Haha I tease Mae about it! He'd have to have been turned out, lunged and ridden and have me leading him for me to trust him with Mae haha.
He's too unpredictable and has a reputation so it would be silly to let anyone ride him who I didn't think would be capable. :)

Interesting question... Probably that I'm quick to a temper but it isn't like a rage-fest scream in your face fight you temper (at least not all the time lol) but more of a switched off, shut down, dismissive kind of temper - I also have a long memory for when something has upset me.

What's your worst habit when riding?
On the flat I'm definitely guilty of doing too much with my legs but that's a work in progress, as Wall-E and Ector improve so will that. Jumping wise, on Wall-E it's definitely interfering at the last minute on the approach, on Ector it's not supporting his inside shoulder which means he occasionally runs through my inside leg and shoots off.. not good lol!

Ector has a full cheek snaffle with a waterford mouth piece, I kind of hate it
Wall's has a sweet iron loose ring snaffle with a lozenge, he also has a baucher with the same mouth piece but I ride him in the loose ring for everything

my horse gets really strong going into a canter and throws his head up before bolting off. do you think a gag would help me control it?
I doubt he's bolting off, probably just tanking a bit on being heavy on your hands. But if he's lifting his head then no a gag won't actually be much help. Contrary to popular belief, gags are actually elevators that raise the head. It might help you stop him setting his neck against but you said strong going INTO canter which makes me think that you just need to school him a lot more so I'd say get someone experienced where you keep your horse to help you if you're struggling

I've been thinking about this one for a little while and I don't think I'd actively choose to unmeet somebody. If I had to, it would be someone who'd made little to no impact on my life and is largely irrelevant because in all honesty I kinda like who I am right now and I'm guessing that unmeeting people would alter that so yeah #contemplative

Not caring about him would equate to you keeping him on DIY and neglecting him as opposed to forking out for extra to make sure he's well cared for... but I'm sorry I do kind of get where they're coming from in the "knowing" them sense. I know some people who have horses on full livery that rarely go to see their horses because they know theyre getting whatever they need and being exercised etc (I dunno if this is relevant to your particular situation or not but hey-ho) and how can someone who spends like a max of three hours every two weeks with their horse claim to know them better than the staff who are exercising and caring for them day in and day out?

Only used I got my grabbed by ector and he hauled me towards him but I got my foot stuck and in a haynet so I fell like a sack of shit to the floor which scared him so he galloped back to his field with his tail in the air whilst I sat on the floor picking gravel out of my skinned hands

Ector literally gets like a big handful of pony nuts and half a scoop of hifi and a dollop of honey, but I've taken out the pony nuts because he's bonkers at the moment lol. Then in the mornings he'll get 2 or 3 sections max in a haynet, and over night he'll 3 to 4 soaked sections loose in his haybar.
Wall-E gets like a quarter alfla-a pellets, mint good doer hifi, prem flex, a gp supplement, a gastric probiotic and oil and then he has 3 or 4 soaked sections over night

what type of livery are your horses on and what sort of service do you get with them? just asking because every yard seems to do it a little different
Wall-E's on part livery, so he gets fed, mucked out rug change twice a day, turned out and brought in twice a day 7 days a week and hay/haylage and bedding is also included in his bill, Ector's on assisted DIY so they feed him in the mornings and turn him out or if it's raining he stays in because he just trashes his field so they'll hay him for me... but saying that because I work there as well, I get some extras free for Ector so on my days off I only have to go up once a day :-)

I mostly ride by myself but from WEC it's Cara, Polly and Mae and from Abrook it's Sam B, Emma and Sam S
