What would you think if your spouse’s new coworker/friend of the opposite gender seemed desperate to meet you and was even sending gifts?

I'd think that they want to be friends with you (: it's totally normal for colleagues to become friends outside of work and go to dinners and such with their families. my parents still keep in touch with their work buddies and go to lunch every month even after retiring!! I'd trust my partner, and I'd be open to the idea of adding new friends to my circle if they're people my partner cares about.

Gift cards as Christmas gifts: yay or nay?

yay, but I think it depends on what the gift cards are for. you can still put a lot of thought and effort into picking out gift cards for people you care about (:
for example, if you know your partner LOVES shopping at a specific clothing store, it would probably mean a lot to them to get a gift card for it. you're still giving a heartfelt gift with their interests in mind, but also letting them have freedom to choose their favorite things to buy for themselves. it's very caring! plus, you can even make a date out of it!! you can take them to the store to go shopping together <3
in this way, gift cards don't have to be a "lazy" gift that shows no interest in the person you're giving them to. you can make them meaningful.
sure, some people like unwrapping things on christmas morning. there's a lot of excitement in that. I enjoy it, too. but personally,,,,,,,,,,,I'd rather unwrap a gift card to my favorite store than unwrap something from the same place that might not fit, might not be my taste, etc

Do you eat breakfast in the morning or just coffee?

I have to eat breakfast as soon as I wake up, otherwise I get really nauseous, shaky, and dizzy 😞
ironic since I used to skip breakfast for years!! I wouldn't eat anything until lunch all throughout middle school, junior high, and high school. sometimes I'd even skip lunch too and eat my first meal as soon as classes ended.
it wasn't very healthy, I lost a lot of weight and I think I messed up my body 🤨 I'm not sure how I managed back then!

no, I think that's an invasion of privacy and probably a red flag 👀 my phone is my personal space. it would be like walking into someone else's bedroom and rummaging around through their stuff. sketchy!!
relationships are supposed to be built on trust and respect. if we can't trust each other, why are we even dating in the first place? everyone deserves the option of privacy and boundaries in their lives, even in close romantic relationships.

Who is the boss in your house?

I would have said my mom, but the power balance is shifting,,,,,,,my dad retired a week or two ago and is being a lot more active around the house now that he isn't busy working 24/7. he's taking more control of how things are done. I'm not sure who will end up on top yet!

If you eat eggs what’s your favorite way to have them cooked? Scrambled, sunny side up, over easy, soft boiled, hard boiled etc

I really like scrambled eggs. even better with black pepper and a little bit of shredded sharp cheddar melted in 💜
tbh I've never had a hardboiled egg before,,,,,,,but I definitely don't like runny eggs!! and I think mixing the yolk in before cooking makes it taste better than having it separate from the white

I grew up with cats and love them dearly, but I also really want a dog someday,,,,,I spent a lot of time studying them for genetics stuff and fell in love.
they're both so precious!! all animals are amazing 🐱🐶

Do you believe in taking medicine or letting your body do it’s job

medicine can be a very good thing !! we take it for a reason. we just have to be careful not to fall into big pharma's trap or take more meds than necessary (:
antibiotics saved my life when I was in preschool. there was no way that I would have survived without medical intervention - I had osteomyelitis, a bone infection, in my knee. at the very least, I would have lost my leg in a last ditch effort to save my life by amputating it. I'm thankful that I was able to recover so well with only minor lasting pain!!
I also got strep throat a TON as a kid, to the point where everyone at the doctor's office knew my family,,,,,they knew exactly what my problem was before I even told them LOL. that probably would have bumped me off at some point if it wasn't for antibiotics, too x"D
on the flip side, some diseases are now antibiotic-resistant from the over-prescription of medications for minor problems. we have to decide when illnesses are severe enough to warrant taking medications vs just recovering naturally. my mom always gave me a rule: I could only go to the doctor to get meds if it didn't get better after 5 days and wasn't an emergency.
