I'm not giving it such high praise simply because I love the book - I'm giving it such high praise because it was just SO beautifully moving. Honestly, it felt more like watching real life unfolding before you than simply watching a film... to be that fully absorbed by a moving image on a screen in front of me is genuinely something that has rarely happened to me hahah. I mean I engage normally, and yes, I understand that is fictional, but whilst you're watching it, you BELIEVE it. Kinda scary, kinda gay but 100% beautiful
