Should Sikhs call Maharaja Ranjit Singh "Maharaja" as the only king of Sikhs is Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Please correct me.

maharaja just means kings.... guru Ji is the also a maharaja... but the greatest one

are Sikhs allowed to enjoy sex

Sex is for conception. Therefore with every consequence there is a result... and let's say we use contraception which actually reduces the chance of conception (have chance it can fail) but this can also lead to lustful thoughts and therefore our desires becoming uncontrollable as we have given into them.
Siri Guru Dasam Granth:
when I came to a mature age my guru told me; son, remember these teachings for the rest of your life; love and care for you wife daily, but never even in your dreams go into the bed of another woman. those that have sexual relation with someone other than their spouse, they die the death of a dog.
From the above we can learn that when a sikh comes to the age for marriage and marrys; that either partner will be with you for the rest of your life. Therefore it is not paap to have sexual relations with your wife if you have lustful desires as there is a special relationship formed between man and women explained in the Lavaa bani. If we suppress these thoughts to such a degree then it can lead to frustration and anger which then can affect a marriage. Also the suppression of lust in one or both of the partners in the relationship lead to thoughts & dreams of other men/women which Guru Teg Bahadur in the above bani said those who do this will die the death of a dog.
We however want to get to the stage where we can control our lust as this energy is powerful can be used for simran. We want to change this Kaam to Naam.
so girehee jo nigrehu karai ( he alone is a householder who restrains his passions) so our guru wants us to control our senses and desires and thats how we can go deeper within and find the true guru.
To implement this then we need to do it in a way which we can handle. For example if you have sexual intercourse 3 times a week then slowly cut it down to 2 times after a week or two etc. Until you can handle without it.
To conclude its a wordly pleasure and like the other senses we do want to get past it. However its not paap to love your wife/husband.

Can a married couple use contraception

Contraception in sikhi isn't something we would suggest as the reason for sex is for conception. Therefore with every consequence there is a result... in the case of contraception which actually reduces the chance of conception (have chance it can fail) but this can also lead to lustful thoughts and therefore our desires becoming uncontrollable as we have given into them.

As an amrtidhari , is it alright to remove the Kara and kirpan while training In martial arts?

Vjkk vjkfateh, not after Amrit.... they become like extra limbs.
They each have a specific function for our journey.
If you really want to pursue martial arts then you can buy the necklace, kirpan and try find a smaller kara.
But try start the sikh martial art up.... gatkha :)

is it ok to not do ishnaan at amritvela before doing nitnem or no matter what we have to ishnaan?I have an infant and it gets hard leaving her in room alone when I go for ishnaan.she gets scared alone as my sardarji is out of state for work.what is panj ishnana ?can that be done?

Vjkk vjkfateh,
It is difficult with kids, we have to try working around them.. if possible try to wake up slightly earlier for ishnan.
But in these situations it is difficult so I would go for the panj ishanan if your having difficulty with the above. Here you wash your face, arms + hands and legs + feet.
when the Singhni is back the return to the full ishnan Ji.

Are jatts and tharkhans just Sikhs? And the rest are Hindu like chamars etc

Sikhs don't believe in castes....

Should an amritari wear a keski to sleep? And if so why? It keeps on falling off in my sleep

When at home as long as you cover your head its fine. Khalsa should always be Tyaar-Par-Tyaar to go out so Keski would be better - maybe tie it tighter?

I have a cousin who talks bad about others or will only talk to someone if she wants something from that person, in short fake and selfish, But I want to forgive her. i still want to avoid her or not answer her calls. is that ok? what should I do? I get irritated around her but she is my cousin.

Guru Arjan Dev Ji says: No one is my enemy, and no one is a stranger. I get along with everyone. ||1||
It may be hard but just try and see her good characteristics and when around her remember your bad traits.

veer Ji this game is about love.... with love and compassion speak to your mother... nothing will change over night. There is suchatam in gurbani but it is in two lights... one with what we do with our body but firstly it refers to how clean our mind is. If we can silenced these senses and see only Ek through them then our actions due to our though processes will also reflect that Ek.
I cant sit here and judge your mother because I don't know what avasta she is at and what she can see. All I can do is show love and so can you... speak to her and ask as much as you can about why we so this but don't fall into the trap of speaking I'll of your mother. From mothers kings are born Ji.

When and how did Adi Granth Sahib become elevated to Guru status? Why do some Sikhs not give it Guru status but rather to a human Guru?

Bhai Baljit explains in this katha.
Usually people don't understand that from pothi sahibs etc. SGGS was formed. You wouldn't call a pothi sahib a human... we have love and respect for them.

However you feel Ji. there's no right or wrong in that regard.
I'm happy you want to read more gurbani

How to get over a break up ?

Vjkk vjkfateh,
a relationship in the modern world is not truly based on love but more so attachment. love is something with no end and is the same for each person you see.... that's true love. The love of this world is finite and will die, but the love of vaheguru is limitless.
What we need to first try to understand is that a relationship based out of marriage has no commitment value nor can you guarantee that it will lead to marriage as our lives can take so many dips and turns.
Therefore we should try to remove desires and expectations. If we fall short of our desires or expectations it can lead to dukh (pain).
We can do this by focusing our energy to a new direction I.e. towards a new activity like going to the gym, gurbani santiya, reading etc. something productive which will help improve your own Jevan.
next dukh Daroo Sukh rog bhaioo ( pain is the medicine) where there is pain then there is a chance a grow and develop as well learn from that life experience. With this pain fall at the feet of the guru and do Ardas and jap naam for help. Ask for a true relationship with that guru who will never let go of your hand nor turn his back on you. Remember wherever there is wordly pleasure then there is pain. In the gurus game of love we break past the cycle of Sukh and dukh.

You spoke about Eben Alaxender's near death experiece. Are there any You Tube videos or written accounts of sikhs who have seen the after life or had a near death experience.

there's Bhai Rama Singhs book (manmukh to gurmukh) but also if you are lucky enough yo meet a mahapurak they may tell you about it.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Shri Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!! Veerji, I watched the video you did about Khalistan and a question came in my mind. Do you support/agree with the Khalistan Movement that started in the 90's? What do you think of people like Bhai Sukha and Jinda?

VJKK VJKF ji! I'm not against Khalistan but the question is about how big do we want it do be? Just Punjab or what about half of Punjab that was split into Pakistan? It's be better to take whole India personally ji. We say it twice a day - Raj Karega Khalsa. As a Khalsa that's our mission, to give everyone rights to basic needs. When people realise our mission they will want us to take Raaj.

Bhai Jinda and Sukha were Shaheeds and I forever bow down to their sacrifices. They assassinated Vaidya who had a part in the attack of Harmandar Sahib. Our history has shown, whoever attacks our holiest shrine doesn't last long!

What would Guru Ji say to do in the famous utilitarian example of 'Jim and the Indians'? Jim's told to shoot 1 of 20 Indians standing in front of him. If he does, the other 19 go free. If he doesn't, the guy threatening Jim will shoot all 20 of them. What would Guru Ji tell Jim to do? #JustCurious

If Jim was a khalsa, he would shout a jaikara (war cry) and shoot the guy telling Jim to kill any of them.
A khalsa is not fearful death, our mission is to be one with vaheguru within this life so we dettach from this body. Sikhi is so different to western religions and their views on these issues.

WJKK WKJF, What does sikhi believe about evoloution?

its in line.... it's gurus game... hes has infinite power. He can create and sustain creatures however he likes Ji
