this guy and I were in a place where we knew we were going to break up, but neither of us wanted to be the bad guy and actually do it. so we just,,,,,dragged things on for no good reason. I moved on during that time and was starting to get close to someone else, but I was scared that my boyfriend would find out and be upset. I thought he was still interested in me when he wasn't. I just couldn't bring up the courage to dump him, no matter how wrong it was to like someone else while dating him.
thankfully he finally ended it and we talked things over. we were both 100% on the same page the whole time, but neither of us wanted to hurt the other person. we felt so dumb lmao. he wasn't even mad, apparently he had moved on and had a crush on another girl too.
and that's why communication is super freaking important in relationships !!!! it should have never gotten to that point. lesson learned.
