Can I get naam as a monah ?

Must go to panj piare to get Gurmantar Naam and to do that you need to surrender to Guru and accept his way, with your own maat (mind) out of the equation.

Whenever a high level person dies then we get to find out of their spritual level. Please could you tell me any living people in UK that are on high sikhi level and have reached dasm duar so I can take their company

Bhai Harinder Singh Ji (Nirvair Khalsa Jatha) is something special...

I really want to take Amrit I feel as if I can do it the only think is I listen to path but I read it in English is that okay?

Its ok to start with but not forever. Make sure you make effort to learn Gurmukhi as if we want to be Gurmukhs we need Gurmukhi.

sometimes when.i am at work I feel like doing ardas esp if am having a bad day. the only place I can go where no one can see me is the ladies, is it ok? or disrespectful to pray in the bathroom? also can u do ardaas wheneverbu want, even if u havnt done any paat before it?

Vin Boliya Sabh Kich Janda.... - Vaheguru knows everything without speaking so unto whom should I offer my prayer.
Vaheguru knows your inner Ardas without actually speaking. Just do Ardaas from inside if you cant do the Panthic Ardas. You can do Ardaas at anytime ji. Take a hukamnama online after your Ardas and guruji will reply directly.

What should an Amritdhari do if they accidentally miss a baani e.g. like forget to do Rahras?

Don't make it into a habbit, do 2 the next day and Ardaas for forgiveness.

VJKK VJKF. As Sikhs why shouldn't we attend party's where people are drinking alcohol etc I agree 100% as stated on this forum that we wouldn't see Guru Gobind Singh Jis son at one so therefore we shouldn't be there either but could you please elaborate more why we shouldn't be at such places please

VJKK VJKF! We don't realise how much of an effect Sangat has on us. Eyes take up 80% of our information and at parties nowadays there are many shameful sights with families dancing not really appropriately dressed, a sight like this is bound to bring us under the influence of 5 Chor. With alcohol people will be doing things that they'd regret afterwards. Also there is usually loud music of lustful songs.
I know if I went there, I'd be affected. That's why we avoid such places.

Why doesn't sikhi scriptures mention other world religions? ?

It does mention Hinduism and Islam a lot as they were main religions of India at the time.

What path's(bani's) am i supposed to do from waking up to sleeping

An Amritdhari reads minimum:
Early Morning: Japji Sahib, Jaap Sahib, Tav Prasad Savaiye, Chaupai Sahib, Anand Sahib
Evening: Rehras Sahib
Nighttime before sleeping: Kirtan Sohila
Would recommend starting slowly and building your Nitnem over time ji.
PS

Are you guys still doing that 5-6pm donation thingie on every Wednesday of this month?

Hanji - between 5pm and 6pm every Wednesday, for 5 weeks starting on 21 May 2014.

It says you have to do path if you take Amrit before everyone wakes up what if you don't sleep till 2 or 3am can you do it or do you have to sleep first

If you have to then you can but I would always recommend doing Nitnem after waking up from sleep as that's the whole challenge.

I'm planning on taking amrit in the near future, but I'm not sure how big of a kirpaan to get ? Would it matter if I got a smaller one (5 inches) rather than a bigger one ?

Vaheguru, kirpa ji. Wear a Kirpan of reasonable size that in case of need can be used, you can decide for yourself which that is.

WJKK WJKF, if someone is mugging you and they had a knife, would you do the Sikhi way and defend yourself, or do you let them take the phone because you can buy many if you live on further?

VJKK VJKF! Most definitely defend ourselves we haven't been given Kirpans for show. Sword is to be used as a last resort but we should defend ourselves in any way.

WJKK WJKF. I had an exam last year. So while waiting for the resutls, i once told babaji, please make me get good results this time and the next majors i dont get is okay. And i got the results i wanted. But now im scared if i wouldnt get good results for my next majors. What to do ji?

VJKK VJKF! Would advise you actually revise this time ji, its important for us to try our best.

I have seen both amritdharis and non amritdharis celebrating birthday in gurdwara. What is your view on celebrating birthday in Gurdwara ji? Nowadays its happening in so many Gurdwaras after program ends. Of course the cake is vegetarian.

I would say it's better than going out and having a party as the atmosphere will be a lot different. Gurughar is open for all and what's better than celebrating birthday in Guru's House!
PS

VJKK vjkf What is daas and what does it mean when you say kirpa ji?

VJKK VJKF! Daas means servant and I'm just a servant serving the SadhSangat (holy congregation). Kirpa means grace, as everything come's through Vaheguru's grace.

I read that futher down here that karma gets carried along lifetimes. Because of your karma you many get an illness eg.mental health, right? And naam is the only way to remove the karma, so does that mean Thai your illness will completely go aswell?

Hanji. Sarah Rog Ka Aukhad Naam - the cure for all diseases is Naam!
PS

When u die will your soul still keep memories of its experiences on this earth

Your would has been through all 8.4 million lives and yes your soul does carry that memory and it passes on as Karma.

Can I talk with the Guru informally, like when you talk with your best friend?

Guru understands all types of languages but to get a connection make sure you speak the language of love -' Bhakiya Bhao Apaar '(Guru Nanak Dev Ji - Japji Sahib)
