How do you get rid of the desire of kaam? Its biological and sometimes you just feel aroused, how can you deal with it?

firstly, heart felt ardaas in front of the Guru
secondly, find a shabad that you like which talks about defeating kaam - sing it all day and apply it to your life

if everything is written then why are we judged for our good or bad actions as we have been led to them? or have i misunderstood? Thanks

'Sabhna likiya vuree kalaam' - ever flowing pen..
Its not written just yet my friend, the pen is still flowing and writing as your life goes on...

Wjkk wjkf bhaji, I wanted to know where in SGGSji does it say that Bhai Gurdas ji's vaaran are a key? Also i've been told that nowhere in gurbani does it say we can't eat meat. Is there any bani, or in bhai sahibs vaaran that I should be looking at?

Sabh meh jyot - the light is in all living beings ... It is not for us to tell what you can and can not do but there are parts of Gurbani that will give you these answers .. below are a couple you can start reading up on ... ... Remember also Maharaj tells us not to eat anything purely for the taste, we have enough nutrition in a veg diet meaning we don't really need meat...

I like to link sikhi with love and because of this when I get the chance I sleep in Guru Sahibs room. I have recently been told that as a woman that is wrong for me to do. Another incident was when I was told that i couldnt go to gurdwara because I was on my menstruation.

That is a traditional hindu thought.. You can definitely go to the Gurdwara at that time. It is personal to you so nobody needs to know really.

WJKK WJKF. What is the meaning of Nanak naam chardi kalaa, tere bhaane sarbat da bhala? Thank you.

Nanak asks for 'Naam' (name of God) with which comes well being, happiness and positive spirit and with your blessings, Lord may everyone in the world prosper and be in peace - Dhan Google

WJKK WJKf ! I am used to wear steel kirpans and karas but now am planning to shift to sarbloh karas and kirpan. I am worried about getting rust of them. Can you please tell how to clear it of the rust/take care of sarbloh?

Clean it thoroughly every 5-6weeks and apply coconut oil after cleaning.
Make sure the kirpaan is completely dry to avoid rust developing

If we are reading prayers off a phone or tablet, is it necessary to wash your hands ? OR clean the device ?? Also, everytime we pray, is it crucial to cover our heads ??? wwhat if we are just doing simran ?

Yes wash your hands, yes cover your head at all times whilst praying and doing simran.
As Sikhs we should aim to always have our heads covered. Remember, you are always in the presence of Vaheguru

Im so annoyed & confused. I heard from somewhere that, guru gobind singh ji said not to worship him and if someone worships him then its sinful. Apparently, guruji said that, Im sure this means worship/focus on god not gurujis. But it makes me so confuseed and angry, because i thought they WERE god

They are the light of God. Listen to katha on the Mool Mantar, these are the virtues of Vaheguru (God)

Is listening to prayers the same as doing them ?????

Listening is for people very very new into Sikhi, after a couple of weeks of listening you should aim to find time to start reading. The anand is completely different

can we listen to paath and still do house chores? otherwise, I don't get time to do any paath?

Of course! its good to have paath on all day in the house. However, you need to be real with yourself about whether you are giving that paath the attention it requires. You should try read your nitnem baanis as a minimum, everything listened to on top of this is a bonus

What is the purpose of amrith vela and what time is amrith vela? Or is it based on sunrise?

Purpose - to connect with Vaheguru and sow the seeds for a fruitful future. It is a time when the world is asleep but rare blessed souls are awake jaaping naam
Back in the day in India, yes it was based around the timings of the sun and these timings rarely changed between seasons. In the UK the sun rises and sets at very different times so it is recommended you try keep amrit vela in the last pehar of the day between 3-6am ...
Also, keep in mind, Mahapurks tell us that every time your mind is drinking amrit through naam/baani/simran that is also amrit vela. So, lets have many many amrit velas in the day and maybe one day we will permanently be drinking amrit!
'aat pehar simaro this rusnaa' - keep his name on your tongue 24 hours a day

What bani(s) shall I read to battle feelings of depression and emptiness like something is missing.

All Baani from the heart will help with these feelings - Mool mantar to start with, watch some of our videos and other kathavachiks explanation of the mool mantar, this will really help...
Also, anand sahib and its meanings will help - all about bliss and happiness
For depression, people have told us that chaupai sahib really helped pump them up

Ok. So this might not be answered but I still want to know. I basically had a dream since I was young to go into a certain job however even though I have the grades to make it and I stil can. I am not sure I want to do it for the right reasons. My parents want me to do it but I am not sure anymore

Do ardaas in front of Mahraj and ask for hukam... Without telling anyone your ardas, ask the granthi to explain the meaning of the hukamana. This will answer your confusion

Im 15 years old girl from slough and i have to walk back late from school and it gets dark at night and sloughs pretty dangerous. What paath shall i do? Plus i always feel aline and scared coz i dont hav a brother to protect me and bibis at the gurdwara make it sound bad and try and pity me

You should ready any Bani e.g. Mool Mantar or chaupai sahib or do some Simran. Keep a shastar too as guru sahib made us into Saint soldiers.

Is it right for the brothers of the bride to help her walk around the Guru Granth Sahib Ji during the Laavan?

No its kind of indicating the bride needs support and cant stand on own 2 feet. Definitely should not happen.

Im a Sikh girl but I have not taken Amrit. I'm having a lot of trouble in my life, with my studies and not getting good grades. Also I have trouble maintaining friendships with other people because I'm very shy and not very outgoing. I want to be more friendly. What should I do?

Do Ardaas to guruji, sometimes we may have to accept how it is, all part of the game.

VJKK VJKF! Is it right for a Amritdhari to believe in castes and that people should marry into the same caste as this goes against sikhi! We're told that there is no caste so why do Amritdharis who walk the path ignore this?

VJKK VJKF! Its definitely not right but how can we blame our Guru if we're doing wrong.

If u personally take hukamnamma about whether u should get engaged to someone without anyone knowing not even that person and guru sahib says yes, but then ur parents take it for someone else and that says yes as well which is the right choice?

Go with the first Hukam.
