tons of different guys. You might go further by pointing out something about the photo that isn't as obvious and then trying to transition that into a conversation off of the picture. Otherwise you're just feeding her compliments with the hope that you will be the one that stands out.

I would say it's true, a lot of times guys want to be friends with a girl, ask her out and expect her to forget the whole thing happened if she said no. The truth is, if you have feelings for someone and don't feel like you can control them then aiming for a friendship is a bad more. It's best to decide whether you want to be platonic friends or aim for something more.

People in my Hs say I look like I'm one of those kids who end up shooting the school or something. I make jokes about it and how Id put them on my list as a joke because I would never do that and I don't have weapons. People say its cause of my look idk. I changed my look twice and I look the same!?

Hey man, the first thing I would do is stop making jokes like that for a few reasons. It can be overheard or misconstrued by someone and that could go up to the principal, meaning expulsion from the school. I know you're joking but it's a dangerous thing to joke about. Also about your look, it might be less about how you look and more about how you carry yourself. Do you find yourself walking around expressionless or angry? People will create the identity they want for you simply because they will, take ownership of your identity and just being kind to others. ignore the people who make those comments and just be kind, it'll start to rub off on others.

How to deal with having enemies?

Usually with people you don't like, the best thing to do is to pull yourself away from them. The less time and energy spent on them, the better. Next, ask yourself why they are your enemy and how you can transition them from that into just being some other person you don't really care about.

My one piece of advice would be to not second guess your decisions. There will be a lot of times that you will tell yourself no simply because the moment wasn't right, or you didn't know what to say or do. As a freshman you are new to the world around you and you are the most forgiven for taking chances and making mistakes because you're new. Take advantage of that and talk to your crush about navigating through class, turn to your classroom neighbor and start a conversation, and spend some time with random strangers at lunch so you can meet new people.

Hey, 1 year is totally fine. If you guys are both in middle school or both in high school it will make things easier for you since you two share that world together. A good way to start the conversation without it being awkward is to start with hi. If she sees that you're confident enough to introduce yourself and then talk to her she will open up more to you. Use conversation to build that awareness with her and the friendship should evolve on its own. In order to take it to the next level, that's going to require flirting, asking her out and making a move when you feel it's right.

It's not easy to make a choice like that, I think the best thing to do is to spend time with each of them and get to know them better so when you do make your choice you feel confident in the person you go with.

a good indicator as to whether or not you're being creepy online is if she blocked you or outright said something to you. a lot of guys tend to message girls over and over again despite her not even responding or they will constantly comment on her pictures with things like you're so beautiful, you're gorgeous, you're so amazing. don't be one of the guys to supplement everything she does, be the guy who talks to her in person and then develops an online relationship.

it sounds like you may live in the kind of area where people have lots to prove. do your best to avoid wearing things are showing off things that may cause these people to react. I know it sucks that you may have to limit yourself but for safety purposes this may be what has to happen.

Hey, it can be difficult sometimes to step outside of our comfort zone to try something new. The fear of what might happen kicks in as a way to protect us, even if the result doesn't live up to our fearful expectations. If your social anxiety makes you feel completely crippled in the moment the best thing might be to see a school therapist which can help you talk about the situations and fears you may have in the moment. My advice would be that whenever you feel overwhelmed, anxious or scared, focus on your breathing and stay there. Try to distance yourself from what you want to do and stick with your breathing. Once you are calm, just walk right up and take a baby step. Say hi and let it be. You don't have to go the full way in a conversation to walk away feeling like it was successful. Whenever you feel like it becomes too much you can end it and then go back to your breathing. Try this technique out and let me know if it works for you. With clubs, you don't have to worry too much about being a good speaker. Everyone that goes there has a common interest so you are around people that like the same things you do. A good way to break the ice is to talk about characters that relate to what you're doing or how you feel in that moment, you might get a few laughs from the people there.

If you do step a and not step b you might end up friend zoned again.

It's getting tougher because we live in such a digital age. There will be a lot of friends who get frustrated that you aren't conforming but the ones who don't are probably going to be your closest friends anyway. I would say if you still want to stay away from social media, maybe just use it as a communication tool rather than as a sharing platform? For instance you can download Facebook messenger without even having to use the Facebook app.

I don't think you should tell a girl how you feel until you've already been dating for a while and you want to make things exclusive. Otherwise it's best to flirt and eventually go for the kiss when the moment sets itself. Usually to get into that frame I would wait till the two of you are alone and let the conversation fall into silence, smile at her and go in for it. Before that try to talk about how you're really enjoying the day and how you two have a lot of fun together.
