i have alot of desires, what bani can i listen/read to? to stop all this bakwaas brother?

Better to focus on quality rather than quantity. Salok M9 is good, or even memorising specific lines of bani and using those as 'medicine' when you are attacked by desire (vaashna). The point is to focus and repeat something like this.
kaam karodh nagar mehi sabalaa nit outh outh joojh kareejai ||
Sexual desire and anger are very powerful in the body-village; I rise up to fight the battle against them.
angeekaar karahu rakh laevahu gur pooraa kaadt kadteejai ||2||
Please make me Your Own and save me; through the Perfect Guru, I drive them out. ||2||

Should sikhs believe in horoscopes?

No, Guruji tells us that "Sabhna Likhiaa Vuddi Kalaam" ie that the pen of God (writing our destiny) is still flowing (vagda hua). So our destiny is not written in stone and if we do naam jap, then we can actually change our future. So why bother being influenced by a future that is just one of several possibilities when you can actually create the best possible future by living as a Sikh, (ie one who is a disciple of Guruji and does live as Guruji prescribed).

WJKK WJKF Singh Sahib...I have some doubts/concerns over Lareevaar or Padd-chedd Svarroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj. I don't like that people are fighting over this issue on the internet forums. Do you have any background info on this (like Panthic Decisions, words from Mahapurakhs etc.)

Baba Jaswant Singh ji, also called Bhagat ji, is like a Head of Research department when it comes to SGGS and the correct writing and pronounciation. He is not worried about Pad Chedd vs Lareevaar, but more about the mistakes being put into the text itself when being printed and the way its being translated. I think he;s right. Sort out the grammer, spelling mistakes and translation first ,then we can talk about the spaces etc.

Hi i have some muslim friends, and they ask me if the battle of chamkaur (the second war) is true, but i have a little evidence to show them, because they dont belive that 46 sikhs fighted against 100.000 mogul soldiers. do you have any links or better evidence to argument with them.

Read Zafarnama, its the words of Dhan Guru Gobind Singh ji themselves...and they were there at Chamkaur and they wrote Zafarnama to Aurangzeb himself, so they wouldn't have lied. In history, thats called a eye-witness report which was made immediately after the event. Very reliable!

Whats your view of this 'singh street style'? In my opinion by adding singh they are doing our bezti

One mans bezti is another mans style.. as evidenced by our parents dress sense!! Just check out them old photos your parents got! LOL On a more serious note, I think our Panths dezti is done more when our Gurdwaras are in shambles, our girls are preferring to be raped than to ask for our help and generally the "Singhs" are nowhere near the singhs of old. Have you seen this video..http://youtu.be/udySr8YQcvsbasicsofsikhi’s Video 66072802098 udySr8YQcvsbasicsofsikhi’s Video 66072802098 udySr8YQcvs
Our bezti is that with all the Khalsa in this country, we are still insignificant. If you divide 60million by 125,000, you get around 600. Thats all we should need for a Khalsa Raj in the UK...so whats stopping us?

khalsa ji i am very ashamed to ask you this but pls help me i feel like am dieing i am a amritdari singh in the starting everything was great now i have fallen apart i watch tv movies even adult movies which is killing me i cry to maraj that help me i dont wanna watch this but still i end up in it

Firstly, you are not alone in this problem, it very common and very disheartening to hear. Secondly and more importantly, please Man up and stop talking like you cant control your actions. Of course you can, we retain control at all times, its just that your lower self is winning and you're just feeling guilty. Dont start from the presumption of "I've got no control". Start from the presumption that, "I'm full of kaam and I am doing a pretty shitty job of controlling it". Once you recognise the problem, only then you can solve it. Thirdly, just to be clear about this, any looking at porn, or women on the street (ie anyone not your wife) is pretty much kryptonite.. no amount of kryptonite is good for those who want to be Superman.. so dont even go there at the very beginning. Dont be checking out women or daydreaming about them thinking, "Oh its okay, I've not done anything". Recognise that each time you do even the slightest, its wrong and SHE IS YOUR SISTER/MOTHER/DAUGHTER so stop, and do something else, look elsewhere. Stop crying to Maharaaj, man up, and keep your eyes to yourself. Jap Gurus Naam, do ardaas, read some paat but dont even go down that route... Remember, its just a feeling, it will pass, if you dont just keep dwelling on it.

VJKK VJKF. You mentioned on one of your posts about running out of money. I would like to donate some money as I am always watching the videos on this channel and find them very informing. How can I go about this?

VJKK VJKF, thanks ji, we are running short as we've hired two people in our bid to keep up with the work and also grow. The best way is online and to set up a monthly recurring donation - http://bit.ly/1bpMuxb

How to enjoy reading Path?

No unhealthy person ever enjoyed running on the first time, the only enjoy it when it becomes part of their routine and they see the benefit. Given that Paat is the Ultimate Truth and Gurus gift to our Soul, then effectively if we dont enjoy paat, its a sign of our diseased mind. So when the mind is so diseased, then it needs even more medicine. More Naam Simran and more Paat for this patient please Doctor.. next.

I am amritdhari and i had to get these injections and when i took the band-aid off of my arm where i got the injection, my hair got ripped off from it. Does this count as hair removal? Please help!

Chill winstaaan. It was unintentional right? Just as long as you dont just conveniently put band-aids all over yourself and then rip them off, you should be ok. Ask Maharaaj for any forgiveness in your next ardaas. My kara regularly rubs off the hair on one part of my wrist, its again unintentional. Hope that helps.

if i listen to my nitnem its badd ?

Are we speaking Ghetto here? cause Bad and wicked have very different meanings depending on the context... Most Punj Piare say read your Nitnem, if you can read then listen to your nitnem.. but atleast do listen to it nonetheless. No point stopping listening to paat. Try and read some of it.

Although, you have mentioned that going to India to learn about Sikhi is beneficial, my friend who recently went, advised me that he had seen things like, do 40 day jot and saw a whole load of gurudwarai having people math tek to some babas place before entering the gurudwara, this isnt Sikhi surely

You're right. The amount of pakhand that is in India is unreal! There's more Sikhi on the internet sometimes than wandering around looking in Punjab. However, there is a simplicity to village life..and its awesome. You just have to develop a Pakhand filter, dont trust anyone, dont talk too much and enjoy the Naam. You can do a lot of learning of Gurbani and Kirtan in Punjab.

Can a amritdhari marry a non amritdhari?

Can and should are two different words. It can happen, depending upon what your Punj Piare have said. Obviously its better for Khalse to marry Khalse as then they have a similar rehat and it means Khalse get married without any problems. A Sikh should try and marry his daughter to a Sikh, especially because daughters (future mothers) are brought up (hopefully) in the equality of Guru Nanaks house and so you dont really want her freedom compromised later on or that her knowledge of Sikhi goes to waste. So Amritdharis should marry Amritdharis but there can be exceptions especially in the case of people who are already married and come into Sikhi. Depending on what the Punj Piare say but me personally, I think as long as your partner supports your Amrit rehat, one Amritdhari in a family means the whole family gets blessed.

What would your reply be to people who say that Sikhi and religion in general is merely a coping mechanism?

I would say that life is hard, its confusing and it comes with no instruction manual. So we do need some kind of coping mechanism and the best one is to find out the Truth about why we were made, what is the aim of a human, who made us, and how do we achieve that aim. That Truth would be a wonderful way to cope with the confusion that reigns supreme. To find the Truth, you need a Guru of the Truth, who knows the Truth and can enlighten us to that Truth. So SatGuru Nanak came to bring this Truth to us and to bring us to this Truth, which is based on experience, meditation and brings bliss and peace. In short, I dont know how I would cope with life if I didn't have Guru Nanak Devji as my Isht, my guide and my Sukhdaata (giver of peace).

should we learn all our banis before being blessed with amrit ? or if we are willing to give our head before knowing any of our banis should we give it ? bhul chuk maaf for any mistakes.

Give your head when you're literally scared to end up dying by accident before the next Amrit Sanchar.. the banis will come by themselves when you read them daily. Also, if the Punj Piare say no, then listen to their advice as they will always give you something to do before trying again.

In all due respect, why are there are always stories of meeting the 10 gurus when guru gobind singh ji said i am not God or something similar. Why arent there stories of meeting GOD?

Those that meet God dont write about it. Anyway, Guruji reflects God, like the Sun and the moon. Easier to describe the moon than the sun.

I am an Amritdhari Sikh. I do bani but I am not able to wake up early in the morning as I work till late may be till 1 or 2am. I dont know if I am doing the right thing or wrong.

you'll find out if you're doing the right thing when you read paat or jap naam. If its working, then you're okay. You need to build an internal compass as well as take a hukamnama when you need help from Guruji. Stay within your rehat though, dont break it.

I'm not against Gurmukhi in any way, but why did Guru Ji write in Gurmukhi because it's very hard to understand? I know when I do path I don't understand anything, ever. Why not just write path in English so we can all understand?

Gurbani is meant to be sung...thats why it rhymes. It also helps with memorisation. At one point of your life, you didn't understand English..so you learn it. 13 years ago, I didn't understand any Gurmukhi either. So make the time, take the time, invest the time, to learn Gurmukhi, it will pay off in ways you'll never imagine right now. Just do it and leave the romanised gutke to one side. There is a playlist on our channel called "Learning Gurmukhi".. This is video 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEojher7SxQ&feature=share&list=PL5UNLfJ1TsJm0OHEOslS3NOqGduHwggGgbasicsofsikhi’s Video 64896035378 cEojher7SxQbasicsofsikhi’s Video 64896035378 cEojher7SxQ

I go to a school where no Sikhs are. There are some, but they don't follow Sikhi. These days you can't find a non-Sikh that is disciplined at a young age. Obviously not everyone is perfect, but I am surrounded by people that swear all the time, smoke, drink, talk about s**, have boyfriends etc Help?

Get an online sangat of Gursikhs, read books about Sikhi and lives of Gursikhs, listen to katha, sing Gurbani and keep your mind in Sikhi. You will have to deal with people who dont follow Sikhi, thats fine, just limit your social involvement when them when it affects your spirituality. You could also try talking to people about SIkhi, some people never get a chance to talk about such topics and will relish it if you bring them up, so you'll end up having like-minded people talking to you. Good luck.

PLEASE explain the difference between guru and god. And when I am doing gurbani what should I visualise?

They are the same...Guru is Gurbani, Bani is Nirankar. When reading Gurbani, look at GurBani...you'll see Guru. Thats why we should read Gurbani in Gurmukhi..

What do u mean by saying the gurus are a light?

its a metaphor.... just like we are looking at this screen but can still be spiritually blind (or in the dark) as cannot see the greatness of Vaheguru inside ourselves. This is the darkness we can dispel with the light of Guru.
