I hate getting stabbed but today's needles don't really hurt you just have to wait a while to get over a few small symptoms I just don't like it when the needles to fool

I always go into fight or flight mode and try to run away or attack the people trying to give me the shots xD my doctors got tired of having to pin me down for shots or bloodwork unless it was absolutely 100% necessary. I'm not sure if I could do that yearly tbh

Try a flu shot

unfortunately I can't since I have a very severe needle phobia ): I haven't had a flu shot in my entire life because of it, although I got my other vaccinations as a kid bc those are v important and worth the panic attacks haha
I've only had the flu two or three times that I'm aware of, most when I was a kid. so I know it's bubbling up again, but I don't know when it's gonna strike,,,,,jdsfhdksfhdjfh

no, definitely not. china has a lot of issues.
to start with, there is no freedom of speech, only high levels of censorship. they attempt to control every aspect of what people do online to the point where basically every western social media is prohibited. everything is monitored constantly. my friends in china are always using something to disguise their internet usage so they can so much as communicate with the western world.
journalists are always getting arrested. it's terrifying.
there are widespread issues with counterfeits, even going as far as having counterfeit meats of low quality being passed off as high quality. some of it isn't even safe for human consumption from what I've heard.
buildings in china are only built to last 25-30 years and rarely get routine maintenance. it makes living there pretty dangerous. they can build buildings fast, but not in a very good quality. and speaking of buildings, beijing itself decides when heating and cooling become available in the city yearly because there are no private companies for that. cold? too bad. gotta wait until the city decides to turn that shit on. imagine how bad the roads are, too, if the buildings are falling apart.
women have mandatory invasive medical exams if they have certain jobs to make sure they're abiding by the one child policy, even after menopause. that's an invasion of privacy, plain and simple. it's disgusting.
and apparently, at one point the government was forcing people to smoke cigarettes to boost the economy. yikes.
and that's just the tip of the iceberg. there's so, so much more.

Why do we wash bath towels? Aren't we clean when we use them???

even if you've washed yourself, your skin is still shedding dead cells and hair at all times. they will build up on the towels over time as you wipe your body with the towel, even if you just removed a majority of it in your shower! the towels can also get dusty over time as they sit on a rack so it's important to wash them from time to time to keep them clean (:

Describe your neighborhood!

my neighborhood is,,,,,smooth, almost like the roads were created by hand in long, curving, motions by a paintbrush. it feels warm and homely, but with threatening undertones at the same time. it makes you feel wary, like you can't trust everyone that lives here. I can trust some, but not all. I don't know a majority of the people that live here.
the houses are an alright size, but on tiny properties that make it feet cramped. trees dot the yards, while a creek surrounded by a small section of forest runs alongside the streets. it makes some areas hot from the sun while others are cool and shady.
there are always animals, whether they're songbirds, rabbits, deer, crows, frogs, toads, snakes, raccoons, owls, foxes, skunks, or opossums ( although I have yet to see a living opossum in person ). and there's always people out during the day walking. always familiar faces somewhere.

What song brings back memories from your childhood?

just about any soft rock or folk revival song from the 70s brings back childhood memories <3 some of my favorites are sister golden hair by america, rhiannon by feetwood mac, summer breeze by seals and crofts, cat's in the cradle by harry chapin, ventura highway by america, dreams by fleetwood mac, and tiny dancer by elton john.
they're the songs my dad played on the radio when I was a kid. the radio would always be on when we were cleaning or when he was working in the garage and I grew to love them, even if I didn't know any of the bands' names and got a lot of the lyrics wrong!
every time I hear them, I think of those laid-back, carefree moments where I'd be helping my dad or playing nearby while he worked. I didn't realize how much I missed those days until recently tbh - my dad can no longer do physical work like he used to with his tremors and dizziness so the radio hasn't been on in a year or two. I hope that someday he'll be better and I'll walk in to hear the radio blasting again (:

definitely my brother! although he jokes around a lot and picks on me, he knows when something is serious and tries to get me help when I need it. I definitely trust him to help me when I'm feeling sick or in danger.

oh man, I really relate to this! I had a massive crush on one of my friends in high school, although I didn't fully understand my sexuality back then and didn't understand that I really liked her until after the fact.
I've fallen hard for a handful of girls since then and I'm so worried that my family will find out and won't approve, although I've been thinking about coming out to my mom recently since she seems supportive of lgbtqa+ people. to me, it definitely comes down to safety - don't come out if it might put you at any risk, like being kicked out, abused, etc. but if you think you'll be safe, or if you're old enough to move out anyways, then it's definitely an option.
I've always been too shy and anxious to talk about my feelings with any of my crushes regardless of their gender, but I think it can be good to be brave sometimes! I'd try testing the water first to see what she thinks about girls and the lgbtqa+ community. if her reactions seem positive, then I think telling her is a good idea, if anything to just be honest with her!

If you had the opportunity to go somewhere and start a new life, where would you go? What job would you have? And how do you imagine your house there?

I'd love to go somewhere smaller than the city I live in now, with more trees and a slightly colder temperature (: it doesn't really matter exactly where as long as it fits those things, although it might be hard to find somewhere rural enough since my dream job is in conservation genetics and that's usually in larger cities and their research facilities.
I imagine a quaint house with a nice sized property littered with trees, maybe even with a pond where I could keep ducks. and a large garden full of flowers, birdbaths, and bird feeders is a must! something that feels like a cute, but witchy cottage.
