oh also when i ride my pony sticks his head down a lot and i find it really hard to pull him up and i dont like hauling on his mouth but i cant do it properly what can i do

make sure his tack fits him properly because he could be doing it because hes uncomfortable or something, but otherwise make sure you are always riding forward because if you have a weak seat they'll snatch from you because they know they can get away with it. pull up with one rein only and kick on to get their head up and then keep riding forwarddd

since you are inexperienced i would make sure that you get someone whose judgement you trust to check, it might seem like this person is always trying to tell you things and doesnt like you but maybe she's just trying to help and possibly just coming across as a bit bossy and in your face? i would check with someone else to be on the safe side, you dont want to risk your pony being in pain/discomfort :)

well must obviously they'll limp and their stride will feel dodgy, short and stiff... usually most visible at the trot, but in some cases it shows up in walk as well. they might nod their head everytime a particular foot touches down onto the ground. if you run your hands down their legs they might have heat, lumps or bumps that are unusual, and check their frog and the soles of their hooves.
ask someone on your yard more experienced than you to have a look

anna-rose lee: you forgot the hyphen you prick that's an insult to religious bruce. but basics rosie is an utter babe we bully the shit out of each other and do cute things like walking to the stables at 7.30 in the morning when we could lie in because we're just fucking happy hikers. i can tell this girl everything in complete confidence which i value greatly, and its perfect because we can do from having a dmc into fucking laughing our heads off about absolutely nothing its awesome!
cara hayward: i have known cara for an extensive amount of time and shes never been anything but lovely. genuinely adore her company because her spurts of retard stupidness mixed with a healthy dose of crazy gal is just too fun to be around muchos love for cara whoreward
emily maunders: emily is great hahaha shes a complete dumb arse 99% of the time and just sooo slow in the mind bless her but shes such good fun to be around, takes our jests and jibes about her eyebrows all in good humour which is a good quality in everybody. shes so sweet and genuinely cares about people love her
daisy rooks: daisy tells the most pointless and slightly tedious stories that generally seem to have no relevance to the conversation we were previously having whatsoever, but thats just hilarious and i completely love it. she makes me die when she does her 'catwalk' and her over animated facial expressions and gestures just complete her shes an amazing person
daisy corbould: corbs corbs corbs, love her so much! she went from being like scared to talk to me to being pretty much exactly the same as me in terms of craziness, all the fucking shit we do, the interests we share = perfect. daisy is genuinely one of my fave people on this planet and the one thing i would change about her is her lack of self-esteem because shes fucking beautiful and she needs to realise it!
ellie turrell: i used to be so so so so so so so so so close to this girl it was unreal, shes so mature for her age and i just love talking to her. shes also one of those people that i can not see or speak to properly for ages but when we talk again nothing changes and there is no awkwardness whatsoever. her 'special' impersonations make my life worth living ahaha love her
milly pocock: SLIMEY. milly has been my companion of pretty much forever we trek hand in hand down a long road of a friendship involving a lot of sarcasm and bullying on both sides. we love like exactly the same thing and we are gonna have the best rest of the year and start of 2014 cos premieres are coming and oh my holy fuck it will be AMAZING yes milly and her lonesome bottle of malibu YES 2K14 WATCH OUT HERE WE COME
