I'll go with number (1).

It's loved ones, right? Given the plural form of 'one', it means that I could take anyone, as many as I want. I could take my lover, family, relatives, even K-pop idols as long as they are labeled as 'loved ones'. I would simply get rid those bigots, retarted jerks, fanatic people, idiots, perverts, blah blah and I could simply throw those humans away into hell.
