Hi! Me and my cat Isak are also in Sweden. I'm currently practacing my English as I'm a little rusty at writing and reading. Do you know why my Isak is hissing? No new cats. He hiss at me when I go near him. I'm very sad because we was very close. I miss the old Isak :C

Have you notice if your cat is in pain? It sound a bit like he might be in pain or very much stress. Try Feliway to reduce stress and maybe you should do s vet check up just to see if he might be in pain somewhere :(
I hope he will go back to be the cat he once were <3

How many times you take your cats to the vet? :)

Regular check ups I do 1-2 times a year, but I take them a lot more since I'm weak for cats with the slightest symptoms of disease :)

My cat died about a year ago - I am still very sad of course - but I am thinking it's time to get another. I just think it will remind me of my previous cat. I am not sure what breed to get either. My last cat was a ragdoll and died of heart problems.

My best advice to you is to check up the breeder carefully before you choose your cat, that way you know that you will buy a healthy cat. There are too many breeders that doesn't do health tests on their cats and therefore many buyers will have their heart broken :( I'm so sad just to think about it.
You will feel when you are ready for a new cat, and if you want to I will help you to discuss what you see and hear from breeders you have contact with. Ask them a lot of questions and if they won't answer, then walk out the door and see another breeder.

Min ragdoll på 10 månader (kastrerad hane) har i samband med vårfällningen fällt bort nästan allt hår på svansen!!! Kvar är en ynklig råttsvans :( Tankar, tips?

Om det endast hade med fällningen att göra så behöver du inte vara orolig. Om det kanske var så att han tvättade sig mycket där så kan det vara en hormonrubbning ex. och inget farligt alls men man kan ha lite fortsatt koll och försöka bryta mönstret med att säga ifrån när han maniskt tvättar sig där.
Så länge han mår bra och svansen i övrigt ifrån det estetiska ser bra ut så behöver du inte oroa dig :)

Did you finish any other college before signing up for this one? Do you have to have some experience to join or? :) And what is your branch called?

I have taken shorter classes here in Sweden but nothing like that was neccessary to take this education. I'm not sure what to call the branch actually :/

After you get in diploma, are you qualified to be a vet or what?

No I will not be a vet, I will see how I feel when it is over but I'm hoping to do some more courses here in Sweden. My goal is only to be able to give better advice to our fans and to my cat friends but if it will be my future work, we'll see :)

How much do you think muffin will weight when he is fully grown? I can't wait for you to have some new kittens <3 when do you plan to have a new litter on thea? And who would you have litter on first, zinna or berry? ;)

I'm not sure, I hope he will at least stay on and around 6kg but I think he might go over that :)
Thea will hopefully have her next litter next year.
Right now I think that Zinna will have Muffin's first babies because it seems she will be more mature when the time comes, Berry might need a bit more time to be a kitten ;)

Jag tycker absolut du kan ha katt hos dig, det viktiga här är att det blir en innekatt så kolla upp vilka raser du föredrar som kan tänkas trivas inne. Du skulle nog kunna ha två katter men då kan du behöva fylla din lägenhet med kattprylar som minst två toalådor, klösmöbel till båda och sovplatser. För att inte tala om leksaker såklart :)
Börja med en katt och se hur det känns och funkar, märker du att katten verkar lite ledsen vid 6-7 månaders ålder så kanske du ska fundera på en till katt. Men det finns många sk. aktiveringsleksaker nu för katter som är själva så satsa på många såna istället för tråkiga möss som bara ligger still :)

What exactly does a breeder do? What do you do after the cats have kittens?

After the kittens have arrived you have to make sure that the kittens are at good weight every day so you can help it eat if it is not gaining weight. The first weeks are the most fragile and many problems can occur.
At 3-4 weeks you have to start giving them solid food and teach them to go to the litter box.
At 8 weeks they get their first vaccine shot and at 12 weeks the get the second shot, chip and a vet check.
During all this time you need to take care of mommy cat that mostly only think about her kittens, so she needs other kind of food and if she gets stressed she might need something for the hormones.
This is only if everything goes well, but unfortunatly it doesn't always go well. If the kittens gets delivered by c-section and cannot get milk from mommy, they need to be hand fed or maybe go to a foster litter.
And kittens are very fragile in their immunesystem from when they start to eat solid food untilntheur first vaccination so at this time problems may occur.
This is only when you have a litter, it is more things to do with the breeder cats while not having litters ;)

What type of ragdolls are Muffin, Berry and Zina? (eg. seal bi-colour, blue point mitted). I'm saving up for one soon and yours are so beautiful. Any tips for buying? Doubt I would be buying to breed at this point sadly :)

Muffin is blue lynx bicolor, Berry is blue lynx tortie mitted and Zinna is seal tortie mitted :)
My recommendations to you is to ask a lot of questions to the breeder and go see them so you will know that everything is ok. If not, pkease don't fall in love with a kitten at that breeder, it might give you a lot of heart ache later. Ask about the cats health, if they won't answer you gladly - walk out the door!

How much does they weight now? They are growing so fast!! :)

Yes they are :D They weigh about 3 kilos now, right now they are growing very much so the scale don't change as much

Do you sell kittens at an older age? I bought a kitten a few years back and he was very annoying as a kitten! By the time he was, what, six months or so he had grown out of the habits of biting my feet etc. So I am not to keen to get a young kitten. 6 months would be best. Do you do this? Thanks x

I understand how you feel, i don't really like my own cats to be kittens either :) My kittens all get booked as tiny kittens so I don't have them here for so long :/ But there are many breeders who retire their breeding cats so that might be a choise for you? They will be older than 6 months then though

Why is dry food so bad? Is it just because it's dry or? Because they are some high class brands with 100% meat in 'em, so I don't get what the fuss is about ://

Yes one thing is that it is dried, cats should eat meat if possible and dry food is the furthest away from that. It causes so many diseases because the cat don't get enough water.
100% is NEVER 100%, that is good for you to know. The meat is boiled and all the good in it disapears.
If possible, just give wet food :)

Yes I almost always have it on manual, exept for when Im outside and it is sunny, then I go to P which on Nikon is an automatic setting without the flash popping up :)

Do you bath your cats?

Only if I'm taking them to a show or if they are greasy because of some accident
