3 must-haves for a perfect morning?

1 ) oatmeal ? you know how some people need coffee in the morning? my personal addiction is to cheap instant oatmeal and I have no idea why LOL,,,,,it's not like it has caffeine or anything ?? but a bowl of warm oatmeal in the morning is perfection, and paired with hot tea or cocoa it's heavenly

2 ) cuddly blankets and pillows ? nothing beats waking up feeling snug in bed while hugging a pillow, lost in a land of sweet dreams. even though it makes it harder to get out of bed in the morning, it's 100% worth it. literally drown me in warm pillows please

3 ) cold weather ❄ so I can snuggle without overheating LOL, and so I can actually wake up after I get out of bed

I can't believe I slept on spectrum for so long,,,,,what the heck,,,,,,,,,,

as a little backstory,,,,,I discovered spectrum right after dongyoon's passing when I saw it on the news ? I was a fan of his from mixnine and I honestly wasn't aware that he had debuted in a group, but I couldn't bring myself to listen to spectrum's music after that since I didn't want to be upset.

I really regret not doing that sooner. this was really, really good and I'm definitely not going to sleep on them any longer. they're all so talented and just,,,,,wow. big wow. huge wow. I want to stan them asap and listen to every song of theirs and be there for them and support them because they really deserve it, they've clearly worked so hard ???

I watched their showcase video as well to see the choreo in full since the snippets in the mv looked epic, and wOAH, not only did it totally blow me away and beat every expectation I had of it, but those live vocals were gold and that playback was so soft !!! that's true talent right there. dancing to a complex choreo while singing at the same time is incredibly tough, yet they still absolutely nailed it !!!

bap is a group that I don't typically listen to, but it's not because I don't like them — a former friend of mine that I had a falling out with is obsessed with them now so I generally avoid them to avoid her. but I really love bap. zelo absolutely rocked this. like,,,,,omg. the vocals in this are so beautifully unedited, something that is rare nowadays in the music industry. I love how it's kept intact with those slight imperfections that make it even more perfect in the end. it really sounded like he was singing live at first which got me shook, and let me just say that he has SUCH A GOOD SINGING VOICE !!!!! like fr, I love it. he's too good for this world.

honestly, I didn't think I'd like yes or yes — even though I love twice, the trailers seemed pretty underwhelming, I wasn't a fan of the snippets they used as promo, and their music is very hit or miss for me ): however,,,,,after watching the mv, I absolutely fell in love with this song !!! I'm surprised at how much I like it, actually.

this concept seems perfect for them. it's not overwhelmingly cute, but not straight up girl crush either. it's almost like,,,,,a nice combo of the two? a happy middle ground? and that choreo was killer; I love seeing twice get more and more complex choreographies as they progress as a group (:

mina is my bias, so seeing her get so many lines and absolutely rock them was a real treat ? same with momo — she's one of my two bias wreckers and I adore her voice, but jyp always does her dirty by giving her the most high pitched, squeaky lines. this song felt different with some lower notes from her and she absolutely killed it !! and nayeon, my other bias wrecker, was just too cute in this mv. I'm a chronic procrastinator for sure LOL — I always put things off until the last moment or just never did them at all. it was definitely the worst in school where I was a straight a student on tests, but got an f on every homework assignment I ever had since I never bothered to do them. it balanced out to a c in the end, and you know what they say: 'a c is still passing',,,,,although I definitely don't condone doing the same thing I did. I really regret not having a higher gpa <":

I have very severe anxiety, and over time I've inadvertently developed certain coping mechanisms or signals to alert my friends that I need help with something. most of them are things that I can't control, although sometimes I can choke them down and hide them so no one notices.

if I glance at someone a lot, it means that I need something from them, but I'm too afraid to disrupt the conversation to say it. sometimes it's as simple as wanting my drink which is sitting on a table too far away for me to reach, but other times it's more urgent like needing to go home before I have a panic attack. I always find myself looking at people repetitively out of habit even though I've told myself not to even just minutes before, so this is definitely something that I can't control no matter how hard I try. when something is on my mind on repeat, it very clearly shows !! my family is extremely receptive to this signal in particular to the point where I can look at my dad a single time and he'll offer me whatever is sitting on the tray in front of him, usually my drink. he picked up on it before anyone else did, and before I even realized what I was doing LOL

when I sip my drink a lot, fidget / shake uncontrollably, rub my hands together, play with hair ties / zippers, or speak rapidly, it means that I'm very anxious and overstimulated, probably from too much social interaction at once or from something I'm worried about. besides shaking, these are a lot easier to hide — I usually do smaller, less noticeable things with my hands in public, like rolling a hair tie through my fingers / tying it into knots under a table, by my side, or behind my back where people won't see it. I can also change a conversation to be about a subject that I'm interested in to make my rapid speech seem like overstimulation from enthusiasm, not fear.

regardless of whether you like his new partner or not, you should be there for him to show how much you care about him. in the end, I'd want to see my dad happy regardless of who it's with and how sudden or unexpected it may seem, and I really hope that you'd feel the same way about your dad.

showing disapproval or disappointment would only create a rift between you two at this point, and I personally wouldn't want the relationship with my dad ruined over something like this. what if it doesn't get better? what if your dad dies before you're able to make peace again? I'd have a lot of regrets over it and it just isn't worth that sadness in the end.

although it's far from perfect, I love my art and how much it's improved over the years. I love my art style and I love the way I use the tools given to me to create my art. I love how I line my digital art, I love how I watercolor human skin / faces, and I love how I make feathers and moss with oil paint.

and probably the biggest of all: I really love how I can come up with new ideas even though I have aphantasia and struggle to picture things in my head. when I first found out about it, it made me really sad for a while since it felt like nothing but a handicap, but now it feels great — if I can do all of these artistic, visual things without actually picturing things in my mind before I make them, then I must really be talented to some degree, right? thinking about it like that makes me very proud ?

rules set with the intention of taking away rights should always be broken. everyone deserves to have their basic human rights regardless of skin color, gender, sexuality, religion, etc.

and yes, this includes personal control over who you love and what you do with your own body. no one should try to control another person by making it illegal to marry someone, illegal to end their chronic pain, or illegal to have an abortion. it might be against some religions' moral codes, but it certainly isn't against them all and you have to respect that.

so,,,,,please don't force your religion / beliefs on another person. you can still uphold your moral codes even if they aren't laws that every person has to follow. you'd still have your rights while we'd still have ours. win-win situation.
