I asked the question about the dry food. I read your website, so you don't think giving cats dry food is good? What about if they have access to dry food but mainly eat wet food? The fish one was interesting too!

I think that could be a great choice for the cat, to give mainly wet food (and/or meat) and give dry food as treats or a small lunch every now and then :)

Breeding sounds confusing! What is the relation of your cats? Is there any brothers or sisters?

It is not all fun and gamed, that is for sure. You are responsible for many lives. None of my cats are related

I really LOVE cats and I want to work with them, and socialize with them, so what should I do to answer that? I'm 13 and most shelters I'm looking at are for 16 year olds and that. I have 1 cat at home.

I think that is great :) You should take this time until you are old enough for the shelters, to learn more about cats. Then you will be the perfect candidate for any shelters when you are 16 :)

My 3 ragdolls at home are currently on a half canned food half dry food diet, but seem to have ongoing problems with diarrhoea, happening maybe once or twice a month. When it happens it usually comes with fresh blood in their poo as well. What do you recommend I do for their diet? Thanks:)

You need to consult a veterinarian about this, when you know that the cat is healthy you can start changing the food to see if that is what is making this. Fresh blood in the diarrhoea don't have to be all bad, it is common in this state because they go to the litterbox more often.

How do you train you cats and show them you are the boss? How to understand what they want and need?

Never give in when the cat is howling at night because he wants to get out, get food etc. Everytime you give in to this bad behaviour, you are rewarding the behaviour. Get to know your cats very well, then you will learnd how they respond to you and the bond between you will be perfect. A spoiled cat, is most sertainly a bad behaved one ;)

It's easier to bond with a kitten when they're younger but if we adopt an older cat, can we still get that bonding? Like the cat hanging out with us in the room, etc?

This is very individual, you could absolutely still bond with an older cat but if you get one that is very shy and timid, it might take some time to get to this close bonding process.

How long does it take to brush a Cats fur? If it long as a Siberians? I know that you focus on Ragdolls and NFOs, but do you know anything about Siberians fur, I know that they shed a lot. Could I just cut a Siberians fur to short, so I don't have to groom it every day?

If you groom her a little bit everyday as she shed, you don't need to do it for so long. And as they don't shed you could do it one time each week or every other

My cat has always not liked having his paws touched but has never hissed at me before. but today he was bumming around and i tried to and he seemed very agitated and sounded like a hiss( but not sure cause it was his waking up voice - not so clear)

If he doesn't like to get his paws touched, than I think you shouldn't touch them. To try and get rid of this behaviour, you might need to teach him that it is ok when you touch them, by giving a treat at the same time, associating the movement with something positive. If you want to trim the claws, you might take him to a vet or petstore to do it for you, so the learningprocess with your hands don't get interrupted

i have 2 ragdolls wich wet food do you use or recomment?

I use Bozita, iams and Schesir mostly, and some swedish brands

My 12 week old kitten is "clawing" the rugs as my mother says. He doesn't actually claw them but she says if he doesn't stop she wants him declawed. How can I make him stip scratching? Hes not interested in his scratching posts.

There is a lot of different ways to introduce scratching materials to a kitten, and it seems that your kitten doesn't like the one you have so you need to try another one. Tell your mom that your cat will start to scratch other things if you don't provide what the cat asks for. There are flat scratching mats to try, corner scratch to put on walls, there are cardboard scratchers etc. You need to try them out until you find one the kitten likes :)

Ok vad skönt att det inte var något allvarligare än så :) Det är normalt att de har kortare päls en del av året och lång den andra. Thea ser hemsk ut när hon har tappat sin päls :) Det växer tillbaka, säkert till hösten!

I am so sorry to hear that <3 Our furry friends has such a deep impact on us and it is hard to loose them.
I think that you should take the time to feel sad and cry about it, otherwise you will have a harder time to get over the feelings you get. And write a letter to your cat, explaining how you feel about this and after that you will able to move on. But it will hurt for a long time so don't try to push these feelings away, it is a healthy way of processing this.

Hej Josephine! Jag har en turkisk angora och nu när det är sommar och är varmt (och eftersom att de har väldigt mycket päls) så undrar jag om jag kan göra något för att hålla deras normala temperatur så de inte blir alltför varma? :)

Så länge värmen inte är ett problem för kattens hälsa så kan du hålla värmen ute genom att inte öppna fönster för vädring, då håller det sig svalast hemma. Om du måste ha öppet ändå så kan du ex ge frysta köttbitar som godis, som hon kan slicka på för att svalkas lite. Det finns även svalkande filtar i zoobutikerna som du kan testa, jag rekommenderar de som inte fylls med vatten då det skvalpande ljudet kan vara skrämmande för katten

Do i have to wet the q-tip? And how far could i go in with it?

No you can use it dry, that way the grease will stick easier, making the whole operation faster. Do not go in the ear canal, only on the inside of the "flap" that is sticking out from the ear

don't sell zinna and berry "maybe":(( there is no better owner in the world than youu !!!! and muffin is a beautiful cat compared with other cats of his sort

If the siblings are close and normally play together, yes they will probably do this too :)

It is different prices depending on breed, country, "use" of the cat and season. My ragdolls is sold for 800 euro for pet quality and 1500 euro for breed/show

There are a wide range of toys and prices, check out your local store or go to an online store to see what the toys you want to buy cost.
It is safe to let your cat use stairs, if he is healthy and mobile :)

Hi, is there an easy way to clean cat ears?

Use qtips and be very gentle. Have someone to hold the cat so you can ise one hand to hold the head still so that the cat won't make a sudden move so the qtip will go further in. If you are unsure, use a cotton ball instead, with that you can be a bit more rough

How do you brush Muffins tail if it is so fluffy?

I don't brush the tail so much actually :) Just run a comb through it sometimes

My knocks down stuff at night while I sleep, and then the next day I find it on the floor or broken... I don't know what to do about this... I could cage my at but I don't want to do that because it might be illegal, like in Sweden and it wouldn't be good for the cat... Any help? <3

The cat is bored, he needs more or other stuff to activate himself with. There are many many different toys on the market today so I can promise you that there are some toys that he will like :) An indoor cat need to be activated, otherwise they will start to find other things that they find funny. Do NOT cage tha cat, he has not done anything wrong at all.

If I would be gone during the afternoon, could I just lay out food (lunch) in the morning and the cat would eat it later?

Yes you could do that :) The climate is probably different where you live, but in Sweden the food can lay for about 10-12 hours before it gets bad
