winter: will you get a white christmas this season? absolutely not, don't get your hopes up :) you'll probably get no more than an inch or two of snow three times a year, but on the off year when a nor'easter blows in, you'll get three feet of snow within a span of three days. why? no one knows. good luck shoveling if you get the second option ;)

spring: practically non-existent. temperatures go from ice cold in the 20s and 30s to burning hot in the 70s and 80s within a span of a week. tornadoes begin, but don't worry, you'll still get a few days of nice weather when you're not in your basement with the sirens blasting at top volume and the rain pounding hard on your roof.

summer: get ready for unbearable heat and your parents refusing to turn on the air conditioning to save energy! it'll be in the 80s and 90s this season, sometimes going into the low 100s, and it'll be humid if it so much as rains a single drop (although droughts are much more common). can you survive with just fans and ice packs? at least the cicadas during the day and the loud frogs at night sound cool ig,,,,,

autumn: again with ohio flipping temps within a week! it'll go from burning hot to ice cold again, but it'll be the perfect weather for a few days with a lovely breeze. go fly a kite or something. be warned, though: it's always ice cold on halloween. like,,,,,ALWAYS. I hope you've got a warm costume if you're going trick-or-treating with the kids on beggar's night. you're gonna need gloves. carving pumpkins indoors is a must, but even then, the pumpkins are still cold.

I think it's great to embrace our history and still have them in the modern world, but only if they're just figureheads for countries and not actual rulers in a monarchy or dictatorship. something similar to what the uk has with the british royal family and parliament :)

we should try to preserve what few royal families are left before they're gone entirely since they were such a big part of history and are pretty cool to look into and research imo. many royal families around the globe were completely wiped out from either mass murders or genetic defects caused by marrying relatives, and it's so sad to think that a big part of my heritage is just,,,,,gone, although I'm pretty glad they aren't in power anymore.

some people might argue that keeping them around is supporting the bad actions these families made in the past, but we have to remember that these aren't the same people. they legitimately feel sorry for what their ancestors did and wouldn't want to harm anyone, plus they had their powers completely stripped without a say. so what's the harm in letting them keep their family traditions and titles since they aren't in charge anymore as a little compensation?

to answer the second part of your question, though,,,,,in the past, it was thought that these royal families had special, godly blood, and most royalty would marry within the family to keep it pure. however, nowadays we know that isn't true - they're just regular people like you and I who were in the right place at the right time. plus,,,,,having kids with family members and creating small gene pools actually isn't so good after all when it comes to health. hell, even I'm descended from royalty, but I'm not special or any different for it xD

no, not at all. I'm from the united states, ohio in particular, and this place is just,,,,,not good. trump and mr. conversion therapy pence //really// aren't helping any. to put it simply, a lot of people here suck. this country sucks. our gun laws suck. now, to ramble about why :")

I'm not sure how much you know about the u.s.'s politics, but ohio is something called a swing state, meaning that it flips between voting for democrats or republicans in elections. I'd say it's about a 50/50 split here between each party, democrats more towards the cities and republicans more towards the countryside, and I'm right on the edge of both so this place isn't a good mix, especially during voting season when everyone is at each others' throats over who should be elected.

I've also heard some really disappointing things from kids in my former school district. there were guys who literally //preached// about how women should be nothing but slaves who cook and clean and do whatever they ask, how they shouldn't have jobs outside the household because they're 'lesser beings' than men. homophobia is extremely prominent here as well - two of my teachers were homophobic, but they were forced to put on a fake smile or be fired. I received poor grades on every lgbtqa+-supportive project I did while I got a's on others simply because of the ideology. then most recently, one of the few adults I trusted talked down about a theater performance because of the 'homosexual-themed dance' it included at once point. god thing I didn't come out to her, you really can't trust anyone rip.

everyone here keeps getting shot as well because of our stupid gun laws. I'm all for supporting people who do it the right way - my uncle hunts and is a certified weapons, safety, hunting, and trapping instructor for the state of new york and I want him to still be able to do what he does - but you can buy an ar-15 in 30 minutes online in the u.s through private sales by the owner. that isn't right. no one needs a weapon so powerful, like jesus christ that just isn't okay, and there is zero screening to keep people with mental illnesses away from guns so all of these mass shootings keep happening. it terrifies me,,,,,,,,,

this is interesting! I feel like it's very true, but in a couple of different ways.

companies that produce celebrities, particularly in the entertainment industry, can have very terrible contracts. you go in thinking you'll become famous, but you may end up in a slave labor contract, practically selling your soul to these people for very little pay, sometimes with x number of years minimum that you'll be working for them so you can't escape easily. some of these companies, particularly in south korea in the k-pop industry, force trainees to have rough schedules dancing/singing and often force them to go on diets and follow rules in their personal lives like no dating. they get very little sleep and often get injured or collapse.

secondly, if you actually manage to get there, being famous takes a lot out of a person and can be very unsafe. you immediately put your life in the public eye and it's hard to have any privacy at all, sometimes to the point where you have 100+ fans following you around and stalking you at all times if you're extremely popular. there are crazy 'sasaeng' fans out there who will literally try to hurt or kill you. they'll cause car accidents to interact 1x1 with you. they might like a competitor of yours for some dumb award so much that they try to poison you so the competitor wins. the paranoia is enough to drive people insane and many celebrities have taken their own lives or overdosed on drugs that they had taken to temporarily escape from the world or relax from the high stress. plus, if you say or do one wrong thing, you could lose everything overnight.

one of my dreams is to go to college someday, although for what, I'm not quite sure yet. I've been thinking about either physical therapy (to help others in a similar situation to my own recover and get back into their lives) or genetics with a focus on zoology (to help keep the breeding populations of endangered animals genetically sound, or heck, to someday bring back thylacines into captivity if technology gets that far since we recently mapped their dna).

I'd also love to have a house someday, preferably somewhere with a lot of trees! I feel safe near them since the forest has always been an anxiety-free place for me, and they make the perfect place to sit in the shade and paint or sketch under :) I'd also like to have some water nearby, but something with shallow areas that I can wade through since I can't swim well! preferably either a creek, a pond, or the ocean. I love walking barefoot through sand <3

another dream of mine is to get a garden of my own to fill with lilacs, irises, daffodils, purple leaf sand cherries, and forget-me-nots. right now, I share a garden with my parents which isn't always a good thing. even though my dad handles removing poison ivy for me, he's been known to trim our trees and bushes to the point where they die >":

and lastly, I'd like to help foster kittens someday when I have enough space to dedicate a room to them! I miss the little beasties a lot, it was such an amazing experience to take care of laurel's seven when I had the chance. although I don't think I could bottle feed, I'd be happy to take in weaned kittens until they get adopted :) most kill shelters only kill because they don't have enough resources. giving them more resources by fostering means that they can take care of more animals <3

relationships should make you happy, they shouldn't take away from that! yeah, there may be some bumps along the road that you have to work through, but if being with your significant other makes you sad, upset, depressed, etc on a regular basis, then it isn't healthy. they shouldn't hurt you mentally or physically, they shouldn't make you cry; there should be a mutual benefit for being together where you both add to the other's happiness and love, appreciate, and respect each other. however, there is a line where it goes too far and becomes an obsession, an 'I can't live without you' type of thing. people shouldn't need the other person to be happy and shouldn't guilt trip them into staying in the relationship. they should work on being happy on their own before going into a relationship and only adding onto that happiness by being together to prevent things from becoming toxic and abusive!
