veerji!! There's nothing to worry about the results thing right?

No ji! Worry about wasting our breaths and not remembering Vaheguru.

Does the setting of a room effect naam abihas? I've noticed when the room's colder the vibration is stronger, I don't know why that is.

Daas has noticed that too, maybe because in warm conditions we're less awake and more likely to nod off.

Why do the gurus only concentrate on hindus and muslims? The world is bigger than India

They didn't ji, its just our matt (mind) that doesn't understand. Bani mentions Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and the "Books" (of the West), which signifies the Torah (Jewish), Quran (Muslim), and the Bible (Christian) scriptures. In the final analysis, all are lacking something.

When I've been doing my bani's regular and meditating on naam over a period of time and my mind settles I experience strange things like random visions of the future while meditating. To date these vivid visions have all come true (some don't even involve me). Whats that about?

I would keep this to yourself, be careful how you use these stuff. Its a sign that your spiritually progressing but don't get too egotistic, long way still to go.

We have lust for procreation and anger to defend our selves, what is the purpose of ego ?

The one way we can use ego positively is by escaping from 8.4 million lifecycle and we have to think about ourselves and saving ourself.

What is dasmi (10th of Indian calendar month) and how is it related to Sikhi? My mother says we matha tek to our shaheeds after putting ghee and Kara prashad on the stove. She has told me (a male) to ask our Vade Vadere (ancestors?) to bless us.

That's not Gurmat, sounds like a sort of ritual ji.

I sometimes randomly have a few line of japji pop into my head at random points in the day. Is it okay if I'm a mona to still recite those lines in my head?

Hanji - when reading Bani we should cover head, try not covering head and see if it feels right, if not then your conscience is telling you what's right.

Sant ji carried a hand gun with him .Do you think all amritdhari sikhs should have guns where ever its legal

Khalsa should be Tyaar Par Tyaar, more Shastaar (weapons) the better so yes.

Can you explain what you mean by getting high of naam? Is it an actual feeling like people try to achieve through taking drugs? If so then what is the need for drugs really lol

That's it! We don't need drugs when we have Naam. The experience of Naam is way higher than drugs and it doesn't wear off but increases. I cannot begin to describe the feeling, it has to be experienced for one's self ji.

Thank you so much ji. Last thing, ummm, you know earlier i asked a question abt the results thing? like i told babaji 'please make me get good results for this majors and if i dont get for the next majors is okay' and i got what i wanted. So babaji will not hold any grudges on that right? If i work

Thank Guru, thank Vaheguru! Remember that Vaheguru is not like an exchange shop where we give something and we get something. The system is beyond us and Vaheguru never EVER holds grudges jee.

What does it mean when I can't concentrate while doing Nitnem ? I feel like a waste on earth when I can't connect :(

Remember that we wont always connect and that's part of the game, we just have to keep going and ask to be blessed with that divine connection. Try and read Bani louder and slower to get your mind settled.

Khalsa Ji, after we do full body ishnaan everyday (excluding kesi ishnaan) at Amritvela, we still have to untie the small turban, comb our hair and retie the small turban? Am I right? Can / Should we change the small turban everyday, i mean tie a new clean small turban everyday?

Vaheguru - it's part of Rehat to comb hair twice a day and if you take time out you will realise your hair needs to be combed, it feels like Kesh ask to be combed. We should re-tie Dastaar each day ji, hanji.

VJKK VJKF. Does Vaheguru hold grudges on us? For an example, would Vaheguru be like 'okay i've given so and so and next i wouldnt do so' Is Vaheguru like that?

VJKK VJKF! Vaheguru holds no grudges at all, he never holds back. Vaheguru gives us each and every breath, even if we aren't thankful he still blesses us with life.
We read in Japji Sahib every day:
'Dainda Deh, Laindeh Thaak Paye' - Vaheguru gives and gives, we get tired of receiving.
PS

Vjkvjkf I wanted to ask, whenever i listent to katha of the gurus or gurbani I feel like crying and i do not precisely know why?. Could you please tell me why is this the case?.

VJKK VJKF! That's amazing that you're connecting to Katha , you're blessed. Its probably your soul crying out hearing the praise of our Great Guru. Don't waste that gift use that connection to Katha to develop your relationship with Guru.

Vjkk vjkf. Vaheguru is our helper right?

VJKK VJKF! Of course, our only true and eternal helper:
He is my breath of life, my friend, support and wealth; O Nanak, I am forever a sacrifice to Him. ||4||6||45|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji

From your responses its clear sikhi is the type of relgion 'do this to get to god' 'you have to do this, if you dont ask for forgiveness' 'you have to do this this and this'. Whereas other religions just meditate on the name of God and be good people. Why is sikhi so different? Complicated? Pls help

Sorry if I confused you. Sikhi is not about following mere rules to reach God. Sikhi is all about love but you've got to have barriers or you'll be all over the place. Rehat Maryada is like a stream running between two barriers, if there was no barriers, then the water would go all over the place.
In a spiritual life we need certain restrictions to keep us on the right path, but remember we don't just follow rules blindly there is a reason behind each thing Guruji tells us to do, even if we don't understand it. Another meaning of Maryada is:
Mar - death
Yada - remember
So with Rehat Maryada we live in such a life where we remember death at all times. That's why we have been blessed with Rehat which will help us stay firm on this path.

I have intentions of becoming a Gursikh one day and getting closer to Sikhi. But I'm at uni atm and want to enjoy the experience of going out with mates, I occasionally smoke weed too. But this is temporary until I get a bit older and more mature. Am I going to hell?

At the moment you have two minds, one faces away from the Guru (smoking weed) and the other which wants to walk towards your Guru. One of those minds is your real friend and the other mind is actually an enemy in disguise. The question here is, why put off building a relationship with your true friend right now, for the sake of building an ultimately fake relationship which you're gonna have to abandon later on anyway. Or perhaps, If you want to be superman, which then inject yourself with kryptonite in the hope that later you will stop doing so and then start to fly.
What if you lose the desire to fly? What if you forget that desire to be with that true friend? Then yes, you will be be in darkness. The thing to remember is this, this path of Sikhi is so priceless, that the current price you think you're paying for it (leaving weed, making slightly different friends, doing paat) is actually a cheap price. You're getting it cheap bro and you might turn it away. If you buy it now, then later you will realise what a bargain that was. I also quit drugs and going out at the peak of my uni life..and what maharaaj gives back leaves no regrets.
Make the true trade my brother, the best time to make it is now.. no one knows the future and the risk of missing out is too great. Can we still watch shows like fresh prince or my wife and kids? Religious or not they're funny lol wjkk wjkf

VJKK VJKF! Television is one of the common things us Humans may get enticed by. There is always a movie, series etc that we enjoy watching but this is only all just a figment of our imagination. In that instant of death, it will only seem hollow.
Watching, watching the transitory dramas of the world, you are embroiled and enmeshed in them, and you laugh with delight. - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
By watching television we become attached. We can not even live a day without it. We become so attached, they even come apart of our lives. They are discussed with friends frequently. Watching TV only helps us to pass time, passing our life in vain. Sooner or later we will depart and no worldly possessions will depart with us.
I'm not saying we cant watch television full stop but be careful what you watch as it has a big impact on us even if we don't realise!

Just a curious question, how comes Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji didn't visit Harmandir Sahib

I think once Guru Gobind Singh Ji was refused by the Masands which lead to destruction of the Manji System and Guru Sahib took punishment on the Masands. They were burned alive in a pit at Anandpur Sahib.
However ultimately we will not understand everything Guru does, just accept it jee.

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh. Do you think Bana is something Sikhs should wear out in the western world, outside of india? Is it practical to wear it in western countries?

Bana is a blessing from Guru Sahib. A Khalsa should be wearing Bana at all times - Panj Kakkar. The Bana we wear ie. Chola is a very big thing. Wearing that we represent Guru Sahib's own roop.
We were blessed with the Bana to stand out from a crowd and so we should wear Bana in the West to be recognized as the Nyara (distinct) Khalsa. If we start questioning wearing Bana then next we'll be questioning Dastaar!

VJKK VJKF. Is it compulsory for an amritdhari sikh to do full ishnaan (including washing kesh) at amritvela? Can they do the 5 ishnaan (wash face, hands and legs)?

VJKK VJKF! Hanji we should have a full body ishnaan daily, kesh ishnaan is not compulsary.
5ishnaan is only if we cant have full ishnaan for some reason.
