yeah! when I was in high school, I got sick and no one knew why for a very long time.
this caused a lot of anxiety around people and food. imagine,,,,,running to the bathroom every single time you ate, embarrassing yourself in front of your classmates. the only solution I had was to not eat unless I was at home. I went down to 80-90 pounds just to attend my classes.
the testing was invasive. doctors gaslit me and said nothing was wrong. they wouldn't even do the testing I needed. on top of that, I already had a phobia of doctors, hospitals, and needles from traumas that happened in preschool and elementary school. it was my worst nightmare.
after years, I finally got my diagnosis of lymphocytic colitis and got put on the right meds. the doctors were all wrong and biopsies proved it. things were supposed to get better, but,,,,,,my anxiety stayed and wouldn't go away. I almost got kicked out of high school from not attending for my entire senior year. I had trouble leaving the house because I was scared of being sick in public. I was scared of having panic attacks.
I was being treated for severe agoraphobia when the pandemic hit and I was locked in here. the exact OPPOSITE of my treatment. now, I don't know how to leave. I'm a bit stuck here,,,,,,aha

Why are you single ?
my social anxiety makes it hard to meet new people, but the biggest reason is that I wouldn't feel comfortable dating someone while I'm dealing with agoraphobia 0:
my panic disorder is just too bad, it isn't under control yet. I would feel guilty dating someone because it would be difficult to spend time together ): and I don't want to make anyone wait for me, either. that only led to breakups in the past when my partners got tired of waiting.
I want to work on myself first and actually be in a good place for a relationship. progress is going slower than I hoped, but maybe someday I'll get there,,,,,,
