(Contd) if she does ask us to give pure raw meat should i address the issue or should I just secretly make the barf diet using that meat. (E.g kangaroo meat and we add in our own chicken bone, liver, heart)

This is what you should do: call another vet. And then another. And maybe one more. Ask about a diet schedule for food trial and tell them about what your vet said (last in the conversation) and tell them that you thought it sounded strange (which it does)
I specialize in behavior and cannot give you any more information about this. But call a few more vets to ask about this, that is always the best to do

(Contd) want to give him is not nutritious to let him grow. ;( I read that long term lack of taurine can cause sudden death. But if I tell the vet that she won't take it too well.

I will answer in your last post

My 8 month old cat is undergoing tests to see what he's allergic to. I'm afraid for the food trial they'll ask us to feed him pure raw meat( no bone/ organs/ vitamins like in barf) cause they mentioned that they wanted to wait till he's 9 months since he's still growing( means the food they (contd))

I know that you complement your cats food with commercial wet food too. But would you be confident enough to leave them purely on the barf diet for a few months? Or it's not good enough?

I could defenitly give only barf food, it's just that when I have kittens that needs to learn to eat store bought food, I get a bit lazy ;)
As long as I don't ever go back to giving dry food, I'm happy :)

oh my .. I feel so ashamed right now .. :'( I'm so sorry girl, please forgive me .. !

Nothing to feel ashamed for :) Now you know the story behind it <3

heey ! why does your IG name is "fjarilflickans" ? :-)

That is the name of my cattery :) It translates to Butterfly Girl in english and is a dedication to my first Thea that got hit by a car while playing with butterflies =,(

But why do you post more pictures with muffin than with the others? It seems to me that you love muffin the most.

It is mostly because when I don't work, I'm in his room (my livingroom) so it's just how it is. But I think it is about equal :) You might miss some photos ;)

Zinna's happy tail could mean she's in heat? Because she's pointing her behind up like cats in heat :O

No not this time :) She was clawing on the carpet and stretching <3

Im a big fan of youuu!! You have super adorable catssss!! Especially muffinsss!!! He is very cuteeee!!

Thank you <3 I will sure let him know that :)

How can I stop my kitten from biting/nibbling me?

If it is a kitten, it is a part of...well, being a kitten :)
Try to always lead the attention away to something else when that happens, and never give treats while she is doing this because it is like rewardning the bad behaviour.

My friend recently adopted a 6 year old Ragdoll that has bad dental health. The cat has had to have many teeth pulled and is missing a few already. Is this common in Ragdolls?

Not really, it could be bad genes that some breeder didn't care about to take those parents out of the breeding program. Or it could be just that this cat has been poor treated and/or given the wrong food. Hard to say. But it is not that common in ragdolls

My cat is always pissing in my bed:(

Then she is trying to tell you that something is wrong. It could be:
Too few litter boxes
Too small boxes
Wrong litter
Something has changed in the family, like a new baby, dog, boyfriend etc
A door that usually are open is now always closed
Illness
Go through these step by step and see what makes her do this.

hai@fjarilflickans i just bought i kitten around 4 months old,im so worried bcause she just ate a little and then refuse to eat.Is this a normal symptoms bcause she's trying to adjust herself towards the foods i'd given?btw,i gave her normal dry cat food and milk

It is common for the kitten to eat a bit less after moving to it's new home. It is a big transition and can be very stressful for a cat, at any age. Ask the breeder or previous owner what food she is used to and give the same food now, that usually works best.
Do not give cat milk, they cannot have that.
I don't think you need to be worried, but keep an eye on her <3

Hello! I have an outdoor cat and he always stays in the garden with his brother, but yesterday evening I didn't find him and this morning he hasn't returned yet:( this is the first time that this thing happens (I think, because I've never seen him leaving the house) (continue)

Maybe he saw something to chase and went too far away to find his hone. Go out and call for him <3
Is he neutered? If not, he could stray away far from his home. But let's hope he misses his humom and brother too much for that

(1)Hi, I'm the one with the 8/w kitty, she's been with us for one week now and she's so good and sweet and is finally using the litterbox, but two days ago she started to bite us, like when I try to clean her eyes or ears and I want to know how to stop that,I don't want to be afraid of my own cat :(

Your kitten is in the moddle of the period when she should have her mother to dicipline her, so you need to do that instead now that she doesn't have her mother.
Kittens will bite, that is normal and how they learn things. Get her toys to bite so she doesn't bite you :)

My kitty vomits ever since she is of her kitten food. I went to two different vets and the first one gave her meds that worked for one week bit then she vomits again. So went to another and that one gave her special good. That really worked well! But after few months she is vomitief again, what now?

It is hard to say, but you need to call a vet to ask about this. I hope it will work out fine for you <3

okay, I've understood :) thank you! that will be hard 'cause when I see him, I just want to cuddle him ❤ but I will let him in peace !

I know, this is the hardest part. But think about why you are doing it and what a great reward you will have later :)

I have 2 litter mates, male and female, my vet usually don't neuter until 6 months but they said they will do it at 5 months because of their genders

That might be good :)

I have question for you ;) I'm worried 'cause when I hold my cat in my arms, or when I kiss him, he meowing so hard and he starts to be aggressive. maybe it's 'cause he's 10 years old.. I don't but that's make me sad :(

Hard to say why this is, but you should try to not be so intimate with him, cats only like hugs and snuggle when they invite it. If you force it, the cat could start to recent you for it. Find other ways to snuggle but without touching. We humans touch, cats don't. So we need to find a happy middle :)

Is demodex's occurance in a cat common? I searched on google i only found info that its not surprising in US but found nothing about other countries like Aust. Trying to see if I should bring that up to the vet for his itching

I couldn't find much about it when I searched. It seems to be more common on dogs.
I think you should ask your vet if this is something that can occur in your country

What do you mean "Quality I use in the camera"???

You can choose different JPEG sizes and quality. Lower quality makes smaller photos and with that you might be able to take 5000 photos instead of 500 :)

Oh I am sorry, when I go to your page (catwhisperer) I don't see new articles... Is there a way we can get a notification when you update it? :/

No I don't have that.
Under "Health" I have posted a lot of articles, I only had 2 there before :)
